The Bearded Eel is one of my most favorite micro craft breweries of North Texas. The owners of Beaded Eel aren’t just brewing standard beers, they are creating beer with lots of flavor. For only being open almost a year I think they have released a more diverse beer selection than most other breweries have. I see many advantages to what the Bearded Eel is doing and with being able to create several fine beers. You never know what you will be pleasantly surprised with.

The two people that own this place are amazing. The beer is amazing and it is just a cool place to hang out. They are just trying to work extremely hard and make their dreams come true. If you want awesome beer and to support two wonderful people just trying to make it get you some Bearded Eel beer.

Soooo yummy and impressive for a very small business. The Texican is my favorite. Can’t wait until they open up again!

Absolutely great beer and great atmosphere. You can tell the owners really care about their beer and their customers. You can ask them anything about it and they can tell you exactly what ingredients, where they got the ingredients, and how they brewed the beer. Their sours add an interesting touch and their honey beer was delicious!

What a great place to see get built from the ground up. This family run business packs flavor and customer service into all that they do. As I looked for a unique beer to share with family and friends in Texas, this is where I send them. Their Texican was the first beer I tasted and it was love at first sip. It’s the perfect brew to sit back and enjoy at any season. I look forward to seeing this small family business grow in their success!

The brewery is now no longer open to the public, for the foreseeable future as they focus on their bottling. We came for their last Friday night. It was only $ 12, rather than 15 as they were out of glasses, so instead we got a plastic cup — if the website had said this we wouldn’t of made the drive out. The website was updated to say it was the last tour but couldn’t mention they were out of glasses. The lady at the door said they had ran out of glasses a couple of weeks ago, as they knew they were finishing being open to the public. I didn’t like their beers either, they were mainly Sours and GOSEs. We ended up only having one beer out of our three and leaving.

Went on a Thursday, was siked to check this place out and it did not dissapoint. the beer is delicous, if I can say. Though, they don’t have a «Blonde» or «Pale Ale» so all you lightweights beware! They do have however a great tasting IPA, Stout, and a couple of others. The owners were there and are extremly friendly. Though it seemed to be more of a taproom so we didn’t keep a glass and we paid as we went, there isn’t much to tour because the brewery is small, like very very small. I strongly recommend you guys check this place out, it is worth the drive! One more thing, if and when you go, the brewery is the in the back. There is a gate to the northern end(or right side if you are looking at the building from the front) that you have to pull in through, it is hidden so don’t go ballistic on your GPS if it tells you«you have arrived» and you aren’t close by, just look for their deliver truck with their company logo. enjoy!

Every time I go to a brewery and I think it’s small, I find one smaller. Bearded Eel is the smallest yet. It’s tiny. And so is the system they brew on. But it’s good stuff. Like Deep Ellum, they’ve done a little rye in some big beer. I like rye. I like beer. We’re gold. And a serrano beer. I can do this as well. Special mention for their blend of the serrano beer and the stout. Chalupa Batman. That was great. Okay. Picnic tables set up in a small warehouse with a bar behind them. Owners are there serving and they’re usually on hand to talk. Hell, I was at Martin House one evening and the brewer from Bearded Eel recognized me from a few weeks previous. He’s great, friendly, and makes pretty good beer. The toilet has a hilarious little foot handle on the seat. This was clever enough that I felt it needed its own paragraph. The drive is a beating, but it’s worth the trip. As mentioned earlier, grab some barbeque and bring it with you. If you forget, there’s a menu at the brewery.

North of Saginaw TX newest craft brewery. When I went they had 4 beers to sample. 15 $ for 3 samples and the logo pint glas to keep. I did like all the beers I did try. Before you turn in to get to the brewery you can get bbq at country boyz bbq and take it to the brewery to pait it with your beers. That’s what I did and it was a perfect match. The owners took some time to talk to every guest. If you like craft beer and you are in the area make sure to check it out.
