I’ve been here several times and have not had one bad experience. It’s a great place for a family dinner in the dining area or drinks with friends in the bar area. Great place to catch a game or hang out on their patio. The wait staff is usually attentive and efficient and, most importantly, friendly. Their food is pretty darn tasty with pizza, of course, being a favorite. I love their crust which has a slight chew to it and crispy edges. You can order their specialty pizzas or create your own. Other favorites are the wings and the potato chips aka cactus cuts. I came here one night after being ignored at a nearby establishment and have remained a fan of Boston’s since!

Having read the reviews before going, I was a little weary of going here, however, all the negative reviews I saw were from almost 2 years ago. Since it was right next to my hotel I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is expansive and the food was good. I had the mini pizza appetizers and some spaghetti with meatballs. My waiter was very attentive and I have no complaints. Although I’m not from Ft Worth, I understand this is a chain, so if I ever ran into the chain somewhere else, I would definitely go here.

Great food and great service! Great place for happy hour! Best bartenders! When Shelby or Court are working I never have to wait for a drink! I have never ordered something I didn’t enjoy!

Last time we came here was a long time ago. The parking lot seemed a little empty, so that kinda worried us a little, that maybe the quality of service wasn’t up to par or something. We were seated right away and a new server by the name of Shelby brought us our drinks right away, she was extremely friendly and a breath of fresh air. We ordered the Sliders which consists of 3 mini burgers and fries, and 18 piece of oven roasted parmesan garlic wings. Everything came out right away and tasted great. We finished dinner off with Boston strawberry cheese cake. We will definitely come back. BTW since we checked in on Unilocal we got $ 5 off our meal.

We came in here after being ignored at a nearby location, greeted seated and the waitress was immediately there for our drink orders and was very attentive as to when we were ready to order. Their beverage menu is awesome and don’t let the name mislead you. It’s Gourmet Pizza, but the menu has way more deee-lush items! Will definitely be back.

The people are friendly but the food is terrible! The chicken they use for their pasta is the frozen pre cooked Tyson’s grilled chicken strips and its horrible!!! I have been to the grapevine location and there they actually use real cooked chicken and it makes all the difference. Also they actually season and toast their bread so it tastes amazing!!! This location should take some pointers from the grapevine location as far as cooking!

This is a solid three star place. The service is very friendly, but sometimes a bit slow. The booths are comfortable. They just got a new menu and it is really big. The pizza is ok. The Mediterranean salad that I ordered was also ok. Decent food, decent service, ok place to eat.

Walked in, the place was excruciatingly loud, louder than most sport’s bars. The music hurt my ears, and was so loud that we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. And it wasn’t even like there were very many people there, maybe ten or fifteen. No one greeted us. There were no servers. The bartender totally ignored our existence. I will NOT be going back to this place. As we were walking out, my boyfriend remembered why he’d never gone back — the service was terrible the first time he went too. It took forever to be waited on, and that time he actually got to order food(we just left this time without bothering) he had to wait an hour and a half to get served. It’s too bad because I was excited to go to this place. Oh well.

Its average and probably better then 3 stars but have my reasoning. No. the pizza is not better then BJs but its different and some of the different ones are original. The dining area is family boring central. Lack of people ever go here anyways which makes the bar area nice for sports and usually isn’t crowded like a Buffalo Wild Wings. Decent beverages that are ok and ok selection of beers. Im seriously questioning the pasta dishes as wanting to try something different and was horrible and disappointed.

Just left here. Not coming back. Very lame mgr who wouldn’t even come talk to us and let the server try to deal with the situation alone. Luckily, there are many other awesome places in the area.

Really impressed with the wait staff. They are always attentive, and stay on top of drink refills as well any place I know. The food is good, and always served at the right temperature. I’ve tried most of what’s on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. I’ve come here with my son since the place opened, and would recommend it to anyone I know.

I really enjoyed this place. It was clean, attractive, and the waitstaff was attentive and efficient. A friend and I shared a pizza, and it was filling and fresh, with good texture, and just the right size.

If this restaurant served coca-cola instead of Pepsi it would be my favorite casual restaurant. Their variety of foods and pizzas is great. Go on Wednesday and have«buy one get one free» pizzas for your group. The dining room is quiet. The bar is great fun when games are on.

First time here. First time at a Boston’s location period. Surprised. Pizza was better than the menu pictures. Being from Europe I’m a proponent of thin crust with some crunch and the menu pics looked thicker and soft. Plus I was still somewhat full from lunch. So I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sliders with fries. I thought the menu said they came with slaw which I didn’t see but I actually realize that now that writing here. Sliders were good, fries crunchy and well seasoned. Tried slice of pizza(Ultimate Pepperoni) and I was very positively surprised!!! It was good, crunchy … No soggy bottom. Kudos for that!!! Now they only have to offer a pizza with tuna and onions(tonno cipolla). Pleeeeeease pleeeeease offer one! I have yet to find a pizza place in the US that offers that! I usually get a plain pizza from a take&bake place and put tuna and onions on it myself. It would be epic to get that here! Try it people, it’s awesome!!! Will be back here! Oh, and staff was super nice too!

Fantastic! We come here 2 – 3 times a month for a company lunch. So many choices! Boston Burger, Mamma Meatsa, Twisted Mac, wings, pizza. It’s all great! The kitchen can be a bit slow even when you beat the crowd. Service is attentive and they will talk and joke during a slower lunch hour.

Man*age*ment(noun): the act or art of managing: the conducting or supervising of something(as a business). Back when I was fresh out of college, and thrown into my first post business degree job as a Manager at Abercrombie & Fitch(don’t laugh), it was at this point when I began to learn the importance of the word«brand.» How do you«brand» your business. This was instilled into our noggins, repeatedly. A & F were masters at branding. Why is this relevant to this review? Simple, I say: As a Manager of a chain(especially a restaurant), the Manager must be privy to all of the businesses latest promos and specials. Unfortunately, in my view, Management fails miserably with knowing what their current specials(i.e. coupons) are during any given week. My latest visit on Friday, was similar to the previous two visits. I call in an order, and tell them prior that I have a coupon, and what the coupons is for. During each of these call in orders, the girl taking the order seemed befuddled, and not *clear* of what I was referring to.(This, in my opinion, is the fault of Management for not properly instructing their employees as to what their current specials are.) Now, to be clear– I don’t go to Bostons because their pizza is delicious, because it is not. I go here to escape the wife and child for a beer or two while I wait for my pizza. Oh, and because I’m frugal, and have a coupon too:) But, on this last visit, it will be the final visit. I can understand, and be patient when there are honest mistakes, and misunderstandings; but, I can’t tolerate laziness, and incompetence. And, most importantly, I don’t deserve a disgruntled Manager acting as though he’s doing me a favor, while he’s being burdoned by correcting an amount on my check, to compensate for my coupon. If you as «Manager» trained your employees properly, this wouldn’t be such an inconvenience for *you.* Two stars for the bar, as this is a safe heaven from the stupidity you get at the to-go counter.

Well, since I don’t know how to respond to the Boston’s comment left on my review I thought I would just do another one. So this is in response to your comment Boston’s: «Comment from Bostons R. of Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar 2÷7÷2013 «Hide Hi Kathleen, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience! We’re not sure and would love if you could clarify whether you visited our Arlington, Fort Worth or McKinney location! We apologize for not providing you with a memorable experience, which is something we strive to do for every Guest upon every visit. If you wouldn’t mind clarifying which location you visited, this will help us narrow our focus and identify where there is room for improvement. Thanks again.» Thank you for your comments, I noticed and I am impressed you would take the time to comment on all the reviews. Each restaurant on Unilocal has it’s own page so one only needs to go to the top of the page where the review is to find the location, which in my case was the Ft. Worth location. By the way your hostess was so kind to help us find the place since my GPS had us in some what of a «Bermuda triangle» on the other side of Ft. Worth heading for Weatherford. Thank God I called before we ended up in Odessa or Abilene! So I entered the restaurant with a very positive attitude to begin with. It’s not your fault that my visit was not memorable, I am a traditionalist when it comes to pizza and like I said in my review I do prefer the long established local Italian pizzerias. Designer pizza is just not my thing. Like I said not your fault. The pizza I had was not bad, I was not displeased with it, it just wasn’t the pizza of my dreams which can be found in Lemon Grove, Ca where I grew up. They have been in business since 1957 and I have, until moving to Texas, frequented their restaurant since I was in my teens back in the 60’s. The wait staff was very good and because it was Halloween, the place was almost empty so we felt like we had private dinning. Now, having said that, I will say that I am pleased and impressed that you have gluten free pizza crusts as I have recently for health issues had to restrict my intake of gluten. I am therefore, looking at places differently and mentally compiling lists of restaurants with gluten free menu items which I will most certainly be willing to try if I am ever near a Boston’s. My problem is the people I am usually with are the ones who chose the restaurants and I usually just go along. But now that I have this gluten issue I have a little more say in where we go. Thanks again for your comment and the opportunity to clarify any questions you have.

I’ve only tried their Flat Bread but so far I’m addicted to it. It’s open till 2am so it’s great to have an alternative to fast food when I’ve been working late. I recommend the 4-cheese flat bread with sausage(my custom). Enjoy!

So, it’s really hard to deny the fact that Boston’s genuinely care about how things are going — enough of them pop by to check on you(and I mean that in a helpful way) — that you never feel like you’re on an island. As for the fare, they mine familiar territory — the dinner staples of middle America(burgers, ribs, salads, pizza), eager and engaging service, and next thing you know you’re full. It’s pretty familiar, what with the laminated menus and the middle of the middle of the road menus, but spend a little time here, and they’re not mailing it in. That really counts for something in my book. All I know is I was flat famished when I dropped in recently and I led my way to a stacked burger with little interruption. That extinguished the hunger to be sure, but you give up a little knowing that the menu’s not going to wax particularly clever, that the items may trend familiar, that you may not discover something altogether new. And that doesn’t mean that they’re not doing exactly what they said they were gonna do, or that they should be undersold for being consistent, which in my brief experience they are. There are other interesting additions, like trivia night which happens here on Tuesdays. You can eat there too, and you may win, you may not. Depends on the room. But still, you may well leave feeling a hair smarter. Or at least pleasant and full.
