The food was great! A bit pricey but great food. They were quick with our delivery. I wish they would have included a menu but I’ll ask next time.

I pick up take-out from Bowl Express probably about once per week. It is by no means the greatest Chinese food in the world. However, it is consistently pretty good, quick, and priced fairly. I usually go with the Chicken Lo-Mein.

You gotta try their authentic chinese items. I would highly recommend the Boiled fish. Is a bit pricey, but is well worth the money. The fish is full of flavor and is spicy! Spicy is life, spice is love.

Love this little place! The employees are nice, as well as helpful. Our order came quick, & the food was delicious! It is definitely nothing fancy. Paper plates. The servings are large & cheap. Yummy. is all I can say!

On a recommendation from my son I ordered delivery for dinner. Ordering over the phone took a little effort because the call was interrupted a few times for other calls. They are a busy place. I didn’t mind it because if they’re that busy they’re probably very good. The food was delivered quickly and arrived hot and fresh. The order was correct. The General Tso’s chicken was prepared perfectly and was delicious. The steamed dumplings were very good. The large order of combo fried rice was very tasty. Big chunks of chicken, pork, beef and shrimp you could see was actually shrimp! I’m glad I listened to my son. We had a great Sunday night dinner. We will be calling this place first from now on.

It’s not that difficult ordering over the phone as long as you are patient and respectful. The lo mein was sour, and not all that great, but the crab rangoons were alright. I probably won’t order here again but they are very nice.

heartbreaking, was hoping to have the same, «I guess old recipe and menu», but sadly I didn’t, you would think if you didn’t at least make it better, but no. It has the same old decoration, color, even the double trash but only one is working. Come on this were back from 1990’s, even the sign this says«Chopsticks Express» and the name has changed. Old well, I ordered the Sesame chicken, the picture looked like what I used to order and the«Dragon & Phoenix»(sesame and sweet sour chicken) and was disappointing. The to go containers are smaller, you get chicken strips, thin ones and the sauce made them soggy and dried. It came with either white rice or fried rice. I got the fried rices and well it was fried, oily and no favor. I’m sorry I tried to reminiscence of my times at this place. but sadly epic fail.

Received a menu on my door about a week ago and I’ve been staring it every time I go to the fridge, so I decided to give them a call today. Not bad, I must say. First of all, I’m surprised they deliver to me, as I’m about 6 miles from them, but hey… they did. Props on that. A lot of delivery places have a pitifully small radius in which they’ll cart something to you. I got the kung pao chicken… as usual. That’s always my first go-to dish and my general indicator as to whether or not I’ll place a second order. The average Chinese delivery/take-out joint has the worst and/or most boring kung pao ever, however Bowl Express surprised me. They probably have the closest thing to the traditional Sichuan version I’ve had in the area thus far. I always ask for it to be extra spicy… or as spicy as they can make it… and they didn’t disappoint. It was swimming in hot chili oil, which is exactly what it should be. Take a bite and it makes your sinuses open up, nose run, sneezing fits… the works. It didn’t have Sichuan peppercorns from what I could tell and the chicken wasn’t wok fried… more of a grilled char… but it was quite good. I don’t think the average person would like this dish, however… it’s not a thick, molasses based sauce the average person in the states expects. It’s a fiery oil slick, perfect for spooning onto your rice. The egg rolls are obviously frozen, but they were ok. More of a fried spring roll, actually… but it was stuffed with white meat chicken, from what I could tell. Got my kid some chicken nuggets and fries, which were obviously frozen crap from Walmart… but I can’t hate on them for that. It’s not what they specialize in. So, they really should have gotten 2 stars for an initial review from me, as most run of the mill Chinese places do, however, I really enjoyed their kung pao and the fact they will drive over the 3 – 5 mile standard radius most places stick to is tight. Looking forward to trying the general tsos next time… I’ve heard that’s good

This was a hard review. On one hand, the general tso’s chicken is the best delivery chicken I have had from a chinese joint. Comes crispy(which is rare) and has a great sauce. However, literally everything else I have ordered has been pretty bland and bad. The chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein are hard to mess up. However, their’s was so bland it was just edible enough to fill the stomach. I also had order chicken teriyaki which I heard was good, it was just about as bland as the others. The egg rolls are interesting. They are crispy, and the flavor is ok, but the inside is just a white/grey mush. Not sure what it is. I also ordered lunch delivery once, the guy on the phone said it was $ 12, and I paid with card, then when it was delivered the check to sign was over $ 16. I am not sure if the guy on the phone misquoted or if they added a few bucks hoping I wouldn’t notice. Either way, I probably won’t order again. Overall, I’d give General tso’s chicken a 5 star, and everything else a 1 star.

I’ve heard Bowl Express can be hit and miss, but it’s only been hit so far for me. I usually snag the General Tso. Delivery is fast and the food is yummy.

This is our go to place for Chinese delivery. The general tso’s chicken with fried rice is our favorite. One order is more than enough for two people.

I really like the food here. The portions are large, and the food taste fresh. It’s a small place, which makes it even better to me; not really a fan of the large commercial tasting Chinese restaurants. I think the prices could be a bit lower, but for the taste I’ll pay close to ten bucks for a shrimp dish.

I work in the area and decided to try this place on a whim. I’m so glad I did! The food was great. I got a lunch special that came with a meat, a choice of fried or steamed rice(I upgraded to lo mein,) and an eggroll. After adding a drink my total was roughly $ 7. It was the perfect portion and the food tasted great! But I think my favorite thing about Bowl Express was the service. The girl working the counter was very kind and very helpful. When my food was ready, a gentleman brought it out(I got the impression he was a manager or perhaps owner,) and he was also very nice. I will definitely be visiting this place again, and bringing my friends!

My husband and I found this gem from our Acupuncture doctor. We’ve been searching for a more authentic Chinese restaurant in the Fort Worth area that doesn’t just serve the typical broccoli beef, orange chicken, fried rice, fried noodles and kung pao chicken. This restaurant has another menu under their cash register which contains different Chinese dishes. Also depending on what’s in season, they carry different types of fresh vegetables such as winter melon when I was there. We are so happy that we found this place. We can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.
