I can smell those Chicago style Vienna beefs anywhere and here they are ! huge Italian beefs and a huge bread roll. the bread is good and the Chicago Vienna all beef dog is a must! I have not tried the other menu items I just got to have my Chicago fix all the time I am there!

We tried this place later in the evening and the service was quick and the food was great. My husband got a lot to eat(Cheese sticks, no. 17 chicken and steak philly, and a few wings) and I got the Catfish meal(two huge catfish filets, french fries, and even the toast was delicious). And even with all this food our total was just over 20. I can’t wait to go back and get the chicken and steak philly for myself.

First off, I am a sucker for Chicago-style hot dogs. I think that the all-Italian beef deliciousness with vegetable assortments & mustard is among the best tasting types of foods that there is. With that said, I was quite surprised to discover Chicago’s Catch while visiting the shopping plaza that it was located within. The venue is quite small, yet quaint. In fact, the impression that Chicago’s Catch conveyed was that this is a Mom & Pop-type of setup, which is what I love! Its located between a Goodwill donation center, a convenience store, and a Cricket Wireless on the left side of N. Beach with the N. Tarrant Parkway intersection. Or, its across the street from the Super Walmart off of N. Tarrant Parkway. The signage of this venue is so-so, and it may be a bit of a challenge to see it while traveling on the road. There were at least 4 – 5 good-sized tables within the venue, which was okay. The cashier area with sodas and drinks + kitchen take up a majority of the interior square footage. Pricing seems to be reasonable. I paid $ 2.98 for a Chicago-style hot dog, which is pretty much market price. The highest I’ve ever paid was $ 3.50 while in Chicago last summer, as well as $ 3 flat in other areas within the country. The hot dog was definitely all beef, complete with the compliments of onions, peppers, and the pickle. And yes, don’t forget the mustard. If you put ketchup on it, smack yourself! That’s not a Chicago-style hot dog. There are quite a bit of other dishes on the menu(i.e., fried catfish, Philly cheese steak), which is appreciated. Plenty of soda and water available behind the counter. For today, I only wanted the hot dog. Customer service was good, and if you choose to wait, you can chill out at the table while watching a ball game on the flat screen television mounted in the far corner.

My philly was pretty dang good. I had been meaning to give this place a try but I kept expecting that I would only be disappointed. So I finally gave it a try. I was impressed. Don’t be fooled by the small place. It’s a quaint little spot. The philly was delish and that’s what matters.

Just passing by and was looking to try something new. Looks plain on the outside but the food inside was awesome. I had the Chicago style hotdogs, wife had the Philly cheese steak, son had the Buffalo style Philly. We all loved what we ordered.

Being from the Midwest and eating all over Chicago, seeing a name like Chicago’s Catch grabs your attention. So, I go in to give this place a try b/c I’ve been seeking for a great Italian Beef. Seeing fried catfish on the menu made it a no brainier(although I knew better). Before I ordered the catfish I asked if the was fresh or something pre-breaded that you just toss in the fryer. He told me the fish was fresh and the breading is made in house. I’m here to tell you, there’s no way. It looked and taste like it came right off the Sysco truck. Big disappointment. Since I was there I decided might as well try the Italian Beef. It was ok. Not great. Not bad. Just OK. Not on par with the places in Chicago or Milwaukee. The people seemed nice, but I have to give the review on the food and for that it gets two starts. My search continues…

I have driven past this restaurant at least two dozen times without ever noticing it’s sign. On my way to the kolache bakery a few doors down I noticed its sign. I saw they had hot Italian beef sandwiches. I hadn’t had one of those in 15 years. To my surprise they are great. It’s a small family run place getting started in a new area. The seating a limited but who cares, Have you really been to a non chain restaurant that is good that had plenty of seating? I would encourage you to try it out for yourself.

I thought this place was pretty good I had the fried Philly cheesesteak and my wife had the regular Philly cheesesteak and we both really enjoyed it. We also ordered some cheese sticks that were pretty good. I’ll say I was disappointed in the doritos nachos they just weren’t very good. But this place is clearly set up as a take out joint so if your looking for somewhere to sit down and eat look elsewhere cause its not very big but other than that I’ll be back to try the fish and wings cause overall I was pretty satisfied

Disappointed to say the least-its looks like a small subway upon entry only 5 to 6 tables to sit at — I ordered the Philly with fries and doritos nachos the wife went with jumbo Shrimp which was actually regular shrimp stuck on a long toothpick and deep fried The Philly was good but still not up to par with Buffaloes in Haltom City or Tex’s in NRH and I think they only gave us 10 french fries on each order and it was overpriced to boot –I like to go back and compare the italian beef to Tex’s but don’t think I will

This place is awful. I was very disappointed due the name, Chicago’s Catch. fish and chicken. It’s basically a hamburger and hot dog place. They have only limited fish and chicken meals unless you include chicken nuggets. I had the Talpia and it tasted like it was 2 years old and in fact really didn’t taste like Talpia at all. The Chicago Style hot dog tasted like a piece of rubber. The tv in the front was very loud and was playing Paternity Judge. Who plays that in a resturant? NO seating!

Just relocated here from Chicago six months ago and glad I found a place that knows what an Italian beef is. It’s actually pretty good too. I would give this place more stars however they don’t have sweet peppers, or mozzarella? The lady behind the register is WEIRD. Like friggin twilight zone weird, and service is slow. Whole experience was just bizarre
