I could go on and on about the sheer amazingness of this bar. The décor is like something I saw once at a bar in my dreams. I think its because this is the bar of my dreams. The drinks are cheap, the bar is clean and yet somehow maintains this level of yes dare I say hipster divey elegance. The drinks are made well and strong and the pour is always great! I cant really explained the ambiance in here but walking through the front door is much what I feel like walking through the gates of heaven should feel like. I think Miko is one of the coolest bartenders I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Go see her get a drink and tip her well because if anyone deserves a good tip its Miko! She is fun smart sassy and just an all around great person to be around. The bathrooms here are even amazing. Very clean and they didn’t smell like a urine trough. Seeing the bar from the outside I would have expected the smell of piss to permeate everything. That however is not the case. The patrons are also always nice here. Everyone in the bar seems to communicate with everyone else from their seats. By the way the seats are upholstered and not your typical bar stools. They are soooo comfy! I had such a great time here I couldn’t help but buy the bar a round of drinks several times. If you are in the area you should stop in and do the same you wont regret it!

This bar is probably not like anything most people have experienced recently. When you walk in the door there is an immediate curve to the right and a brick wall. If you have never been here you may be thinking … where the hell is this leading me to?! Then you round the corner and are dropped into a 1970−1980s looking paradise. This bar is classy and cool, however these words do not even do it justice. All the bartenders are awesome and one will sing karaōke while he makes you a drink = skills! I personally got to meet Mico — she is awesome and knows what she is doing behind the bar! The atmosphere here is indescribable so I am not going to attempt to describe it anymore than I already have. I had the privilege of first discovering this gem because my friends ex-boyfriend lives in the neighborhood and they were regulars. I thought it was so badass I had to take my fiancé when I was back in town visiting my family. If I still lived in Fort Worth I would go here often and get my groove on, play some shuffle board and hang out with the locals. Oh yeah … if you like cheese balls this is your place too!

This bar is legit. Tucked off the highway at Brentwood Stair– this place is straight out of the late 80’s. They have 2 newish pool tables, shuffle board and karaōke. The bartender is awesome. He will sing karaōke while making your drinks and refilling your bowl of free cheesy poofs. This is definitely a hole in the wall but it’s great and easy on the wallet :)

Yeah, I get around. As far as Forth Worth sometimes. Since the BF knows one of the bartenders at this joint we decided to go after our Scottish Festival fun and see what was up. The Corporate Image is in a slightly run down strip mall right off I-30. From the outside you think it is going to be sketch. On the inside it is dark and inviting. I’d say décor is classy… well, classy for a 70s bar. It has the bar with the soft bumper all around, it has soft leather bar stools and table chairs that have the backs on them. Huge TV over in the corner where the 10 patrons were watching the horse race and yelling like they were young whippersnappers and not people over the age of 60. They have 2 newly resurfaced pool tables, a shuffleboard table, darts, and those slot machine video games that older people inexplicably love to play all night. And a brand new internet jukebox. I was excited to find that I was the second youngest person in this bar(only person being younger was my BF). We got a stiff drink from the bartender lady and then another. We played shuffleboard. Then we moved back up to the bar and hung out when the BF’s friend got there for work. After a while we made friends with everyone remaining at the bar, all of them older and all of them super friendly. During the day they have food… and also at night they have sandwiches if the bartender feels like making you one. There’s also smoking in the bar… I can’t imagine a smoking ban ever touching this bar regardless of the law. It is just that kind of bar. Why’s it called Corporate Image? Well apparently when it first opened up way back in the day the people that came there were all business men in suits that had just gotten off work. It has changed hands a bunch of times(including an ownership by a former Dallas Cowboy at one time) but the name still remains the same. And the décor it appears. This is the kind of bar where the people are regulars. Where the bartender will tell you to «Shut up!» if you don’t say please when you order your drink. The kind of bar where people yell greetings across the room. The kind of bar that will have you laughing and introducing yourself to everyone. It had everything I love in a bar except that it isn’t next door to my house… but it damn well should be. Love this place, check it out if you are in the area!
