When I write reviews, I like to reflect on both the good and the bad… first, the good. The location is great. The complex is located just 15 minutes from West 7th and 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. There is also plenty of parking. Unfortunately, this is where the good aspects stop. Like the previous reviewer, I have also lived in this complex for several years. The fitness room has been unusable since February 2013 and the pools are rarely open, even in the summer months. It’s currently June and the pools have been open for a total of three days this year. There are several laundry facilities on the grounds, but each laundry room is old and covered in grime. I stopped using the laundry facilities last year after I left some of my clothes in the washer for an hour and came back to an empty washer… I am not sure who would want to steal my clothes, but I hope they at least enjoyed them as most of them were newer(this was right after Christmas). In addition to unusable facilities, the apartments themselves are old and run down. My dishwasher, oven and sinks were likely placed in the apartment in the late 80’s. The sinks leak repetitively and the pipes are so old that every few times I turn the water on in the tub, black-tinged water comes out for the first 20 seconds. When I moved in, the brown carpet had several stains despite the office staff insisting that the carpet was new. Due to the old piping and poor quality shower, mold grows in the shower. When I asked for the mold to be removed, the maintenance guy simply painted over the mold. I routinely fill out maintenance requests for things that just«break» in the apartment due to overuse and the age of the object. Many times the maintenance staff«fixes“these items by painting over sink bottoms and rotted wood. Last year the A/C broke three separate times. This is NOT because I was pushing it too hard– in the summer, I keep the apartment at 78 degrees(which cost me over $ 150 per month because the apartments are so poorly insulated). Each time the A/C ceased working, it took the maintenance at least 8 – 24 hours to get it fixed. In one instance, it took over 4 days. Only after it stopped working for the third time they mentioned replacing it. The office staff tends to generally polite, but there are several members that are routinely crass and rude. They do not appreciate individuals calling the office regarding maintenance calls or other matters. Since a recent storm knocked out the power in my building, I called the office 15 hours after the power went out to check on the status of the repairs. The woman that answered the phone was extremely inpatient and rude, telling me that it was my job to figure out when the power would be back on because«it is(my) apartment and(my) problem». I completely understand that some things are out of their hands, but the way she handled the situation was completely uncalled for. Unfortunately there are several more items on my list of grievances, but for the purpose of this review, anyone reading it will get the gist of my essay. I have a few more months on my lease and everyday I regret signing my lease. The consequences for breaking the lease is $ 2,000+, or else I would be out of there in a heartbeat. Please, for your own sake, do not even consider renting an apartment in this complex.

Don’t bother. I’ve been here a few years and ONLY stay here because I get a discount. Fitness room has been broken since at LEAST2013, and on their website is quoted as «state of the art». Things are run down, carpet’s terrible even when you move in, and now… oh yes, the maintenance… No AC past hours? No problem, call the emergency maintenance if it’s over 80 degrees outside. It’s 86 right now… It’s been over 2 hours since I’ve called with not even an acknowledgement. One star.
