DaVi Nails

Went in for appointment on Tuesday at 12 Noon — apt made 2 weeks ago, in person — the woman argued with me that my appointment was for Friday instead of Tuesday. I blew it off and said fine, Friday at 11 worked better for me anyway. DaVi did not have anything but clear or dark pink for American manicure so I bought the nude powder color that I wanted and brought it on Friday. I walked in at 10:45 am — the man and the pedicure lady were the only ones there besides the owner’s college-​aged sons. The man motioned me to a station and said Tracy was on her way and then they just «forgot» me. Tracy finally got there, in a rush, around 11:05…no apology or anything and just went in the back with her sons until about 11:08 and then came out — did NOT offer to do the pedicure WHILE she soaked off the remainder of my overlay… and in fact, completely forgot about my pedicure. Six (6) other women and one (1) man cam in AFTER I did… and I had an 11:00 appointment. An older lady (regular) came in and Tracy just left me sitting at that station from 11:15 — 11:50 while she performed services for an older woman (apparently a regular) who walked in about 5^th in line AFTER I was sitting there — nobody offered water, coke, wine… nothing. Tracy is a very busy person — but that is no excuse for disrespecting my time… I was the LAST person there and Tracy rushed through with me and got me out of there as fast as she could (12:50): I had been there for 2 hours and 5 minutes while SIX other people were served with manicures, gel nails, and pedicures while I just sat there. No attempt at an apology for the poor service and forgetfulness was ever made and because the woman is overworked and understaffed and dealing with family issues… she hadn’t eaten and was trying to get rid of me so she could eat… additionally, they took in two other women and another man while I was just left sitting. One more thing, the sones came in and distracted her from doing my nails, twice, and another woman came in and caused Tracy to put a nick in one of my nails by continuing conversation WHILE Tracy was working on me and then Tracy left me AGAIN and went to the counter to give the rude woman a card. The real clincher was when Tracy told the rude woman that she had an appointment with another client at 1:00 and that she had told the woman she would do her at 1:00 pm — what happened to MY appointment. Apparently, she doesn’t want my business because she failed to keep two appointments with me, neglected my services to provide for 6 others, and just generally was not paying attention to what I asked her to do PLUS in her agitation at all the commotion she was rough with my nails even after I asked her to take it easy. I don’t mind paying for good service but I resent being short-​changed and taken for granted just because I am a nice person.
I was also charged for a full set and take-​off even though I paid $ 60 for the powders and provided them. I had hoped that I could make this place my regular one because of the location but I will not be back to pay people to provide rude, thoughtless, and poor customer service.

i am so happy i went here, and im sorry ive been driving across town all this time! the staff is very, very nice, and their work is excellent. never had a better experience in a salon. ill definitely be back.
