Echo Lake Park

This park is very dirty and it really isn’t safe when the sun goes down. Not good idea to go on late hours people have been robbed and beat up. The only reason I go to this park is to fish. Yes the lake is very dirty people don’t take good care of the lake. But there is fish in the lake turtles as well. If you go fishing here I recommend catch and release because the water is very polluted and is dirty ! I have caught plenty of blue gil and bass. You

What a dump and I do mean dump. Trash everywhere. In the lake, around the lake, in the park. This was my worst experience fishing ever. There are actually shopping carts dumped in the water that turtles bask on. I saw no living fish in the water just garbage. I saw one male and one female get arrested after they got out of a parked car at the officers request. They could clean this place up if someone did there job. Where are the health and safety inspectors? Do they just come out, say this place is trashed and then not schedule someone to clean it up? This is an outrage and ecological disaster that the City of Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for. Get a bag and a kayak and clean this place up. 1-​star.
