WOW! From the minute we walked in the door we were warmly greeted! A michelada and queso started out a fantastic Meal! Chips were warm with two different salsas. Ten the Ceviche Tostada… holy cow!!! Deliciousness times 1000… followed by the highly recommended El Patio Camarones. The Shrimp was perfect and tasty, the rice was light and fluffy. Under all of that was perfectly sautéed fresh veggies… all were prepared perfectly! The owner brought us a taste of their freshly made margaritas… WOW! Can’t wait to come back! And the service… impeccable! We expected to pay a lot more for a dinner like this!

I’m from the North, so when it comes to good Mexican food I’m pretty much an idiot. I know almost nothing about it, mostly because the options up here are pretty limited 90% of the time. So, as I was visiting my friend, she was ever-determined to introduce me to legit Mexican food. Now, from what I understand, the more tiny and hole-in-the-wall a place is, the better the food. This place is not the tiniest in the world, but it is in a weird location away from everything in Fort Worth. We arrived just as they were closing, but they graciously let us in and gave us margaritas. We placed our orders pretty quickly, feeling bad, and proceeded to dig into the chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were fantastic though the chips weren’t warmed, which is probably more to do with us walking in at closing time. :\ I ordered the queso enchiladas, which came with refried beans and rice. It looked like something a mom would have cooked at home, tbh. And it was so frickin’ good. There was so much flavor! In that moment, I realized most of the«Mexican» food up north is made with far less seasoning than it should be, and I was sad for my past self. I also finally understood why so many people view Mexican as comfort food. It actually is comfort food! This place is worth battling the construction, absolutely.

The food here is wonderful. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The service is spectacular. The owner spoke with my dad and I for a long time. He also paid special attention to my 9 month old son. Don’t let the location of this place fool you, it is well worth the stop!

Excellent service… cute little place. Brand new and delicious! We have been here a few times and the staff is very hospitable. The food is fresh and good. The place is spotless and new. I’ve tried the fajitas the El patio dip with fresh guacamole and the chicken enchiladas. The rice is fresh and homemade.

Went opening night. Food was impeccable. Ceviche was the best since I was in Veracruz. This is my new favorite restaurant in Fort Worth. I cannot wait for the Menudo and Posole. Great atmosphere with great options.
