Embassy Suites Fort Worth – Downtown

Embassy Suites Fort Worth room 1012 — my stay was fine — not outstanding, not bad, just okay.
My room was a corner unit but the bedroom wall shared a wall with the neighboring room. This wall is extremely thin. I could hear the creaking of the person getting in and out of bed and then he/​she started banging or knocking something. Then when he/​she sneezed, it sounded as it they were next to me. I ended up sleeping half the night on the couch in the sitting area. Later the same night, there were drunks coming home at 2:30 am and passing out half in the hallway and half in their room. I had to have words with them to be quiet. Drunks aren’t something the hotel has control over but nonetheless I don’t like loud people waking me up.
The breakfast and evening reception was nice. You have some good choices for breakfast. The made to order omelette was delicious. For the evening reception, free booze is always a plus. Snacks were scarce.
The valet and bellman could be a little more coordinated as I ordered a bellman from the front desk. When I went downstairs to check out, the bellman was standing around outside. My mom had been waiting for him to get our luggage upstairs. Then I had to get another guy to retrieve the car as that had not been done.
The front desk staff was friendly. They were new and therefore not really helpful with offering recommendations for restaurants nearby but they were courteous.

Wife and I stayed here for 20^th anniversary… it was fantastic ! From the valet to the the cleaning crew, everyone was incredibly nice and very helpful. Room service was excellent and I highly recommend taking advantage of some terrific food. Room was very relaxing with a wonderful view and the beds incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was awesome, Thai Tinas was excellent as well. Great Staff all around, We were treated like Royalty… can’t wait to revisit !

This hotel is top notch! The experience is far above any expectation from the second you pull up to valet. Our valet guy was so friendly and even offered me a drink while I waited. He even placed my Starbucks order for us while we settled into our room, and wouldn’t even let us pay for it. Super ecstatic to see a Starbucks at the hotel and a great snack area stocked with Ben and Jerry’s and tons of yummy snacks. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. Very large and clean room and an indoor pool with hot tub. The location of the Embassy is right in the heart of downtown so you can walk to multiple restaurants, shops and clubs. This hotel has several restaurants right inside the hotel as well. By far one of the best places we have stayed in a while. This will be our new Fort Worth hotel pick!

Overall the experience was a good one. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was very nice.
The 5^th star fell off due to breakfast. I know it’s a free breakfast — we ate from the buffet — but if this is going to be an advertised part of the stay it needs to be much better. The «fried potatoes» are obviously frozen and were as hard as a rock. Eggs were marginal at best.
I know you don’t pick a hotel for the free breakfast but this needs work.
We would stay there again — but likely eat elsewhere. :)

Love this hotel, the room it’s self is pretty good size for being a downtown hotel, we got a king corner room, with a sectional for our couch. It was our anniversary so they sent up strawberries dipped in chocolate without us asking for them, the breakfast was amazing with full buffet and cooked to order, omelettes & pancakes. They have the best fried potatoes! They have an evening reception with complimentary drinks non-​alcoholic and alcoholic, I got a margarita it was soooo good, they also had free chips and salsa, cheese and crackers and a veggie tray. It’s close to all the best restaurants and The bass hall, substance square, we walked everywhere! I absolutely loved my stay, my husband did too, we would def stay there again. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because the the jacuzzi jets weren’t very bubbly and the pool is kinda small, but it is a downtown hotel so things have to be smaller, but it is indoor so it’s open all year round. Overall excellent stay, and the staff is the best and they have a restaurant, bar and café with Starbucks on site in the lobby!

Just want to say that this is an EXCELLENT hotel… we normally stay at the Courtyard Blackstone right next door but decided to stay here this year… MUCH bigger rooms then the Courtyard and This Embassy Suites has a GREAT layout for Breakfast!!!
If you get a chance to choose your room, I highly recommend choosing a VERY high floor and one that is AWAY from the outside wall near the roads and NOISE. I had a 2^nd floor corner room, LOVED the room, very spacious BUT. ALL night I could hear traffic… I almost thought that the windows were actually open. Of course my room was right about the entrance of the hotel where there was a lot of traffic but I really didn’t expect it to be so LOUD!!! Most Hotels that I have stayed in that were downtown in large cities have THICK sound proof glass. This hotel doesn’t have that luxury which made my night a living HELL.
There is NO parking on site so unless you want to walk a couple of blocks to the closest Parking Lot, you have to use their Valet parking ($ 22+tax /​Night)
The Staff was AWESOME!!! Very friend and professional Staff from the Front receptionist to the Valet and even the Starbucks Café personnel were always friendly and helpful.
PRO: Spacious rooms, GREAT FREE Breakfast and Managers Special at night.
CONS: Noisy Streets thin windows, Valet Parking only est $ 25/​night

I gave it 5 stars based on the breakfast and cookies alone! Pricey but definitely worth it if comfort is what you value. Parking on the street is free on weekends in downtown Fort Worth (It begins Friday after 6pm) so you can forgo the expensive Valet parking garage. The rooms and facilities are clean. Once again, make sure you get breakfast! The chef is a very nice guy who will make you a killer omelet. You’ll enjoy your stay.

Honestly, I need more stars for Claudia and the rest of the staff at Embassy Suites in Fort Worth. Great people/​great customer service from the 1^st 5 min pulling up to the valet, to the house keeper. My girlfriend and I had only been here for 2 hours and we already feel so welcomed. We live in Dallas, only here for one night for a mini get away for my birthday, very thankful for this wonderful hotel and the staff. Oh and the room is wonderful! Can’t say enough!

Had a company retreat based out of this hotel — was excited to learn it was an Embassy Suites as I often stay at these and am never disappointed — until now. Staff were brusque and unaccommodating, rooms were extremely noisy, water pressure in the shower almost made me jump around to stay wet. Breakfast room was poorly lighted and arranged and there was no help in there at all if you had a question or needed assistance. AND I’m a gold HiltonHonors member and they completely ignored my requests and perks — what’s the good in being loyal if they don’t treat you a little bit better than the average joe? Anyway — much better accommodations in Ft Worth — won’t be here again.

You can find that here from the hotel staff, everyone is super accommodating and sweet! If you are looking for a modern/​updated hotel, it’s not that, but the staff and amenities offered more than makes up for it.

My room was pretty spacious. I had a work desk, fridge, microwave, and two TVs. Also, it is walking distance from Sundance Square. Regular HH is from 12pm-​5pm everyday, including weekends! HH includes a killer Bloody Mary for 5 bucks. I have had $ 13 Bloody Marys all over SF and still it is no match for ES’s Bloody Marys. The only downside for staying here is the $ 22 valet. Given that I have paid $ 30+ at other hotels, that had little to no offerings like ES, I don’t mind paying the valet in the least.
All in all, if I am ever in the area again, I’ll be staying at ES next time for sure!

Stayed here for one night for my bachelorette party. The only parking option they have is to valet your car. When I went to check out the next day, handed the valet my ticket, they could not find my keys in their key box. They finally went to the garage and confirmed that my car was there, they just lost the keys to it. They questioned me and asked me to search through my belongings after I told them I specifically told the valet they’re in the cupholder when I got out because it is keyless start.
They were out of ideas of how to help me and all they kept saying was it will turn up, its probably in one of the valets pockets from yesterday. They told me this continually like it was not big deal, this happens all the time. Luckily I was only an hour away from home and not from out of town so I was able to have someone bring my spare key.
They called that afternoon to let me know one of the other guests found my key in their car and turned it in!!!
The manager was not working that day and I have called multiple times to try to speak with him about this but he does not return messages. Worst experience ever and so glad it was not the keys of any of the other 6 cars from our group we had parked there that were all from out of town!

Embassy suits was a fabulous place to stay! The staff is awesome and super helpful. The made to order breakfast is fantastic. The gym and pool area are so nice! They have a Starbucks in the hotel. Our train doesn’t leave until Friday and after we check out they’re even going to hold our bags for us. The hotel is in perfect walking distance to several fun things to do in FT worth. I highly recommend this place.

This particular location doesn’t have an atrium and we did not have a view from our room, but it is still a quality place to stay. We could not hear any other guests while in our room, the bed was comfy, and the Valet gentlemen were consistently friendly and prompt.
The location is prime, and is walking distance to a variety of fantastic bars/​restaurants/​sites including the Flying Saucer, Del Frisco’s Grille, Taverna ($ 1 mimosas at brunch!), Sundance Square, Bass Hall, and the FW Water Gardens.
My favorite part of Embassy is the complimentary Manager’s Reception (Happy Hour) every evening. A full bar is available, no limit to number of drinks, and a spread of homemade snacks (tortilla chips, salsa, pita chips, hummus, veggies, ranch, etc). The bartender was friendly and courteous, and he made the BEST Passion Fruit Guava Margaritas!

I’ve stayed here several times for work. The Embassy suites is centrally located in downtown Fort Worth. There are many restaurants nearby and Sundance Square is only three blocks away. It’s hard to get much better location wise for Fort Worth.
The rooms are very spacious and actually larger than my studio apartment back in New York City. The décor is nothing to pretty vanilla but it gets the job done. My favorite thing about the Embassy suites is the complementary breakfast and the managers reception a.k.a. happy hour each evening until 7pm. At happy hour the serve up well drinks, beer and wine along with bar snacks. The managers lounge is a very relaxing place to wind down after a hard days work.
The gym is pretty standard here and I wish the pool was outdoors but the Jacuzzi is quite relaxing. Overall this is a pretty good spot to stay while in Fort Worth for business or pleasure.

I have stayed here a few times and been satisfied with the service. The desk help is friendly but sometimes they seem a little distracted with paperwork or other stuff in the back office off to the side on reception. One very good thing is that they do a great job quickly connecting to the valet to get your car pulled up very quickly. The hotel has an excellent location, right in downtown Fort Worth, making it a short walk to restaurants and bars.
There is a mini-​Starbucks type coffee shop in the lobby as well as a Thai restaurant. Like all Embassy Suites, they serve free breakfast. For a free breakfast, it is pretty good. They have fresh fruit, cereal, bread as well as a chef making omelets.
The rooms here are pretty typical Embassy Suites as well. The rooms are always neat and clean. I have never had a problem with the heat /​AC either.

The staff is extremely nice and helpful. However, the two room suite was a disappointment. We are a family of four… the sofa bed is very small, and the two room suite is extremely small. There is only one bathroom and the vanity sink is inside the bedroom, next to the bed. The toilet area is very small with a tub. It is difficult to close the door when you walk into the toilet area because the door almost touches the toilet. You have to walk through the bedroom to get to the vanity or, toilet area. There isn’t much separation between rooms.
The hotel is old and this is probably why the rooms are so small. I called the front desk to see if they had a larger suite and they said ours was the largest..

Phenomenal service! The staff was very friendly and provided us with excellent recommendations on places to visit. They always had a smile and greated us whenever we entered or leaving. Our car was always ready for us too.
The rooms are large, the hotel is inexpensive and very clean. The breakfast had a lot of great options — made to order omelettes, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, grits, etc. The gym was also a decent size and was open 24 hours. The location is right in the heart of dowtown near Sundance Square. I hope to stay here again on my next visit.

Stayed here the night of the Bob Newhart show during the wonderful ice strom. Wasn’t planning on an overnight stay but after taking 4.5 hours to get here from Mesquite I wasn’t looking forward to the drive home.
The staff were all courteous and very helpful. The valet guys went the extra mile. They helped a couple of motorists get there cars moving when they got stuck by offering to push. They also were keeping abreast of road closures and conditions on on the highways in the area. Great job!
The front desk staff were also very nice and gave us a discount as we were stuck and not planning an overnight.
Managers reception that night and breakfast the next morning were both well done and the staff were again very cordial and helpful.
Why would I only give this place three stars then? The room itself. The layout of the room was fine and the bed was comfy-​but I don’t know if there was a weird plumbing problem, or what, but everytime someone upstairs flushed or used a sink it was louder than when we flushed our own. It was quite loud and kept us up most of the night (the people upstairs had bladders the size of walnuts. They were flushing every 20 minutes or so.)
A second problem was the Thai restaurant in the hotel lobby. We thought a bite from there would be the perfect way to close the night. They had patrons inside and it was still two hours before the posted closing time. When we went to get a table we were told they were closed. I understand during the storm things may have happened, but when I told the front desk, just so they could be aware and suggest maybe posting a sign so no one else would get their hopes up– I was told that they have no control over the restaurant as the space is leased. This really surprised me. I understand that the space may be leased but it is in your lobby and, I feel, it reflects poorly on your hotel when a situation like this arises. I would think they could have talked to the manager of the restaurant to at aleast find out what was going on.
Will I gvie this place another shot-​probably. I think that the problems we had are easily fixable and that the vast majority of this establishment merit another stay.
