Express PC Repair

I am 52 years old and this by far was the worst experience I have ever encountered. The place seems to be run by a bunch of crack heads! I have never seen anything like it before. They didn’t fix my computer and had to take it back. I kept calling and calling to see if it was fixed. I got the run around every time I called. When I talked to the owner Mike, I got the impression that my computer was in pieces and they couldn’t put it back together. I was told that he had a family emergency and had to be gone several times by his workers. Being that the computer was really old and I originally didn’t want to put much money into it… I decided that if he’d just give me the money back that I spent he could just keep the damn thing. I felt like I’d be doing good if I at least got that. He agreed but it took a week of constant badgering. Every time my husband went up to collect the money, Mike had conveniently been to busy to run to the bank and get the money. REALLY??? What business isn’t equipped to give a refund to a customer right there in the store??? Ones that spend all there money on crack as soon as they get it!!! My husband finally went up there 5 times in one day and the employees basically pulled the money out of their pockets so we’d go away. It was totally insane!!! PLEASE DON’T TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

I feel that it should be known that this place is under new management. The new owner inherited a real mess.
In my case, The original owner had stolen half my PC parts, and basically blew me off for months. The new owner (also named Mike) has since replaced the parts, and added a few new ones to upgrade the machine. Though its been a long road, and hopefully in a few days I will actually get my computer back, they have gone above and beyond what I expected when they inherited this mess.
I encourage people to give the new management a chance to earn your trust. Josh the tech how has helped me, has been great. they take all my calls and let me tell you at first that was probably difficult to do as I was not very happy, they have been honest and forthcoming about the problems they faced, replacing the parts and adding the upgrades on their dime when starting out was a difficult decision for them to do but they did it anyway.
The original ownership group was terrible, but again, it is worth a try for people looking for an honest team of techs.

Laser assembly replacement $ 129.99? its a simple $ 50 – 70 FOR A NEW DRIVE
Yellow light of death $ 100.00? WTF? ABOUT AVERAGE BUT STILL HIGH
THERE WILL BE A $ 30.00 FEE FOR ANY UNSUCCESSFUL REPAIR FOR OUR LABOR
$ 30 FEE TO TRY AND REPAIR A SYSTEM EVEN IF ITS TOTAL LOST? HELL NO! THATS ROBBERY AT ITS BEST! ARE YOU SERIOUS?
I hate to see what prices you charge to do repairs on PC’s and Laptop because thats just wrong on those kind of prices its about a 40 to 90% profit and over charge you are doing man! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?

I took my computer into this establishment to have a video problem fixed on my computer. They said that i had a damaged video card. They said they repaired it and cleaned out the dust. I paid $ 150. When I got it home it wasn;t working. I took it back and I heard nothing for ten days. When they called me they said nothing could be done and charged me another $ 50 because the 30 day warranty expired during that ten days. Today my brother n law looked at it and said there was still a large amount of dust and no work done except a few little program add ons like google chrome. we went to a local computer establishment and bought a new video card for $ 45 bucks. He installed it for me and the computer works fine. Stay away from this store. They are scammers.
