Great Shop, the braids are awesome and the braiders are friendly. I have been going here over a year. I always get complements on my hair when this shop does it.

I called this place and made a 11:00 appointment. I was told that 11:00 would be fine. I arrived the next day at 11:00. The shop owner had one customer. There wasn’t anyone else in the dark salon. I was told to have a seat. I sat for some time as the shop owner appeared to be working on a «weave» that would obviously take hours! Did she really think I wanted to sit in that cold, dark room watching her put fake hair in someone’s head? She just ignored me. She never set a time expectation for the completion of the other customer. She literally never said another word to me as I sat. All I can say is: rude, unprofessional, and I’ll never go back. I simply left without saying anything. This seems to be the norm in Black hair salons but the inability to properly schedule appointments is unacceptable.

I’ve had my braids done here a couple times and they turned out great. The staff is nice and I usually leave my stylist a tip. Its also nice to find a black salon that doesn’t look like a dump. My only issue is that they are loud! They constantly talk among them selves or are on the phone which doesn’t bother me unless your right behind my head!
