You get what you pay for. I’ve tried several dance studios in the past few years, and Fred Astaire is the fastest way to improve ballroom dancing imo.
Teachers were all great and well-trained. I feel that they are also better at leading students on the dance floor compared to DanceMasters’ teachers (I went to their practice party). The high quality, along with price tag, is reflected in the great teacher-to-student ratio and the weekly private lessons I got. The private lessons no doubt were the key to my improvement.
The student group comprised of mostly elder folks, and the practice party is definitely worth the time.
