I like Freebirds. I’m a card carrying member. This is my first and last time visiting this particular location. With the exception of the individual who rang up our order the vibe behind the counter was, we don’t like the job, we don’t like you, we’re here for the check. Maybe it was just that particular night and those particular people. I don’t know. I was introduced to Freebirds at the Lewisville location and the food and service is always awesome every single time. Clearly, I’m spoiled. I expect cool people at all of them. Back to that card I carry, the cashier didn’t ask about it so we could get the points, I had to bring it up. The food was good. We did enjoy the burritos and nachos. There’s a ton of other restaurants in that particular area and next time I’m over that way I’ll be visiting one of those.

Love this place! It is so hip and fun! I tried the hybird burrito today, not my norm. It is delicious! I had mine with Spanish rice, pinto beans, carnitas, mixed cheese and sour cream. The food quality is really great, and you pay for that with the prices. It is a little expensive but so worth it. The employees are extremely friendly and you can tell they love their job. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Best food in 76132!!! Fanatics card is legitimate. staff are hard working and knowledgeable. They all exhibit a tree hugging stoner-esc aura but if you can endure that then you are in store for a delicious meal, every time! My only complaint is that they close too early. Remaining open until 10 pm would be preferred. I love their food and recommend to all !!

Service was poor. Sub standard to Freebirds procedures. I was forced to buy a drink that I didn’t ask for. Won’t be back.

I really like Freebirds way better than Chipotle. It’s full of characters. Hipsters and tatted up kids with gauges that reach their collar bones. Okay, exaggeration. The staff is pretty friendly and will talk to you and carry on a conversation through your whole meal practically. Everytime I come here, I walk out with an incredible urge to go get another tattoo. lol I love that they have grassfed beef and all natural chicken. I like the cayenne pepper burrito. I like their salads and their bowls. Just for some reason, It hurts my stomach… every time. No matter what I eat, I come out with a stomach ache. Plain jane salad with lettuce, meat, and cheese. Stomach ache. My husband loves this place, but my stomach doesn’t for some reason.

I have had great experiences here, and today was super shockingly bad. I got a quesorito which was burned and at the end when they were wrapping it they broke the tortilla and instead of remaking it, they melted more cheese on a tortilla, burned it worse this time, and then proceeded to scrape the burrito contents from the other burrito into the new tortilla. The man working was shaking and scraping the other tortilla to death and still have my contents were stuck in the cheese, mostly all the beans and rice but also some other ingredients as well. So the guy asks if I want some more beans and rice, and I’m thinking, no, I wanted to pay for half a burrito. So he throws in a bit more rice and beans and without so much as an insincere apology, he’s like, «There! Like magic!» After it had taken 12 minutes to get one burrito with absolutely no other customers being helped. So that’s actually not the bad part. I’m half way through my sub-par burrito and I find a huge strip of plastic inside. So reluctantly I took my burrito up, and another guy helping me apologized profusely, but just kind of stared at me. I guess they don’t have a return policy, so I asked if they could fix it. He hesitantly offered to make me a mini version of my burrito, but without the melted cheese, cause that would be extra, since I ate half of the other burrito. The one with the plastic that I waited over ten minutes for. So I got my mini burrito and left before I could say anything more than thank you. Sad, but full.

Not impressive… they charge you for every little detail. $ 1 for sour cream, $ 1.75 for gauc, $ 1 for queso, if you want shredded cheese and queso they charge you for both. Their burritos do have more choices for tortillas, but they were very sticky and got catch all in your teeth. The burrito bowls are pricier and less in them. They barely put anything. Their drink selection is only Pepsi products with only pink lemonade not regular. I don’t drink soda… so being charged $ 2.25 for nasty tea or pink sugar flavorade fake lemonade made one sad panda! For two people for just a burrito, bowl, and 2 drinks $ 27… and still hungry… not worth it. Chipotle you still have my heart.

So, I’m going to preface with saying I love Freebirds! Their food is delish, and I love how many options they have. However, this location is TERRIBLE. Every single time we have gone to this location they have either gotten our order wrong or something was messed up. The first time we went here, we ordered online 2 burritos, guac, and queso with chips. When my husband got home with the food we opened up the bag and all that was in there were 2 lbs of chips. Not exaggerating. He went back and they apologized and gave us our food. The second time we went here, we ordered the same thing as above plus 2 cookies and 2 drinks. Husband checked the bag before he left this time and they didn’t add in the queso, guac, cookies or drinks. Third time they actually got our order right, but there were two hairs in my husband’s burrito. Tonight was the fourth and absolutely last time we will go to this Freebirds location. Husband picked the order up after we ordered online, and the guac we ordered as a side with chips came ON the burritos, the queso we ordered as a large side came as the«revved up» version(which is considerably smaller, so we paid 7 dollars for half the queso) and the rice was freaking CRUNCHY! I am so disappointed with this location, because Freebirds is such a good burrito place and to go to another location will take us 20 minutes instead of the 5 it takes now. We’ve had such horrible service here that I’m looking into calling the corporate Freebirds number and place a complaint. It’s just ridiculous that this place can’t get an order right to save their lives. I really wonder how it’s still open. If the food didn’t actually taste good I’d give this location 1 star. We normally get the food to go on a busy day when we can’t cook, so maybe service is better when you actually eat in the restaurant, but honestly I’m not going to give it another chance.

I ordered a chicken lite burrito bowl. The guy behind the counter was cool, he offered extra beans at no additional cost, so jumped at the chance before he changed his mind. I was charged extra for chips, no salsa, which totaled me out around $ 9. The girl that rung me up had an inner upper lip ring, which I saw when I made a funny comment about the receipt. Boy what hoot…

Only two stars because I love the burritos but this location will rip you off when it comes to fanatic points and other extra costs. 7th street location is better.

I’ve heard some more about Buttitos since I’ve moved here and heard this place was a great place to go. Dropped in for lunch yesterday, and wasn’t too sure what to expect, the interior is great, with a motorcycle suspended form the ceiling with the statue of liberty riding it. They have a wide selection of meats and fillings. Let me just mention that I’m on a low carb diet at the moment for training purposes and this place is a great place to go. It’s quite difficult to find places where you are not super tempeted by fries or bread. I opted for a meat bowl, the server suggested the pulled pork and the ground beef, his recommendation was spot on. topped with cheese, salad and he sliced some fresh avocado over it for me. The meat was so flavoursome, portion was big, and left feeling really full, always a great sign! The staff were excellent, really helpful and polite. OVerall, great chilled out place to hang out, have some good for and a catch up. They also do take away, but much prefer to hang out inside. I’ll definitely be back for more pulled pork!

Not impressed. I agree with the reviewer regarding more foil than meat! They nickel and dime for everything — even water. $ 1.00 for a small solo cup of water? Not happening. The food is just blah for the price.

Repeat customer for 15 years now. I started going to Freebirds back at school in College Station. The quality has remained consistent over time. They used to include tax in the pricing and had everything rounded off to the quarter dollar. That was a nice feature that has faded into history. For 10 bucks you can get a Monster Burrito which mine has around 1200 calories. Eat one of these around 2pm and you can live off 10 dollars a day, which is common for starving students

Super SPUNKY Crew at this location. Very organized and everything seems fresh. Chicky was not dry… plus in my book. They will even double up your rice for you… score! Nutrition facts for those of us who are GF… go with the chicken, the beef is marinated in a wheat base. The bowl is my go to and I am thankful for places like this that are fast, clean, and friendly… but not processed or loaded with sodium and sat fats. Plus you can get points or stars whatever they call them… sometimes they run promos to get extras or double ups… and well… you can eat for free faster :-) Oh and they have a great play list going!

Chipotle, eat your heart out! This place is like the cooler, more enjoyable cousin of the other burrito chain. If you are in the TX vicinity, you should check it out. I was visiting Fort Worth for a business trip and I did some research trying to find good, affordable restaurants near the hotel. This was one of the higher ranked restaurants in the area, so I had to check it out. I walked in and was greeted by a casual, punky sort of décor and a friendly young staff working to rock music in the background. I made my way to the counter and got the gist for how to order when a young girl asked me what I’d like. I got a Monster burrito with half steak and half carnitas(great combo and great quality) in a spinach tortilla(there are four choices), with white rice(two choices), refried beans(two choices), mixed cheese(two choices), grilled onions and peppers, 3 salsas, lettuce, tomato, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I don’t remember in a very large package for ~$ 8. It was at least 1.5 times the size of a stuffed Chipotle burrito, too. So the food was plentiful, good, cheap, and solid quality, but what about the staff? The staff was stellar. They look a little rough around the edges, but they are very friendly, helpful, and(at least while I was eating there) hard working. Two of them were actively cleaning different parts of the restaurant in parallel and were doing a thorough and rigorous job, too. One offered to refill my drink or get me anything else I needed amidst her scrubbing and refilling the ice machine. I’ll be honest, I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience of dining here. It’s a great place to go for a cheap, but very filling, and good quality meal. Come check it out. Summary: Great food, super inexpensive, awesome staff, clean, great music, huge variety of food items. A must check out place for a large meal under $ 10. Lots of parking. I recommend the steak and carnitas in combination. Chipotle dreams of growing up into this chain of restaurants.
