I have been getting my hair done by the same person for 5 years and then I moved and was so scared to get my hair done. My hair stylists was Sam and she was amazing! I cut my hair short and I have gotten so many compliments on it already. Only mishap was to make sure that you tell them exactly what you want done when making the appointment.

I started coming here 5 years ago when I moved to Fort Worth (was referred by a friend). I have since moved to suburbia, and I still continue to come back. I have had partial highlights, full highlights, cuts, and multiple sets/​styles of extensions. Amanda and Edward are awesome. Prices are reasonable and similar to competitors.

New to the state and dreaded having to find a new stylist! I found this salon on Unilocal and knew I had to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. Bethany was amazing, sweet as can be and I Love my color and cut! Best haircut I’ve had in awhile! So glad I found her! Looking forward to my next appointment already!

I found this place on Unilocal and I chose it based on reviews. The only thing that kind of bummed me out is that I didn’t know you had to book exactly everything you wanted when you make the appointment. Explanation– I made an appointment for all over color. When I got here the stylist asked me if I wanted a blow dry as well. I said yes and she said she would book it and someone else would be doing it. So that was sort of awkward. Next time I know I’ll have to say I want all-​over color, a cut, and a blowdry so that I can stick with my stylist. Other than that, this place is great. When I got there they gave me a tour of the salon, offered me a beverage, and then I met my stylist. She was very friendly, helped me pick a great color, and did a great job. I’ll be back!

I really love this place… Edward is Amazing. He is so patient with me and all my questions and «oh i saw this color on pintrest». He always gracefully is able to steer me toward what looks best for me. He is also very friendly but doesn’t force conversation. I always get compliments after he does my hair. Not just that day but for weeks. (I did have it cut about 4 hours ago and have recieved no fewer than 5 compliments on my hair from strangers stopping me while out running errands) I did have one incident where I gave bad direction and insisted I knew what I wanted and the color didn’t turn out how I had hoped. Goldwaves staff was so incredibly sweet and immediately got me scheduled and corrected it. I have tried a few of the girls and they are Ok but if you want amazing color and/​or a cut Edward is the person to see.

Recommend by niece, Debra Reynolds. Mollie is awesome! Master and artist in hair cuts. Personable, courteous and really listens to what you want. I, also, can recommend her without reservation. Pricier than I’m used to paying, but worth walking out of salon with a hairstyle instead of hair cut.

I’ve had a trim, a major haircut, and highlights all done by Brittany! She’s awesome. She takes her time to make sure your hair is perfect and is a super nice person! Everyone there is helpful and makes you feel pampered!

The warm and relaxed atmosphere is what drew me to Goldwaves, but Brittany and the rest of the friendly staff are what keep me coming back! I’ve never been so happy with my hair as I am with Brittany as my stylist. I feel like I barely need to describe what I want and she nails it. The last time I was in, I was her last appointment of a very long day and she was still so friendly and upbeat, not to mention gave me my favorite cut and color so far. :)

I came in to get a pixie haircut and Edward was my stylist great guy! Am not a very talkative person so he wasn’t pushy on trying to keep a conversation going which for me was great made me feel very comfortable (: the place looks very nice and they use very good products. Only down side was that I left with a lot of hairs on my face and neck I had to try and take them all off in my car other than that I had a very pleasurable experience and will be returning

Sweet front desk staff! Elizabeth is amazing! She does great color, cut and blow outs. She has had the best recommendations for me when I’m not sure what to do! I love their line of Oribe products for my curly hair too. All stylists are well trained and you will be in good hands no matter what. That’s not a plug… I’ve just never had a bad experience with a stylist there and have been going there for years. When I can’t see Elizabeth, Christopher, Joanna, and Edward are also amazing! If you can, talk to Cherissa about her special blends of essential oils and she’s also a really skilled esthetician and make up artist. Great selection of Kneipp bath and body stuff.

I’ve been three times now and the staff is very friendly. My last experience has been my favorite thus far, so I just had to write a review. Brittany was very attentive to what I was comfortable with, ie: keeping my hair as long as possible while still getting rid of all those nasty split ends. I also like when a stylist really takes their time and doesn’t seem to be rushing to see the next customer. I even got a couple free samples of the hair masques they use which she recommended to keep my hair healthy. Pretty sweet! I’ll definitely be booking my next hair appointment with her.

good and bad. i was super excited as all the reviews were 5 stars. needed a roots touch up and a trim. because of the last minute appointment they accomadated me by using two people, one for color and one for cut/​style, which was very great customer service. then i went in, first had my touch up– my hair is lightened and my roots were grown out as well as grays. I asked her to blend, NOT darken, but toning was ok. the tone was ok on the rest of the hair but she applied dark color on my roots only. Soo very not what I wanted, still have the dark strip of roots showing (horrible) BUT greys are gone. theres that. Sylist Britney, the girl that cut and styled my hair WAS AMAZING! I love my cut. I am super picky on who cuts my high maintenance hair and she was BRILLIANT.

I was referred to this salon by a friend, and Jessica was fantastic. The whole salon has a great vibe and she was able to fix the layering disaster on the back of my head from my last haircut in Austin. They have a rewards points system, so my friend got a reward for referring me and I got one as well for prebooking my next appointment. I’d call that a win-​win!

Goldwaves knows great customer service. They have it down to an art. The team is always striving to improve their skills. They have a very aggressive training program in place to make sure that you are always getting only the latest and best techniques. I am excited that they have launched an awesome hair extension program! As with everything they do it is a well thought out process. I am a huge fan of what they do. Keep up the good work ladies (and gentlemen). :)

Best salon. All of the staff is super friendly– very accommodating! I’ve used 3 different stylists here and loved all of their work. The space is very cute– it’s a renovated house tucked just off camp bowie. Parking can be tricky sometimes– but not too bad if you don’t mind parking down a side street. I send everyone I can here. Plus they carry Bumble & Bumble products so my hair always smells great when I leave.
