Such a yummy treat. The flavors go beyond the typical and don’t disappoint. Wookie’s Cookie was especially delicious.

So glad we stumbled upon this place! A regular cup with 2 scoops of banana pudding was the best $ 4 I’ve spent in awhile. I’ve never had anything like it in frozen form — chunks of nilla wafers with smooth and rich ice cream made every taste bud happy. I’d come back just to get another lick of this flavor! The store itself is adorable. It looks like Easter or spring, haha. Very pastel and cutesy and reminiscent of an old school ice cream parlor. There are plenty of tables and cosy nooks, and they have an awesome porch with outdoor seating as well. Curious to try their donut ice cream sandwich, but it may only be available on the weekend.

We recently used Gypsy Scoops for a company party and can’t say enough good things about them. Easy to work with, professional, reliable and the BEST ice cream I’ve ever had.

This place was amazing! Who ever thought of putting ice cream between a donut is a genius! Best ice cream ever! And the atmosphere was so cute! I will highly recommend this to all my fellow foodies! It’s definitely a hidden gem!

Very hole in the wall place. Almost drove past it while looking for it. Had quite the amount of flavors to choose from. Very nice theme and color setting. I got just the plain ol texas praline and was not disappointed. I inhaled it as I do with many of my ice cream. My girlfriend got mint chocolate and mocha which were really good. Would have to come back and try more flavors!

Owner Julie is a gem. She has created a fun, friendly spot where you can treat yourself to a scoop(or 2) of heaven. So glad she landed in Riverside Arts District.

This place is gooooood! It’s really cute and you can buy little trinket stuff in here. Everything is homemade by hand~ the banana pudding is so good. Chocolate mint taste like Andes~ I usually don’t like mint but it’s good. Overall everything is good. Nothing to complain. Idk what to say, but this place rocks! Too bad there’s not a lot of customers :/

Posted hours don’t seem to matter, very limited times to begin with and then they decided to close early. Drive fifteen minutes to get there and despite saying they were open till nine… Nope they were closed.

This place is a hidden gem. Serious ice cream and fantastic prices. I had the donut special with a small scoop of the Bailey’s ice cream and a small scoop of the Raspberry chocolate ice cream. They took a homemade donut, right out of the oven, split it and put the ice cream in the center, placed the top on, drizzled it with chocolate and caramel and sprinkles for only $ 5. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and board games. They also have coffee!

The best home made ice cream we have ever had! We first went to Melt ice cream and there were like 6 flavors not that great but when we got here to gypsy the ice cream was absolutely delightful! Would HIGHLY recommend coming here!

This place is a hidden gem. The old house is adorable and the décor is precious. It’s very family friendly with classic games on the tables and candies I grew up eating. Interesting, glorious flavors beside equally as perfect standards. We tried the Caramel Coconut Delight(with the Girl Scout Cookie) and Toffee Crunch — both were delish and I wanted to sample them all. By the way, the sweet lady working the counter would have been happy to let us! We can’t wait to go back… daily…

Looks like Melt has some serious competition. Super yum hand-scooped ice cream served inside an adorable wooden bungalow turned parlor on burgeoning Race Street. When we visited there were at least 12 made-from-scratch flavors to choose from. They had me a peppermint, but you are welcome to sample to your heart’s content! Definitely intrigued by their hot cocoa floats and ice cream pies. Loved the framed ice cream scoopers on the wall. I’ll be back!

Gypsy Scoops came out to our building for an ice cream social the company was sponsoring and it was a yummy experience. I had the Bailey’s and it was cold and creamy-would definitely recommend this flavor. My coworkers had the Dreamsicle, Cotton Candy, and Wookies Cookies and they were all in love. Nice, friendly staff, too.
