Kite’s Custom Cleaners

I’ve used Kite’s since 1970 and they are the best. The clothes come out beautifully done and there is never a problem. Their clerks are friendly and helpful. They may charge a little more but they are well worth the price. Definitely Ft Worth’s best cleaners.

This is the worst cleaners I have ever used! After several attempts on many articles of clothing, numerous calls to get cloths cleaned again, I will not go back. My latest item was a pair of cream pants. When I picked them up they had blood stains that were not there when they were dropped off. Yuck! Obviously someone pricked their finger on a pin and left the stains on my cream silk pants. I live about an hour away, this is not a drive I like to make and do not want to go back to have pants re-​cleaned. I called the cleaners to hear the same thing, we are so sorry. Change the way you do business, be responsible!

Over priced and the staff leaves something to be desired. (I think they’re fairly young, not great at customer service.) The location is great; too bad the service doesn’t make it worth returning. I paid nearly $ 40 for two blouses and a pair of slacks. The slacks didn’t even cost that much…

Dropped my stuff there on a Sat at 9am and was told that it would be ready Tues evening (seemed like a long time) and was pleasantly surprised to get an email Mon around 3 that my items were ready. Not sure they have «same day» service but overall experience was very good.

We recently moved into the area and started using Kite’s Cleaners.
The staff was very helpful and professional.
Price was very reasonable, but the quality was so great that I won’t hesitate to make them my new drycleaner.
Thanks to Kite’s Cleaners for making me feel confident when I leave my drycleaning there again.

I guess because Kite’s has been around so long that they feel they can get the prices they charge. Paying a little more for quality is one thing, but their pricing is ridiculous. They actually had the nerve to charge me an extra $ 2.00 because my shirt was an Ike Behar label. In the girl’s words, «it is a high-​end shirt». She gave me no real reason for the extra charge.

Love the ladies that work there. They are awesome!

UPDATE: I received a call yesterday (Wednesday) from the owner of Kite’s cleaners, Gary Kite, who had been out of town and had just heard about the situation. He apologized profusely about the incident and about what I had to go through and said that there will be some retraining going on in all of his locations with his teams. He also said that they would be going over my letter point by point to illustrate what went wrong and how it could have been handled better. He assured me that their policy was not being followed in any way during this incident, that when the dress first had to be redone to get the side pressed open right that there should have not been a charge to me at all from that point forward, let alone that the dress would be in such poor condition when I went to pick it up the 2^nd time. He offered to help me in any way he could, if I needed reimbursement for the repair, etc and he offered that, if I would be willing to allow them to handle my dress again, they would preserve it at no cost after my wedding.
I was extremely satisfied with his response and feel that he will take the necessary steps to retrain his team regarding policy in such matters.
