Imagine if you will, that you live in a small town, a town where everybody knows everybody and a trip to the grocery store is a social experience. That’s what coming to this Kroger feels like. Everyone here is so super friendly. They all smile at you, will comment on the weather, ask you what kind of dog do you have if you are buying dog food etc. My only complaint is that I wish they had more organic vegetables and fruits. They are lacking in that area and most grocery stores these days are upping their organic section. If your normal trip to the grocery store is fast-paced and unsociable, you may be in for a surprise here. Employees almost expect you to converse with them. they will not expect you to be in a hurry. But you can’t be if you want to because there are six self checkout stations.

Why I am no longer boycotting Walmart. I’m at Krogers with a cart full of $ 116 worth of groceries. The only line open for more than 15 items is taking care of a return. There are like five express checkouts open but only one for 15 items or more. I go to one of the express lines that is empty and explain that the other line is doing a return. Now this checker is doing nothing but standing there but she can’t help me cuz I have more than 15 items. So I had to go back and wait for the return to be completed. Plus no offers to help me carry out my groceries. I probably spend $ 500 to $ 600 a month at this store. I shop there even though it is more expense but not anymore. Why should i care when Krogers doesn’t give a damn about me.

They have a new gas station and it is very nice and clean. I love to be able to scan my Kroger’s card, getting the 3 – 10 cents off paying and go! It is never that busy…
