I don’t eat donuts frequently. Mostly because I’m never awake during appropriate donut eating hours. But on the occassion that I do, and I find myself craving something sweet, I stop by Lim’s Donuts. Their donuts aren’t too cakey or heavy but they’re also not the melt on contact type either. I like the texture and they have a pretty large selection of toppings. I’ve heard good things about their cake donuts too, if that’s your sort of thing. Those are a bit heavy for me. If you get there early enough request a freshly made donut and not one sitting in the case. The breakfast burritos and sausage rolls are good too. I like the croissant roll and the breakfast burrito with potato. The bear claw is a monstrous delight, it’s the perfect texture with plenty of apple bits. They open at 4 a.m. and seem to have a steady stream of customers all morning. As far as donut places go, this one is pretty good! If only they served donuts in the afternoon…
