I know its black friday so i was expecting mass chaos and droves of people. However i was pleasantly suprised to find it wasnt crowded. My dad had sent me a photo of exactly what he wanted(this is a rare occurrence) and it was on sale. When i entered the store i tried to find the laser measurer that he wanted… it wasnt long beforw i realized i needed help. This is when Lowes began losing stars. I asked a young man for help and showed him the pic from the sale add. He tlod me go to the front of the store and take a left its in tools. Thats all he said and turned around and walked the other direction. I proceeded to follow the directions given to me and found a lorge tool section but no laser measurer that matched the description. SO I asked another lady she did not actually say anything just turned and started walking. At first I thought she was walking away from me then she looked at me exasperated I hadnt known to follow her. She was also unsuccessful at finding the laser. So she asked a third employee whos response was we probably dont have them you should just order online. Never checking an inventory or anything. Finally an employee checked a computer and saw that they infact had several and helped me locate them. They were on the other side of the store from the original directions. I was very disappointed with Lowes today. I would have been much more understanding had it been swamped or 1 odd ball person but several employees were unhelpful and borderline rude. I was smiling and trying to be as friendly as possible but nothing could win over your employees.

Its always amazes me when I shop at Lowe’s in the fact that I can never get anyone to help me. I see employees but they do thier best to ignore you. This past Thursday was the worse. I spent $ 400 buying flowers and plants and really needed help. 1 guy was watering the cement the cashier on her cell another pushing plants around on a cart another hidding behind a shelf on his cell phone. Finally I loaded 3 large carts with plants pushed them 1 by 1 to the register paid and started to push my carts to my truck no help. finally another customer walked over and helped me to my truck… sad! Will not shop there again.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. If you are lucky enough to even get a person to help you over the phone, they are not capable of resolving any issues. I even tried contacting the Nation Customer Service number and they made me wait on the line while they waited to speak to a person at the store. Almost ONE full month later, no resolution to my problem. Literally called at least 20 times, over 3 hours of phone time and NOTHING.

My sister and I came here for a project I want to complete this summer. I want to sand down my bed and re-stain it. The ladies working the paint area were contradicting. One lady told me to get all these chemicals and products while the other one said no and get all of these… yadda yadda. Overall, they had a good selection of products just be careful when asking for help. Pick someone that looks like they have painted before! ha!

I purchased an exterior back door for my kitchen and a storm door for the front entrance from Lowe’s on Bryant Irvin Road. Lowe’s cut the opening for the«doggie-door» but failed to bring the«doggie-door» to place in the hole they cut. They were to use my existing hardware on the new door, but for some reason they could not make it work. I went to Ace Hardware and purchased a new lock and door knob so they could install while they were there. Lowe’s drove the«doggie-door» to my home so it could be installed in the hole. They get credit for that gesture of kindness. The front door was measured incorrectly and never opened or closed properly. The door latch was located on the strom door where it would not open if the front door was closed. I have since replaced and installed a new door knob where I could open the front door if the storm door was closed. In all fairness to Lowe’s, I did not realize the problem with the storm door not being able to be opened if the front door was closed until three months after the fact when my daughter left to walk her baby and then could not get back inside when she returned. I have lived with the storm door not functioning properly for two years. Last weekend I purchased a new exterior front door(not purchased from Lowe’s). The installer hanging the new door would not rehang my storm door because he said it was not properly fitted for my frame. I am buying a new storm door from a Lowe’s competitor and will return the Lowe’s storm door to the store when I have the use of a truck. I doubt I will get a refund due to the length of time, but they can dispose of the door in whatever manner they wish.

Today was an excellent shopping trip. Very helpful and knowledgeable sales people. Plus if you have served in the military — show your VAID and you get a service discount.

whomp whomp. I’ve been to a few different Lowe’s and this one is not my favorite! I called to check if they had curtains in stock. The ones I found at the ridgemar location are no longer available online. I was put on hold, hung up on, put on hold, transferred to the wrong place. Finally I just went there and yes, they had 2 panels left in stock. Folded up terribly and stuffed back into the packaging from a obvious return. Get it together Lowe’s.

Numerous times the website has claimed to have a product when they do not. Why have a website that tells you if a store has products in if you NEVERUPDATEIT? Even better is when I call this particular store, ask to be sure the product is in, am told they have«plenty in stock» by the store’s employees, only to drive all the way out there(today in the rain) to find — no, no they do NOT have any at all in stock. GRRR. This has happened over and over again at this particular store. So today was the last time I will be shopping at this store. I don’t recommend this store to any shoppers. I do recommend this store hire less lazy employees that actually check on an item before they confirm that it is in stock, as well as a better website. Or perhaps getting rid of the«this item is in stock» option on the website if the company cannot keep it updated… to Home Depot I go…
