I don’t really know who to blame here. It could be that every person in this office has a little bit to do with the constant chaos that has been present my last 2 office visits. Now my first visit was flawless, I was happy I actually got Dr. Maclin to see me on my new patient visit, instead of a nurse practitioner like so many other clinics I have been to. Dr. Maclin was really down to earth and even asked me about me, which is pretty shocking because most doctor’s these days are so preoccupied with something else that they fail to make a connection with patients. So I was told to return 2 weeks later for labs. I returned 2 weeks later, and I was informed by the front desk that they no longer did labs at the office. I really wish that had been communicated to me prior to my visit. I was told I could go to Labcorp and get my labs done there. The confusing part? I don’t even know what the labs where for, and which specific ones I needed. To this day I still don’t know and I have had another visit since then. It seems like there are often miscommunications going on in the office. A simple mistake can cause quite the setback as I witnessed on my last visit. The customer service is pretty awesome though. I like the receptionist Judy and Jaime is very very sweet! Miranda is really patient. I wouldn’t want any of this to look bad on any of them, because I understand how that can be. I think their just needs to be better communication within the office and also with the patients.
