Every time I come to this place at night the service is pretty bad. I have ordered large fries on multiple occasions and they give me medium fries in a large fry box. The morning people are good. Their customer service will make you want to go back. If you can avoid going at night I would definitely go to any of the other fast food places around this area.

I come here out of necessity in the mornings for breakfast. Something I can pick up real quick. This location has messed up my order on several occassions. But it’s McDonalds and I forgive them and still come back. But if I were to casually drive in for take out, I wouldn’t be so pleased. Example. I went through the drive-thru once and ordered an egg white delight meal. I asked no butter spread on my muffin. When I look into my bag, they gave me an egg white delight meal without the muffin. It was egg white and ham in a gravy container. Come on man! :/ I don’t mind the screw ups and I like about everything on the breakfast menu, but come on man.

I only stop here on my drive in to work in the mornings. Sometimes the drive thru line can be really long, like all the way around the building long. That being said, they do a really good job expediting the orders. They’ll usually send someone outside to take orders with a hand held device to speed up the process. Only problem with that is that you have to know what you want to order because you could be parked next to the playground where the menu is nowhere in sight. I don’t know how the service is the rest of the day.

Who knew when I decided to pick up dinner in between my daughters piano lesson to ft worth for the circus for which we had free tickets; that I’d get dinner, a show, and a headache. We were looking for something quick but still something that we could kill about 45 mins at without having to get to far off the highway cause from what I could remember there wasn’t really anything within walking distance of the convention center that wasn’t sit down. We got on the highway and I had forgotten there was a McDonald’s right there if I had stayed on the access road, but knew I had seen this one previously so we opted to not turn around and go to this location, or hope for a burger king or something else with a play area. We ended up going ahead and coming here cause I didn’t want to risk passing it and end up downtown. I didn’t have much trouble getting in there shy of initially missing the beach street entrance; I didn’t see the access road entrance until I left. I was able to make an easy u-turn in the dickeys parking lot. The line for the drive thru was around the building when we got there and was when we left, the parking lot was kind of gross, I nearly stepped on a disregarded pickle when I went to get out of my car. On my daughter’s side, my flip flops stuck to the concrete … making me think that someone dumped or spilled a drink. Should have been a sign to move on or that I should have gone to the McDonald’s an exit or two earlier. From what I could tell the inside wasn’t gag-worthy or anything that made me think it was unsanitary … just looked like they had had some sort of rush so no one had done a mop & sweep in awhile and there were a few tables with cups that had been left behind, those tables and a couple others still needed to be wiped down. I got my first taste of what Eric W mentioned as their interesting clientele as soon as we walked in the door. Most of whom were just interesting to people watch, I noticed a couple of those just sitting around to talk to friends working and a few came in cause their friend was already there; just a lot of interesting people watching. Though the one that made my experience interesting was the one that right when we walked in the door seemed like I guess he thought he knew us or that we’d be his new found friends, and decided to kind of creepy tell me over and over again how beautiful my daughter is and how much Jesus loves us. I will admit I do get the your daughters beautiful /gorgeous/cute from folks I don’t know, but most people say it once, usually after she’s done something silly or her being overly friendly started a conversation with them, not over & over again and not as soon as we walked in the door. They initially only had one register open but a girl who I think was a shift manager saw that I was getting uncomfortable and waved me over to another register. The overly friendly guy who had started talking to us left after he filled up his drink; but just on the caution I kept an extra close eye on my daughter. From what little interaction with the staff I had they were all really nice and I appreciated the«manager» helping me get out of that situation without my having to be rude to the person. The play area was 4 big slides, some video games, and a toddler slide. All looking like great fun, but 5 different kids got hurt on them in the 30 – 45 mins we were there eating and the couple times I let the kiddo go down while her food cooled down & right before we left … from either going down them the wrong way, getting kicked or hit by the next slider, and one girl got shoved by her friend/cousin/sister & ended up sliding down awkwardly because she got shoved with enough force to end up going down the slide prematurely. I really doubt we will be back to this location; not really anything they could do better cause they could do a lot worse … but it was mostly a stop of convenience and there are at least a couple fast food places on route to downtown that I can stop at. Though I take this as a sign for next time, just eat closer to home or go ahead and go for the sit down places.

Mixed results here. Sometimes the food is OK, for a McDonald’s, other times the food is bad(meaning cold), which was the case when the sign for new Spicy McBites tempted me in. I tried them and they were served barely warm. I wish I could resist the temptation for the convenience of McDonald’s, though with each visit it’s getting easier, as the food seems to going downhill. On the plus side this location has an amusing clientale… Perhaps it is the proximity to the Wal-Mart… But there is always entertaining people watching here.

Had a nice little breakfast here the other day. Service was fine, and fairly speedy. This lobby is beautiful, really. It has glass dividing walls, curves everywhere, and trendy walls /fixtures. But…I have two issues with this place. First is how incredibly busy this location is. It’s probably the busiest drive-thru that I’ve seen for a McDonald’s in the metroplex. The cars almost always seem to be wrapped around this place. And second, this location is located on a(usually) very congested part of Beach St. next to a busy Wal-Mart. Now if you want to go west on 121, or go south on Beach St. for a while, you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting out. But for any other direction you will find it difficult to get to where you want to go(and I’m even considering the back way, going behind Wendy’s, Long John Silvers). It’s just unnecessarily difficult for a fast food place(which is suppose to be convenient, right?) So even though I drive by this place almost everyday, I tend to avoid this going in over these two gripes.
