Had an early dinner here and probably won’t be back. Lots of food for a good price but didn’t like the quality. The cheese on the nachos is a cheese sauce and the guacamole doesn’t seem home made. Service was ok.

Atmosphere: Fun and open, because of the open room, it is a little loud. The bar is separate, and small compared to the large dining area. They also have a separate dining area behind another wall, plus they have a area that is for private parties or meetings where you may close the doors. Service: The staff is nice and friendly. They are also busy. I eat more salsa than chips and the little cup was empty more than full. Even though the server was there when the beer mug was empty, he was not there to refill the salsa, so note to self(and you) ask for extra up front. Food: The food here comes out hot. And the salsa is served warm. The fajitas nachos got soggy to fast because of all the cheese, but the meat had a real smoky flavor and was tender. The Habanero Queso, had bits of the chopped chili in it, but because the cheese had its own flavor, it was not hot enough for me. The goat fajitas or Cabrito, had good flavor and the meat was tender. The portions are large so you get your money’s worth. They are not stingy with the tortilla’s like most places. And the beer is served in frosted mugs.

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, and it hasn’t faltered in quality. Great prices for great food. It also holds the record as one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to. Even a former employee would talk about the extra measures taken to make the kitchen spotless!

The problem with the carnitas is they’re so damn good, I’ve never ordered anything else. So, based on the carnitas alone, worthy of a strong 4.

Awesome place. I had the Juarez special dinner of 2 enchiladas, rice, beans and a beef taco. The food was delicious and the restaurant was packed. They serve chips and a warm salsa. It was good but I prefer cold. First time and I will definitely go back.

We stopped off here for a team dinner during my recent visit to Texas. Good selection of Local Beers(we had Lone Star) and the menu had a lot of variety. I opted to have the Beef Fajita’s and I enjoyed it. Our server was very good and had no issues handling our great. Overall it was good experience.

We went there today at 5 pm with a group of 3 the hostess said it be be a few minutes even thou there was a couple of empty tables. Then a group of 4 come in and she seats them immediately I ask the manger what was that and he said oh I don’t know. I like the food but that is some bs. And I won’t be back. Thinking we aint the right color.

I went to eat just after lunch. I ordered quesadilla’s, which were really good. The service was okay for the most part. The only issue that I had was receiving the bill. It took the waitress forever as she was too busy speaking with fellow employees and not focusing on the customer. Other than that, I was pleased.

Was expecting a little more authentic food but it seemed more of a touristy type of place. I had the ceviche and it needed extra lime and salt. There are so many other places in Fort Worth for Mexican food so this place didn’t really stand out if he crowd.

The manager is not the nicest guy at the check out desk. We had two waiters both very hard working, our food was hot, taste wonderful. We had five people with us. Not a complaint in the crowd.

I’ve been going here for years and every time I’m in town I find myself eating here. This is an old fashion tex mex restaurant. The chips and warm salsa are one of favorite things to eat and they keep bringing you more and more! The warm tortillas with butter and hot sauce is another of my favorite things to eat there. I ordered the carne asada medium well and it’s always delicious, I’ve been coming here for years and have never had any bad experiences with the food. The atmosphere is great and if your are from the area then more than likely you will run into someone you know! Also they have mariachi singers on certain nights which is fun if you like them to sing at your table. Their drink specials are awesome, 3.50 for a margarita which you can’t beat! The thing that I dislike about the place is that the lights seem too dim for me, but I have got used to it over the years and my biggest dislike is that you have to pay your tab to the cashier at the front of the restaurant, the waiter will only give you the tab and then you have to stand in line sometimes a long line, specially on the weekends, I have always disliked that. So if your into just a casual dinner with friends and good drinks, great chips and salsa then this place is great to check out

Real talk. The food is terrrrrible. I was almost sick at the smell of the beef fajitas. I feel really bad saying this because the service is always really great. I wouldn’t go here if my family didn’t ask me to meet them for birthday parties… And can we be real? I hate it when restaurants put carrots and peas in Mexican rice. That’s just filler. Eww.

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant in DFW! We love coming here, the food is amazing, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere/view inside the restaurant is cozy and lovely! From the warm salsa to the enchiladas to the steak-they have a HUGE menu and everything is delicious!

Mercado Juarez is located off of I-35 near downtown Fort Worth. It is very easy to miss! I really like Mercado Juarez, but it’s not a place we eat at often. I’ve never had a bad meal here. For some reason it’s forgotten about until you pass the Arlington located along I-20 near the Parks Mall and you’re like«Ohh.Heyyy, Mercado Juarez!». The chips, salsa, and queso are good. The salsa is served warm. The tortillas are made in house. Their service is on point and fast. I’ve had the quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, carne asada, and their chicken tampico. My favorite is the Steak Divorciado! A big steak cut in half with chipotle sauce on half and poblano on the other. The chipotle sauce is tasty, but I prefer the poblano sauce. They also have brunch on weekends!

Classic, old school Tex-Mex. Every Texas city has(or had) a place like this — traditional Tex-Mex served in a giant building. Overall, a great experience. Plenty of chips and salsa.(Extra points for salsa served warm in individual bowls.) Never ran out of tea, chips, salsa, or water. The fajitas, particularly the beef, were excellent. If there was any fault, the onions and peppers could’ve stood some more time on the grill.

My wife’s school held their annual faculty Christmas party here last Friday evening. We had a rather large group, and the school covered the cost of a buffet fajita dinner for each attendee. Both the beef and the chicken fajitas were very well seasoned. I liked the guacamole very much also, and the tortillas were fresh and tasty. I especially enjoyed the warm salsa served with the chips. The atmosphere was a bit loud, and we were a large group so it was difficult to have conversation at some points during our visit. I did have occasion to walk through the main dining room a couple of times, and did not notice the same issue there. I did say we were a rather large group… In any event, I’m told this restaurant is somewhat of a Fort Worth tradition. I wouldn’t mind visiting for dinner sometime, but not sure if I would make the trip down to Fort Worth just to visit Mercado. A solid three stars is in order here for the friendly, attentive, and patient wait staff, the decent fajitas, and the ice cold beer.

This place sucks I order the chicken enquiladas and is was ok but not as good as the real Mexican food, but the worts thing I got sick eating that nasty food I got diarrhea. It doesn’t stops there two waitresses got into a nasty fight it was so bad that they have to call the paramedics. All of that happened in one night Sunday 7th around 8pm. I’m not coming back!

Mercado Juarez is a very good Tex Mex restaurant. This location in north Fort Worth location is a good clean restaurant. Nice décor they have an outdoor patio style in the restaurant very casual. The seating area is large good for big groups or small groups. They can be busy on Friday and Saturday so you may have a wait. And it can be long if they are real busy. But it is a large place so just because the parking lot is full you need to go in check it out there may not be a long wait. The food is tasty hot and fresh and they have all the usual plates’ tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas. The tortilla soup is very good and it comes with most of the meals. The chips and salsa are very good. The salsa is heated up which taste wonderful. And the flour tortillas can be very good if you get them fresh. If they are busy they should be fresh. The prices are very fair for example the steak fajitas at some places are very pricy but not here. And they are delicious I recommend them. The ice tea has always been good with great flavor and not weak like at some places. And the frozen margaritas are very creamy and will give you a nice buzz.

My wife and I have been dining at Mecardo Juarez for decades and have always enjoyed the experience. We normally split an order of chicken fajitas. Today’s visit was just OK, there wasn’t anything spectacular about the food or the service. We ordered some bean nachos as an appetizer but our server brought them out with the meal, disappointing. Our chicken fajitas were good but not great. There was lots and lots of chicken to share. The staff was very focused on a World Cup game during our visit.
