Good Mexican food but not great salsa needs work. Prices are fair and the place is clean.

The food is good but the manager and wait staff are idiots. Their sprinkler system came on mid day and was spraying directly into my car not into the grass. The city is on water restrictions as well and when I confronted the manager he wouldn’t even turn it off told me it had always done it and blamed the lanscapers. They had seen it and neglected to tell me it soaked my car for an hour till another customer told me. When I alerted the girl at the front who could clearly see it happening she just shrugged her shoulders. I will never go back to this location.

Went there today 9÷17÷14 for a late lunch /early dinner. I’ve been to this chain before and the food was ok, about 4 out of 5. The problem I had at this location was the flies. We sat at the back, furthest from the doors near the window and the entire time we ate numerous flies were bugging us. Landing on our drinks and food. It was also warmer than it should have been. For this reason I will not go back to this location. I realize flies happen, but seriously get some bug lights because it was worse than eating on the patio in August.

Nice selection on their lunch menu. Chips and salsa included(salsa was basically tomato sauce from a can). Clean and quick service. Décor is nice. Definitely not the best Mexican I’ve had, but definitely not the worst.

This is not my favorite place by a long shot. There’s nothing wrong with the restaurant. But the real reason I go is my daughter(18) loves the place. For my personal experience, I think they have good tamales. They have good enchiladas. And those are the only thing I have tried. Their bar is, well, laughable. A couple of beers that fit the theme. Tecate, Dos Equis, probably Corona if that’s your thing. Some wine options and Margaritas from a slurpee style machine(like most places, that’s not a judgement) which are tasty. I don’t believe they offer any spirits and I’m a whiskey drinker, so there’s that. If they added a couple of brown liquors I’d probably add a star. The reason I do like to go here though, is the service. These may be the nicest servers I’ve had. Always helpful, always friendly, I’ve yet to have a bad experience. I won’t lie and pretend to love Mexican Inn. But I’ll keep visiting them happily as long as my daughter keeps enjoying it and as long as they keep up the top notch service. Thanks Mexican Inn! :)

Yeah, I’m a big fan. Stopped in for lunch on Sunday. Sat at the bar, my favorite spot to watch what other patrons are having and how customer service is working. I was promptly greeted, my drink order taken, and left with a regular menu, and a menu of specials. The shift manager was hanging around behind the bar, and came down to recommend the smoked brisket items on the specials menu. Unique, fresh chips and salsa were brought. I loved the salsa, thick and a little spicy. Decided to go with the smoked brisket taco special. Between my order time and when my food was brought out(not long), I snacked on the chips and salsa, and watched the service. Every person through the door was greeted and seated immediately. Servers were promptly behind the front desk seater to take drink orders and explain the specials menu. The shift manager was constantly out on the floor stopping by tables to ensure everyone was happy. I also watched everyone leaving, as they had to stop by the cash register to pay. Everyone was asked how the meal was, and the overwhelming answer was«fantastic». My smoked brisket taco plate was outstanding. Not too much food. 2 soft flour tortilla taco’s with the brisket meat inside, with a small cheese cup on the plate, a couple slices of avocado, scoop of Spanish rice, and 3 – 4 oz of charro beans. Just right. The smoked brisket was amazing, incredibly flavorful and moist. Most of the entrees are $ 7-$ 10, so with a drink, your are in the $ 11 – 15 range person, a great value. But don’t forget to grab a freshly made praline($ 0.85) before you walk out the door! Plenty of parking at this Camp Bowie Blvd location. Friendly staff and great food. What’s not to love! I will definitely be back

Always good. Basic Fort Worth tradition that holds its own. Some things deserve to stay the same. Consistent and delicious. The chips and salsa make it uniquely 3 stars.

Arroz con pollo– OMG! You can’t go wrong with a Fort Worth tradition. Even on this very crazy busy night the service was SPOTON! Chalupa con puesto and the arroz con pollo are just like my Abuela’s kitchen. But Gma doesn’t make margaritas like Mexican Inn does. One large and you’re done! I love this place!

Went to Mexican Inn for lunch yesterday. My parents go here quite a bit after church so we all went. There was 9 of us total. We had Rudy as our waiter and he was on top of things. He handled our table of 6 adults, a four year old, a six year old, and a newborn extremely well. Food was great as well but the service was even better. Good eats and makes me wish we lived closer to Funkytown!

M.I. on Camp Bowie has been a «go-to» place to eat mexican food for me. They’re quick to deliver chips, salsa and tortillas upon arrival. The food quality is consistent; not outstanding, yet not bad. I’m not one to complain often, but today I let our waitress know the chips were not as fresh as usual. She removed the chips and brought back a replacement. I’m pretty sure they were the same chips«refried.» Seriously!(I sound paranoid, right?!) Anyway, looks like I’ll be giving LaPlaya more business.

Average chain Mexican food restaurant. I expect more however for the price.

This a poor representation of Tex-Mex. While the house made Fritos are interesting, the salsa is well below standard and the food is overpriced. I appreciate a place that makes their own corn tortillas, but they were served undercooked negating any benefits. The house frozen margaritas were passable, but I have no idea what they cost since we were not given an itemized bill. The menu is limited which would lead you to believe they did a few things well, but that is not the case — everything we tried(which was half of the menu) was mediocre at best. The only saving grace was the chicken and rice dish. Overall I would have a very hard time recommending this place, and I will not be returning.

I love the frito chips they serve, way better than regular tortilla chips. The queso loco is AWESOME. Don’t recommend just for two people though unless you want leftovers, it’s a lot. Their guacamole always taste fresh, and the enchiladas are so good. Mexican Inn isn’t hardcore Mexican, it has kind of a Tex-Mex feel to it, so don’t get your standards too high. The staff is always super awesome.

Have been going to this business since the seventies. I love the chips and salsa. Good enchiladas. I would recommend for families. They have a friendly staff.

Some pretty nasty food. I had the brisket tacos They were super salty, greasy, and tough. The chips were ok, but also super greasy. The salsa wasn’t really hot and very tomatoey. Not very Texan in my opinion. In a world of Mexican joints this is not one I would ever try again.

Lots of Mexican joints have at least one great dish they specialize in. Chicken and Rice has been on the menu since the first location opened in 1936. It rocks and so do the chips and salsa. Get the dish without the chalupa and make sure its covered in chicken, rice and cheese.
