There has been a letter posted on the door for several weeks, from the landlord, announcing they have changed the locks on the store due to non-payment of rent – warning locksmiths, on pain of arrest, to not assist tenent or anyone else to gain access. I have a sneaking suspicion this place is kaput. I don’t know if it was the same franchisee as the also-closed Carrolton store. I never tried the place, although I pick up my mail for the nearby UPS store daily. Something about the name – the obvious lack of understanding of what sounds right in colloquial American English – kind of like the incomprehensible instructions that come with some Asian-manufactured products – led me to expect their product to miss the mark as well. Also, the high-styled furniture/decorations seemed to portend high prices. Just not a great marketing endeavor – now apparently gone the way of most(typically under-capitalized) business startups.
