Odd Hours Day Care

Ginger is someone that can be trusted from day 1. Our daughter had never been in care before and at 3 we really wanted her to have an easy transition, in a home environment with love, structure, healthy food, outdoor activities, safe, clean and fun! And that is just what we got. The children know what to expect each day with rules and a good schedule. They play outside A LOT in her beautiful backyard. This was really important, being outdoors for fresh air and exercise! Meals are cooked fresh, healthy and always different. The toys and equipment are newer and very clean. Home is spotless and never a concern about hygiene or illness from being dirty or neglected. Ginger follows the state rules to a T and although that maybe frustrating to some, it makes for a pleasant, stable environment that you can count on –No surprises and she is always 110% honest about what they ate, how they acted, if they were hurt by another child, what discipline she enforced, etc. There is no guessing or wondering, you know completely what happens day in and day out. You can’t get that just anywhere! A few more important things are to us are the fact that we get photos, texts and videos daily of our daughter and how she did that day, it is very comforting and keeps us engaged with her progress. Home daycare is a way for kids to be loved on more and feel more human vs a daycare setting where these little ones are sometimes treated like puppies put into a pen. If my daughter is tired in the morning, she is allowed to rest on the sofa with educational cartoons until other children arrive, this is extremely comforting. Their little bodies are growing and changing and if they need to rest I feel they should be able to. This would not be possible at a daycare center where they would be forced to lay on the floor or participate in an activity that they weren’t feeling up to yet. This setting allows for children to have some freedom and be themselves! Ginger is always teaching something to the kids as well. Their names, writing, singing, dancing, hygiene, manners, etc. She is conveniently located in a perfect neighborhood with a cozy home!
