Please avoid this bank. We were sent to the bank by the dealership when we were purchasing a car. We were preapproved for a loan from our credit union but the dealer said OmniAmerican was offering a better rate(1⁄8 of a percent better) so we said«ok». Big mistake. This bank is the dark ages. Seriously. Try to do anything on line, a huge hassle. Your account # your SSN mean nothing to these people. It’s your customer # that is all important. Without that you are lost in the woods. How where when and why one finds a customer # remains a mystery. But somehow it’s done throught the mail! Imagine that. Chase, Wells Fargo, and a host of other banks have figured out how to do this on line — not this bank. After about seven months of misery we paid the loan and moved on. Not a pleasant experience. The people are pleasant in a slow moving way, but don’t speak too quickly or you will lose them. If you are over 70 and have much time in your day, it’s probably perfect. But if you work and have kids and are trying to juggle multiple things in your life — this is not the bank for you.
