Great, friendly, neighborhood bakery. Awesome blueberry donuts. Paul is a wonderfully nice guy, and the kind of entrepreneur you want to give your business to.

I have been a customer of Paul’s since the early 90’s and can say with certainty that somehow this place keeps getting better! The gyro meat is always fresh, juicy and spiced fabulously. The Greek salad is something you would find at a high end place for a much cheaper cost. I’ve also had great burgers, chicken sandwiches and much more from their lunch menu. Now let’s not forget breakfast! The donuts are made fresh beyond explanation. Chocolate frosted donuts anywhere else will never match this fresh made icing from real chocolate and cream! Not feeling a donut? Try one of the breakfast sandwiches or pancakes platters and you’ll be back begging for more. I’m by no means saying this is healthy or a daily eat, but I am saying you HAVE to try this place. You’ll love it.

The Gyro was average at best. I like cucumber sauce on my Gyro and this had a very small amount of mayo, so it was dry. The serving of meat and vegetables were quite generous. French fries were well cooked and crispy.

I frequently eat here for breakfast and lunch. Food is always amazing and great prices. Don’t leave without an apple fritter!

This place is questionable. The donuts don’t look very appetizing and the place is sort of a mess. There’s boxes scattered around and stacked in the corners. It doesn’t seem very tidy; there were lots of tables that weren’t cleaned up after customers.

This place is terrible. The donuts I bought were all crusty and dry. Make sure you see what they put in your donut box before you purchase anything. The sausage roll I got looks like they stuck a piece of meat through a donut hole.

I have been going to this place for years, but now I live walking distance and frequent here a lot more. I have nothing bad to say! The donuts always taste fresh and the sausage rolls are not your run of the mill donut shop sausage rolls; they’re 100xs better! I’ve only had the breakfast burrito one time and it was pretty effin good, bigger than I thought and the eggs were fluffy and hot. I have yet to try the gyros, but I’m sure it won’t be long until I do. I love the huge selection of drinks too. they have your typical juice, milk and soda assortments, but also have coconut milk choices, San Peli(which I love), Mexican coke, energy drinks etc! They always have plenty of seating and a super friendly staff. Love!

Note to people reading this: I did not want to give this place a rating after the way me and my husband were treated today. They don’t even deserve the one star. Me and my husband went to Paul’s today to get some brunch. With both me and my husband in wheelchairs, entrance into Paul’s was fairly easy. Now for the bad part. Me and my husband sat by the counter side for 7 minutes to be waited on. There was no one behind us –we were the last ones at the end of the line. The people in front of us got taken care of… people that walked up to the counter in front of us got taken care of but yet we were ignored. There were 3 people behind the counter and only one, the one that is the oldest and there all the time, was the only one that was doing anything. He didn’t bother to tell someone to help us, nothing. He just totally ignored us. When my husband complained audibly to him about this, that man just simply laughed in my husband’s face and he continued to ignore us. My husband got mad and left. I waited 4 more minutes, making it a total of 11 minutes before someone else working in the back come up front to take an order. By then, I had enough as well and left People in wheelchairs SHOULDNOT be laughed at and ignored — we are people too. I would advise that anyone reading this to pass this on that Paul’s DOESNOT… I repeat… DOESNOT… treat people in wheelchairs as human beings. We didn’t deserved to be laughed much less ignored.

The inside is a total hodgepodge of random counters and refrigerators. And the menu was kind of tricky to read. BUT the gyro that I had was possibly the best gyro I’ve had, ever. Definitely best in a long time. The meat was juicy, the tzatziki was plentiful, and it was just a really good gyro. I’d absolutely be back over and over, and I’ll tell all my Unilocal friends about it! ;)

Paul’s is a Fort Worth tradition. It’s very reasonably priced great meals. I had a cheeseburger and instead of fries got a couple donuts lol. The hamburger was cooked juicy and was very substantial for the low price. I’d like to try their fries next time, however the chocolate twist and raspberry filled bar donuts were very decadent. I got mine to go, but there are plenty of tables to eat in. Lunch is served quickly, barely time to check Unilocal! Will definitely be back!

Paul’s is a small little restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch. I’ve only had breakfast here. I think they have the best donuts in the area. Especially the plain ol glazed donut. They are always fresh. They are light and not to sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness. The burritos and omelets are really good as well.

Because how can you not go to a place that serves donuts, subs, AND gyros? I skipped breakfast that morning so by the time it hit lunch time, I was starving. I wanted something filling yet cheap and also non-chain. I came across this and was sold by the restaurant’s name. I knew I wanted a gyro but I didn’t want any fries or drinks, but I also know from experience that gyros don’t always fill me up. They have a 2 gyro special but I was scared that would be too much. First world problems, right? I stood in front of the menu for a long, long time until I asked one of the workers for his opinion. He showed me the size of the gyro and said that I can just start off with one and if I needed to, I can add a second one on. Sounds good to me! The gyro was huge. HUGE. They put so much meat on it that I think half of the meat fell out as I was folding the gyro in half. Very delicious and such a great value! Best part: the gyro with tax included, was less than $ 5. Say wha?

The first time this place, it was catered, and I already thought it was really good. So good, in fact, that I went to the actually restaurant. You MUST get this fresh in store. SOGOOD and such an amazing deal. I will definitely be a loyal costumer. Paul’s motto might as well be Everything is Bigger in Texas, because portions are HUGE. What to get 1. Beef/lamb gyro sandwich — It was very juicy, flavorful, and not dry or too greasy. Many places make their gyro meat too salty, but Pauls is perfect. It’s served on too of a soft and chewy pita bread with a yogurt sauce and romaine lettuce. Definitely the best item to order. 2. Chicken gyro sandwich — I’m not a fan of chicken breast, but my friends really liked the chicken. The chicken is very lean, so it’s good if you’re watching your calories. 3. French fries — they’re actually potato wedges and very good. They’re better than your standard french fries. 4. Apple fritter — it was GINORMOUS. it’s almost as big as a mini iPad. Not too overly glazed and still moist. 5. Regular glazed donut — big, fluffy standard donut. For my next visit, I definitely want to try the gyro plate. I saw another person that ordered it. Her gyro plate came with even more gyro meat than the sandwich, a side of pita bread, and a Greek salad. Also the burgers and kolaches looked very good. Don’t be fooled by the word donut in their name. This place will definitely be one of my go to places for lunch. Their food tastes homemade. The highlight is the lunch and the donuts are the perfect ending. Side note — I was very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the restaurant. It actually looks like a restaurant on the outside, instead of your usual hole in the wall donut shop. The staff was also very friendly. That made my visit even better.

If anyone ever asks you if you want to go to «Paul’s» for lunch or breakfast just calmly stand up, say«yeah, that place is supposed to be cool» wait until they leave the room, and do your happy dance while giving yourself a high five. Paul’s wins at lunch, all day, every day! Do you like doughnuts? Yes you do. Do you like Burgers? of course you do! But do you like Gyros? Absolutely you do and you are about to be sooooo happy! Paul’s does these three things better than almost any place in Fort Worth and it’s so obvious from the moment you walk in. Know why? COPS that’s why! It’s common city dweller knowledge that when you visit a new town, or move to a new city you ask a cop where they like to eat lunch. Paul’s will more than likely be their answer. Every time I’ve been to Paul’s I’ve always had to sneak a chair away from a table crowded by Fort Worth’s finest. This is clearly the place to be. Regular gyros, chicken gyros, cheese burgers and GIANT cinnamon rolls are their stock in trade and they trade well. Their prices are nice and low, their plates are bountiful and their choices are many. Go now, and thank me later. You’re welcome in advance.
