This Pei Wei is VERY busy during lunch hours. They are relatively quick however and we did not wait long to order. They seem to have a system down where they wait until they are sure you will have a place to sit before they take your order at the cashier. I usually opt for the Crab Rangoon’s and the Teriyaki Chicken and Veggies. Both were a solid«good» here. Nothing especially creative or special about Pei Wei, but they do have some nice options to eat a little healthier than just another burger.

I am so disappointed. I have eaten there twice in the past month. The first time I was dissatisfied with my meal but decided that I may have just chosen badly from the menu. Tried it again yesterday and it was bad, very bad. It wasn’t just my lunch but my husband’s was bad to. We were going to complain but the manager was busy getting chewed out by a table of 6 who hated their meal to. Not going back.

The worst meal I have had at a Pei Wei. I bought 3 kids meals and all of them had overcooked rubbery chicken with undercooked crunchy rice. My husband and I got the lettuce wraps and I only got 2 lettuce wraps which they usually give 4 and the filling tasted horrible. It had an awful smell. So basically none of us ate it. When I called to complain they said sorry! Very disappointed with the quality of food at this Pei Wei on Overton Ridge Blvd.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and I used to come once a week to have the coconut curry dish which was amazing! Since they removed this option from the menu I have not been back in over a year and a half absolutely nothing else satisfies me and it makes me sick because I crave it all of the time. And my husband loves this place but I refuse to go because I have nothing there that I want to eat! They completely lost our business of what used to be a family meeting spot. What a terrible shame.

I was turned on to Pei Wei years ago and it was always my go to spot over Panda for fast food asian cuisine. I was not impressed this time around. I don’t know if it is this location in particular but it’s not what I remember from years past.

Good flavor, POORMEATQUALITY Went here last night for date night, was super excited because this place is super yummy usually… but I ordered the Lettuce Wraps and found not one, but THREE rather lanrge chunks of chicken bone in my meal. The manager was pleasant, gave me a refund for the plate but… he said they«occasionally» lose a piece of breast bone in the preparation of the dish. This upsets me because: 1) I study anatomy, I know the difference between a rib bone and the end of a knuckle. The largest piece was clearly the end of a knuckle– meaning there’s not ALL breast meat in those Lettuce Wraps. Theres bits of either wing, leg or thigh! 2) Again, the bones were very large, large enough for me to be DISGUSTED and able to make a guess at how they prep the chicken for those lettice wraps. It looks ground up– not carefully, or professionally sliced. 3) Back to the breast meat: If THAT much bone gets lost in the prep of the chicken, how do I know that other«unclean» parts of the animal such as giblets aren’t ending up in my food? Also, the break points of the bone looked crushed rather than sliced– that tells me that there’s other smaller particles of bone floating around that broke of during the pulverization of the meat– too small for me to notice but STILL present. Again, I’d give 5 stars if it were a review based of of flavor– The meat has always seemed low quality from this joint, not what I’d expect from PF Chang’s sister company. I’m really grossed out over their preparation.

I know this is considered fast food Chinese, but it is 10 times better than PF Changs overpriced, bland meals!

Food portions are huge even when you order a small. The honey chicken and fried rice was good but the sushi and pad Thai were just ok. I ate on it for five more meals. Well worth the money. I did try to join the rewards thing but it said my reciept number did not exist. The lady that checked me out was really patient with me.

Had I known my takeout entrée was going to be missing the vegetables that come in it(but somehow they managed to not forget the tasteless rice sticks), I would have opted for something out of the frozen food area at Walgreen’s next door instead. Next time I will be checking everything before I leave instead of sleepily winging it.

I usually order take out from this location but have dined here on occasion. Fast and friendly service. Food is decent. Some of the reviews on here seem a little harsh. Guess they are expecting top of the line dining. I’ve been going here fairly regularly for a year and a half and its been good.

PeiWei used to be one of our favorite places. We would NEVER pass one by unless it was breakfast. Sadly has time goes by(faster than we think) PeiWei has gone WAY down hill. From time to time we still stop by hoping against hope for them to return to their former glory Alas it is not to be. Lo Mein is undercooked speggett with almost no sauce of any kind and sadly almost no taste. I know it is very difficult to remain consistently good over time, but it is sad to see what has happened to one of our favorite places. If you have stock in this company, I would sell it, the future does not look too good.

This was my husband’s and my fav place to eat until tonight. Everything has changed-portions much smaller and even wine amount less(smaller glass). They are getting rid of White Zinfandel(normally around $ 4.50 glass) and only a few selections will be available at $ 6.50 a glass. Changes are enough for us to go somewhere else in the future. Very disappointed.

I’ve never sat down to eat at this location, but I order takeout from here all the time. The food is always good, they know your name when you call and they even know what you ordered the last time you called. They prepare it fast, no real complaints.

Wow! No consistent quality here. The sushi roll tasted like it was made last week. The rice was hard!!! The noodles stuck together in a clump! Barely any sauce on the Mongolian beef. On a good note… The chicken spring roll was Delish for a change

I love Pei Wei! I pick up Pei Wei for dinner at least once a month(we don’t eat out very often, maybe once a week). We always get Mongolian Beef, Chicken Pad Thai, Honey Seared Chicken, and some Pork Egg Rolls — these are not your typical egg rolls, and they are FANTASTIC. We have never received our order wrong from this location, and it is always ready at the time I input(ordering online). They are friendly and sure to give you enough plastic ware and fortune cookies for everyone you order for.

I wasn’t going to leave a comment about my last experience at this Pei Wei location, but after seeing that someone else had an issue with the girl taking orders up front, I felt the need to… I placed a group order online and went to pick up the food. When I got there, there were 2 people behind the counter — a guy who appeared to be relatively new and a girl who looked to be packing up to go orders. I was the only person in the take away line, and there were 2 people in the dine in line. The guy was helping them, albeit slowly, but I didn’t mind waiting. When he finished checking them out, he just walked off. Didn’t even look at me. There was no one else in line but I still just stood quietly. Over the next few minutes, five other people got in line to dine in. The girl who was working behind the counter finally turned around and said«be right with you». She then walked over and started to ask the dine in customers what they would like. At this point, I had already been waiting for about 10 minutes, and could see that my order had been bagged up waiting to go since I got there! I finally said«excuse me, I’ve been here several minutes — is someone going to help me?!» The girl got a shocked look on her face, rolled her eyes, and then without apology or any hint of friendliness ran my credit card and handed me my food. We had no silverware, no soy sauce, nothing. I left so frustrated. Obviously, that employee needs a serious attitude adjustment, and it’s doing this location no favors having her as the first interaction a customer has in the restaurant.

I can’t believe how much this restaurant has changed. It has completely gone downhill. The girl who takes your order in the front is rude. We waited over 15 minutes to get our food the portion sizes changed tremendously. Nobody came by and checked on us. Then a guy was busting a table and he splashed Dr Pepper all down my leg and on my shoes and didn’t even notice. We definitely won’t be going back to this location

I’m not a fan of Asian fusion places and I’m pretty vocal about that. In trying to have something for everyone, they often try to do too much without doing any one thing correctly. Pei Wei falls into this trap. I guess the impression you’re supposed to get is you’ll receive some fresh Asian meal while they liberally use terms like«bright» and«bold» all over their menu. I certainly got the bright and bold flavors of soy sauce, as others have mentioned… Speaking of which… my meal shouldn’t have had the overpowering soy sauce taste at all. I got the spicy Korean chicken, which was neither spicy, nor Korean. It was a half-assed attempt at Chinese at best with some watery sauce. No chili paste, no Korean ingredients at all. In their defense, they do list what’s in it on the menu, and I did raise an eyebrow, but I thought what tha hell and gave it a shot. The chicken in it was also rubbery and not«fresh» in the least. The egg rolls were good, however, they were obviously frozen and pulled out of a bag. Good flavor, but without a doubt one of the greasiest egg rolls I’ve ever eaten. Damn thing was glistening. The portions are generous for the price, so that’s a plus there. The other people in my party got Kung Pao chicken and Pad Thai chicken… and they said it was just ok. Sadly, I didn’t have a chance to try it. I can’t really comment on the service since there is none. Get in line, tell them what you want, sit and they bring it to you… meanwhile, you get your own drink. The place was clean though… so that’s good. Ya know, I’ll go back again just to try something different, but if my meal is just as lackluster next time, that’s it for me. There’s way too many good Asian places nearby that specialize in just one style to go back to some uppity chain Asian fusion joint attempting to bullshit their customers into thinking they’re eating something they’re not.

Quick, clean, and cheap. My new go to for Asian food.
