Well, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t all that good either. Just average. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I liked the concept, choosing your own toppings, crust, cheese and sauce. But the sum was not greater than the parts. One big problem was that the pizza was cold after the first slice. It cooked in about 5 minutes, cooled off even faster. I will not be returning.

Pie Five is good if you like choices and are picky like Me!!! I can healthy one day and a total pig on the next go round. My favorite is the thin crust with Alfredo and spinach… throw some sausage and pepperoni with onions and that’s a Bri special! The Staff is really nice and greet you as you come in! Great experience each time I come in with my family!

Ehh. I’ve have better. Not impressed at all. Very bland and pricey for such a tiny pizza. They need to have size options. my boyfriend’s hands were the same size as the pizza. He ate it in like 2 seconds. Lol! We just really enjoy a good flavorful pizza with spices and such. not really the quick subway type of pizza fix. The concept is great just not quite there yet on quality.

I am a pizza fan. And I really like the idea of the small personal pizza. This Pie Five location is so convenient to my office and I love the Athenian and the ability to add or remove whatever I want on my pizza… for some reason their machine seems to bake a little too high and my pizza crust is a bit more over done than I prefer. But the employees have always been pleasant and had good attitudes.

The place was unclean, the staff uninterested, and the pizza was not good. The Salad I had to spit out, and I would rather have Red Baron or any other frozen pizza any day. Unless they are backed by some deep pocketed investors, this place will be out of business unless they change everything.

If you have never been to Pie Five, let me describe it as «The Chipotle of pizza» You pick your crust, then the sauce, then the ingredients and then they bake it for you. The pizza is pretty good and the price is reasonable. The pizzas are $ 6.99 and $ 9.99 if you want drink and dessert, which is a slice of brownie pie. This particular location, is very clean and the staff is super friendly, depending on the time a day, parking may be difficult since it’s a strip mall. Love the concept and pretty good ingredients.

I have eaten here about three times now, and it still sits as middle of the road for me. I do like having fresh crust, but the sauce tends to usually be watery. In turn, it’s makes the dough soggy fast. Service had always been very friendly though, which is why I kept going; hoping that it would live up to the potential of their concept.

Just to preface this review, I love Pie Five. I wrote a glowing review here: However, I have a definite problem with the Camp Bowie location. We stopped in for pizzas over the weekend. First off, it was about 80 degrees inside the restaurant. The air was so stagnant it was almost unbearable. The guy making our pizzas was so stingy, you’d think the cost of each topping was deducted from his pay check. He acted like it was a real bother to do his job. He rushed us through the process and quickly tossed the pizzas in the oven before we had even finished our topping requests. The tables were filthy. The customers next to us had to get up and ask one of the workers(who seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than actually attending to customers) to clean the table. She came over and wiped the bench with a nasty rag and the customer still had to wipe it down himself. Our pizzas were so meager and dry(barely any sauce), they were definitely not worth the price. The salads were pre-made(unlike other locations where they’re made to order) and the girl had no clue what dressings went with what salads and which were gluten free(not a good thing for anyone who is gluten-sensitive). I had to email customer service via the Pie Five website TWICE to receive a response. Which is funny, since they’re always soliciting free advertising from customers in the form of photo texts. We’re definitely steering clear of the Camp Bowie location and sticking to the Irving and Southlake locations. The service and the food are much better!

I’m writing this review as I’m sitting at the restaurant. Disappointed with my salad and pizza. Folks, this is the Quiznos of pizza. Goto the counter order it and watch them make it for you. The pizza moves through a conveyer belt of an oven until it reaches the end and the folks behind the counter offer to sprinkle it with some sort of secret cheese and Italian spice mix. I don’t think any type of spice mix will help this tiny little pizza. I think I could have made a better pizza at home using whatever I had in the pantry and fridge. $ 20 later after we indulged and opt for the bundle, added drink and salad/dessert, we left with our book of bad decisions.

Pizza was great and the staff was excellent, so friendly. How can you not love a pizza that you build yourself? If you don’t like it, you have no one but yourself to blame. It is almost like a fast food restaurant because the pizza bakes so fast yet it is a comfortable eat in place. I really like the concept and it feels like a neighborhood pizza place.

I love Pie Five, not just this one but all of them. How much do I love it? I live in Abilene, 137 miles from a Pie Five and I still come often enough to earn free pies. You get a pizza your way without having to eat 10,000 calories of pizza made for 5. They put it together right in front of you and the ingredients are high quality. Feeling adventurous or just don’t want to make the decisions? Pick one of their preplaned pies.

My husband and I always love pie five! We have been here several times and are always greeted with excellent customer service! The food is always great, and always hot of course! Prices are good and if you join the rewards program, they send you awesome deals! Buy one get one free, half off, free drink, etc. Love this place!

My first impression is the lay out is very welcoming. Greeted as soon as you walk through the door. First time there so we grabbed a menu and looked through it for a few minutes. We proceeded to order and the pizza maker seemed as if he was bothered by something. No suggestions or asked us if we had questions. As for the pizza itself. It’s OK. My wife thought it was on the pricey side. But you can’t really get a gourmet style pizza for less than $ 10. All in all I would go back.

Nothing too detailed here, I was in and out in a few minutes with my free birthday pie. I tried the Five Star, which is basically a surpreme pizza with several kinds of meats. The pizzas taste especially yummy if you ask the employees to sprinkle them with torn basil after they come out of the oven!

Read about this and wanted to try it for myself. Initially we were planning to get just one pizza, expecting it to be the equivalent of a medium pizza at regular pizza chains, after all at Dominos you can get a medium for as low as $ 5.99(which isn’t great pizza, but blows this place out of the water) but we had to get 2. The pizza is small… I mean REALLY small. A cheap $ 2 frozen pizza(store brand, Tony’s or Totinos) is bigger and a frozen DiGiorno(twice the size) for the same price as Pie Five is better quality all the way around. I so wish I had just stopped by Albertson’s. We ordered the Five Star and Margherita pizza’s, both with extra sauce and a chef salad. The salad was actually fresh and worth the cost. The Five Star was ok but was still lacking on the sauce(Movie Tavern pizza also blows this out of the water, except at Movie Tavern, I could have paid an extra $ 3 and watched a movie at the same time). When I got the Margherita pizza home, it was very disappointing. It was very dry despite being ordered with extra sauce. If their version of pizza had no sauce, which I have unfortunately had before at other places, being that I ordered it with extra sauce should have included at least a little sauce on it or at the minimum been a clue for the associate to generate a conversation about the sauce. Nope, not the case, instead I get home and find cheap paper thin dough, cheese a few slices of tomato on top and a couple pieces of chopped basil, NOSAUCE whatsoever. I don’t like dry food, I’m not an astronaut. I will never patronize this place again, l just can’t justify a trip for an overpriced tiny pizza no matter how good the salad might be. Literally ANY brand frozen pizza can easily beat these guys out. Save your money.

Pie Five Pizza allows me once again to stereotype all chained, faster-than-delivery pizzas. Why? Specifically, the crust tastes like one of those boxed flat bread crackers that gets tossed into an oven to add a little«toasty» flare. Other than that, no aspect of the round meals here separate the establishment’s product from some frozen good. Yes, the company has so crafted the concept to allow for 1.5 minute pies, but they do not take call aheads or promote delivery. Customer service could use some work here, as the lady I talked to said that call-in is not an option. A note for the gluten-free folks. The crust here pretty much tastes like gluten does not play a factor, though I know it does – as they advertise a gluten-free crust for an additional $ 2. The extremely cracker-like backbone does no justice to the hand-tossed pizza movement. Now to the whole idea of the«interactive pizza»: 41 ingredients sounds nice, but I would prefer a bit of class to the ingredients. With a very bland mozzarella and a near Prego-type of sauce, the pizzas just fall flat the moment those products hit the product. I do like the company as a whole, as it promotes giving to the Food Banks of the area and what not, but I would recommend that they put a little more work into the quality of the namesake good first. Plus, everyone is jumping on this whole«create-your-own» movement. Right, Subway?

Such a cool concept! It’s like the subway of pizza. My own personal pizza consists of alfredo and marinara sauce along with all the different kinds of cheese, Italian sausage, and olives! YUM!

Awesome deal, flat rate pizza(5 bucks with coupon!). Lots of toppings to choose from and they all looked fresh and delicious, not depressed like the stuff on the line at Souper Salad. I asked the employee what’s good and he suggested the Pie 5 High 5. It was very tasty. The crust is probably the freshest, most delicious pizza crust I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful, everything was super clean, I liked the décor and the outside eating area. Excellent job, Pie 5. I will give pizza chance!

Pie Five is like a pizza factory– assembly line and all. Pizzas are individual-sized, and topped right in front of you(like a sandwich is at Subway). They have several pre-designed specialty pizzas and also have a «build your own» pizza. I had the«tree hugger» pizza– a vegan thin crust with lots of veggies. I was a little annoyed that the person making my pizza put meat on the pizza before mine and then used the same gloves to top my pizza. I was thinking maybe they should ask if you want them to change gloves for the vegan one, but maybe I’m being a little picky. The atmosphere is like a factory as well– super industrial, sparse furnishings, etc. I think it would be more comfortable if they had more booths instead of the hard chairs. Despite the lack of coziness, we’ve been here several times and I know we’ll be back!
