I’ve been here a handful of times and each time were enjoyable. So far I’ve had the Experience or The Super Hero and both were good. You can get a half or a whole. Just a heads up the whole is a pretty good size. Place is worth a visit if you’re in the area. Solid!

Awesome place, very clean, fast service and extremely nice staff with great customer service. The sandwiches are great and great prices. Cute«playing cards» system gives a nice touch to fun atmosphere.

Tonight was my first time eating at Planet Sub. They are running a 12 days of Christmas special each day today’s was BOGO free on a half sandwich. Upon entering the restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. I tried a half Chicken Parmesan and a half Super Hero sandwich. The Chicken Parmesan was very good but the Super Hero was great. I spoke with Steve who is the owner/manager and the franchisee for Tarrant County. He was very nice and plans to open a few more locations in Tarrant County. Check it out if you’re in the downtown Fort Worth area.

Awesome sandwich shop and they make their own bread! My favorite is the Dagwood. Good selection of sandwiches and staff is great!

It’s okay. For the price they charge for subs the inside of the sub could be a bit more substantial. Felt a little ripped off. I get a huge sub bun with miniscule ingredients.

Ive tried many planet subs and none beat the one in Manhattan, KS(now closed so sad). I still enjoy the fort worth location though. Friendly staff, tasty subs, and prices are good.

After reading the reviews I was certainly hesitant to try this place… seemed busy enough… so, I gave it a shot. I was glad that I did! The service was efficient and, since it was my first time to a Planet Subs, I had plenty of questions. I am working on my health and always looking for an alternative for a low calorie meal. I found it here… I had the Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wrap… hot…as suggested. I loved it… great crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, great chicken and just the right spice, in my opinion. I can’t wait to try the other low calorie options.

Not a good experience. I walked 5 blocks from work to try out somewhere new and ordered a whole tuna sandwich. I didn’t care for the playing card system of handing out orders and it seemed pretty long of a wait for my sandwich(compared to Subway, Potbelly, Quizno’s, Jimmy Johns, etc). When I got back to work I discovered that they had given me the wrong sandwich. Thus I trudged the 5 blocks back there again and asked for the manager(and explained that I had to come back and was busy with work so that wasn’t a good thing). He said he would take care of it and I did receive the correct sandwich, but wasn’t offered anything for the inconvenience(a coupon for a free sandwich or at least a free soda would have been nice). When I finally tried my tuna sandwich, it was very dry with a nasty aftertaste, definitely the worse tuna sub I have ever had. I won’t be back.

Awesome place! The bread is made fresh daily, the subs are great and the have a nice selection of subs for vegetarians — my wife loved hers. The store is clean, employees are friendly, and service was fast. Previous reviews from a month ago were after the store was brand new so you had training and everyone learning their way. Give this place a try, especially around dinner time and on weekends — they have an excellent selection of bottled beers as well as local brews on draft.

Everyone else seemed to like their sandwich, but the chicken my Experience was dry and bland. The other meats were so so, but I’m not sold that this was much better than Subway. Plus, it’s crazy busy. But, service is great.

I ordered the torpedo at 11:30AM. I waited 45 minutes after paying and receiving a card. I missed a business meeting because I NEVER got my sandwich. No more Planet Sub for our company!

A good selection of subs and quality ingredients, but you will pay a premium for it. The staff is very friendly, but they have a significant problem with check time. I went during lunch time and it took at least 15 minutes to get my half sub and pickle. While waiting, I had to stand in a cramped area with 18 other customers who were waiting for their order as well. I will give them another chance since they are new, but won’t go regularly if this continues. Alonti sandwiches are just as good, but cheaper. They also lost some points in my book because their facebook site had like 10 five star reviews authored well before they were open for business. Sneaky

After all the hype, I guess I expected more. Four of us went for lunch. The service was not fast, but not ridiculously slow. The cashiers as well as those handing out the orders, were exceptionally friendly. The only negative, was the food. Of the four orders, all paid for separately, three were wrong. One person got the wrong soup. Another had no cheese on her sandwich when she had specifically asked for it. A third had two ingredients on her sandwich that she asked to be cut. No one thought the sandwiches were anything special. I ordered the«Experience.» From the description, I thought it would be at least mildly spicy. It was not. There were only jalapeños on one end of the sandwich, no discernible chipolte sauce, and it was horribly dry. The chicken had no flavor whatsoever. I might return when it’s not so new — and if I have a coupon.

I ordered the Dagwood’s Dream, and it’s a pretty formidable sandwich. If I could compare it to anything, I’d say it is the long sandwich format of Schlotzsky’s, but with higher quality ingredients. It’ll be more expensive than the five different Subway’s downtown, but the food is also much better. I’ll be bouncing between here and Four Star Café for lunch time sandwich haunts.

Just attended the«VIP» opening party which was a pretty neat deal. Free 6″ sub and a chance to win a bicycle. I had the Super Hero which was lots of Italian meats served on a crusty roll with pepperoncinis. It was pretty tasty although next time I will ask for more toppinngs — was my fault as menu speficially spells out what is on the sandwich. It is a welcome addition to this corner of downtown where lunch options are limited to Subway or Alonti. Bonus: they also serve beer! This will certainly be added to our regular lunch rotation at the office and I look forward to trying all the sandwiches. EDIT: have returned a couple of times to unremarkable sandwiches. Just a notch above Subway and definitely below Potbelly.
