A candy store for adults! They have several kinds of ice cream and a bunch of different candies. But the main attraction to me is the selection of popcorn flavors they have here. I mean, seriously… Have you ever heard of red velvet pop corn? Have you ever tried sea salt & black pepper pop corn? If not, then add this place to your bucket list. I wish I were still in Texas so I can go and get a few more bags just to bring back home. Oh, and don’t worry about whether you’ll like the flavors or not. You get to sample all of the flavors there before you make your purchase. Same thing with the ice cream. GO!!!

Love all the convos of popcorn flavors here — was surprised to discover the dill pickle was fabulous and savory. You can wash it down with a vintage soda and cool off with a scoop of gelato, then take home some candy to eat later. The place itself is decorated with adorable nostalgia, and you can even sit in a makeshift«truck» bench and table. A great spot to stop in for a sweet treat when you’re downtown!

Pop-N-Cream is located in Montgomery Plaza. We’ve been here a few times. I didn’t plan on reviewing this place. However, when a sweet little 5 year old girl wants you to take a picture of her chocolate ice cream and tells you to put it on «Welp» you have to do it! My kids love this place. It’s bright and cheery. Full of sweets and treats! Want Red Velvet popcorn? How about dill pickle? They got you covered. Want Bacon flavored Soda? They got it. They have everything from fudge, chocolates, jelly beans, sour candies, and more. More candy than chocolate, but it’s ok. We come mostly for the ice cream. Blue Bell Ice cream that you can get anywhere, but my kids love to go, so we go. I tried to push them into the direction of Steel City or Melts, but there is no negotiating with 5 year old twins. :P The coolest thing about this place is sitting in the bed of a pick up truck eating ice cream. It’s okay to me. More like.Meh. My kids are fans though, so it gets 4 stars in my book.

Pop-N-Cream is great — from the cheery staff to the yummy popcorn and the cool-vibe ice cream parlor seating. I guess I can see where some of the folks that came in looking for something other-worldly were disappointed, but it’s a great place for treats and priced accordingly. They don’t claim to be an ice cream manufacturer, and the popcorn has always been fresh-tasting and plenty crispy. Additionally, if you watch their FB page and get on their email list, they have deals pretty regularly for discounts on popcorn.

I really don’t get it. The popcorn is all pre-made. yes, it’s flavored interestingly, but it sits in giant tubs for who knows how long before served. Is it REALLY that good, or have you never had real, fresh popcorn made at home before?(I am NOT talking about those microwave bags, people.) I bought some chocolate candies — chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate potato chips, and chocolate covered oreos. They seem to get these from a cheap bulk supplier then up-charge quite a bit. The chocolate used as a coating is very cheap chocolate. The ice cream parlor is really why we came. I was craving a real hot-fudge sundae. Lo and behold, it’s Blue Bell. How… ordinary. And they don’t have hot fudge — just bulk chocolate syrup, which also isn’t very good(unless you like the cheap Hershey stuff, but if you’ve ever had home-made, you will realize just how cheap and boring the Hershey stuff is). I was hoping it would be a real, local, made-here kind of a place. I don’t think those exist in Texas. At least, I haven’t found one yet. This place was a real disappointment from me. It’s only saving grace was the clerks were relatively nice and the place is clean.

Hmmm… not sure what the hype was about. I didn’t try any of the popcorn, but we got some candies(chocolate covered pretzels and potato chips) which were ok, but nothing to write home about. The ice cream portion is just Blue Bell Icecream. Maybe I’m picky, but when I go to an ice cream parlor I want some truly tasty ice-cream, not the stuff I can just pick up at my local Kroger. And no hot fudge? Clerks were very friendly though, and they had some cute seating areas for kids.

If you have not been at Pop and Cream than you are missing out on some delicious popcorn, candies, ice cream. This place seem to be here forever and somehow I managed to pass by without noticing it(sad). They offer any kind that you can think of popcorn: cheddar and cheese, bacon and cheese, BBQ, ranch, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, pecans, butterfingers, etc. All of them are delicious because I’ve tried them(lol). You can buy then on them on junior bag, medium and larger. The shop is kid friendly. The service is pleasant :) Service is

Such a fun place. So much variety. You can taste as much as you want, and the people working there are really helpful in guiding your decision process. I said I liked Peanut Butter Cup ice cream, and they made sure I tried the pop corn version of it, which was amazing. They have a mini size bag for popcorn, which is helpful if you’re looking to do some portion control. I didn’t get to browse the candy selection very closely, but it is extensive. I recommend going for yourself, or for putting together a unique gift of popcorn and candy.

Great popcorn, great customer service and the best variety of candy. Nice and fresh. I go every so often for my fix of cherry sours… and the smell of fresh popped popcorn when you open the door!

I’m a super big fan of popcorn, and this place has spoiled by it’s goodness! Honestly every year my family sends popcorn to one another, but now this is the standard for good popcorn. I like that you can get bags in all different sizes from a couple handfuls to a giant party bag! Their selection is great too. My favorites are the loaded potato, buffalo cheddar/ranch mix, friend pickle and zebra. Zebra is a sweet one; I don’t like caramel or sugary popcorn but this like chocolate, caramel, sea salt?, aaahhh sooo gooodddd… They also have a selection of blue bell ice cream and a large amount of candy in which you can place in clear plastic bags($/weight). If you’re not sure about a flavor, they’ll let you sample whatever you like.

They have tons of popcorn flavors to choose from, savory and sweet. I bought a scoop of gummy bears, a small bag of taffy and a mini popcorn bag and it was under $ 6. The bulk candy was $ 8 a lb and the chocolate candy and nuts were $ 15 a lb. They have multiple size bags of popcorn from mini($ 2.25) up to a jumbo bag. We didn’t have ice cream but they serve Blue Bell. We had a little difficulty finding it cause it is on the outside of Montgomery Plaza on the side by Luke’s Locker.
