Radisson Hotel

I am only giving this hotel one star and honestly I don’t think it deserves a one star rating. We had the most horrible experience here. First off when we got to the hotel they completely skipped me and checked in the people behind me. Completely ignored me. When they finally asked if they could help me i said yes I’ve been waiting to be check in, the front desk people were rude. We had a pretty big group since it was for a bachelorette party so we knew somethings were not going to go as planned. Secondly one of the rooms had a water bottle with tattoo needles sitting in the corner of the room. So that means housekeeping sucks at cleaning there rooms. Third off, the front desk doubled booked one of the rooms, so when our friend was changing and a random dude walks in on her saying they were in the wrong room, our friend was like no this is my room. She was embarrassed and completely upset. So she had to talk to the front desk and they gave her free breakfast. Free breakfast really when it’s part of the accommodations already. She was upset about that. They were completely rude and when we tried to call for a taxi, a taxi for 11 only one taxi cab showed up. How are 11 of us suppose to fit in one cab. So that didn’t go well. When we finally get back after our night out. We all ended up in our rooms late, but that didn’t stop there. They come knocking on my door at 7 o’clock in the morning accusing us of damaging the property saying we wrote on the elevator walls. We asked them to check into it and get back with us. Well they don’t have cameras anywhere in the hotel besides the first floor. Are you kidding me. After speaking with the manager who harassed us, threaten that we were going to pay for the damages we were done with this place. WE WILL NOT GO BACK. And we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Service was horrible, staff was horrible and the hotel was not all that well kept up like the pictures showed online. I sure hope they take these reviews serious and change the way they do service.

Just checked in for a weekend vacation. As most people do now a days, I used a third party site (
) to book the room. I was informed at the front desk that the king room I booked was not available and all they had was 2 full beds. I was told that because I used a third party site there was no guarantee for the type of room I booked. All hotels in the area are booked and I made this reservation over 4 months ago. I had no choice but to accept whatever they wanted to give me. Given that my boyfriend and I are not small people, this means there is no way for us the sleep together. That’s a large part of enjoying a vacation together. Imo. On top of that the room is horrible. There is no refrigerator, it’s very small and the bathroom countertop is so low it’s obviously for someone in a wheelchair. We feel like we are staying at a flea bag motel 6 or something. Very disappointing. I thought Radisson’s were much better than this. They are obviously taking advantage of the event in town to fill there rooms by this bait and switch.

I stayed here for 3 nights when I was in Ft Worth for work. I can’t complain about the hotel. The staff was friendly when I checked in. The lobby was nice. Decent sized TV, a lot of sitting space and a water feature. Plus easy access to the bar and dining room. The room including the bathroom was very clean and everything looked newly remodeled. One complaint was the heat/​AC unit. There was a thermostat on the wall, after setting it, it occurred to me it wasn’t hooked up to the actual heater/​AC so I set it for 70 and woke up and it was 65 in the room. Not really sure why there was a thermostat on the wall since it’s main purpose didn’t work.
The king size bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The hallways were narrow and looked aged. Seemed like they could have used a sprucing up.
Many have said they had issues with the wi-​fi. I did not have any issues connecting or staying connected. I did a speedtest and it was coming in at a constant 10MB/​s which, in my opinion is pretty good for a free hotel internet.
I would stay here again if I was in the area. No major complaints and it got the job done!

«Interesting» club attached to the building with a special «dancer» advertised for the night we were there. Older building. Nice staff.

If you are a business person forget this hotel if you need WiFi. I was there for 5 days and was able to actually use it maybe for 10 minutes. I had to use my Hotspot the whole time and sucked up about 7 gigs of my monthly plan. The other bad thing is the traffic getting in and out. They cater to BNSF and Dynacorp. Other than that, the rooms are decent, the bed was comfortable and make sure if you need a microwave and fridge to ask for one. They don’t have the foresight to ask you. I asked for late check out they told me no. It took two days to get the fridge and microwave room and I had to practically beg for it. If the WiFi worked and they acted like they cared i would have liked the hotel. They have a nice restaurant, room service and workout room and the maids were friendly.

This hotel needs drastic renovation. They have tried to update, but still is an old hotel. Elevators/​Air conditioners/Bathrooms/Doors…ect. are some of the outdated issues. Stood in ankle deep water to shower, sink was stopped up, hallways noisy, air conditioner sounded like an 18-​wheeler, front desk was a mile from elevators, nicest thing was the fountain in the main lobby.

Upon our arrival our large group (50+ people) rolled our suitcases into the hotel to be greeted every few steps by a friendly staff member holding doors open. In the lobby, by the gorgeous fountain, was a table set up with freshly baked giant chocolate chip cookies, fresh fruit, and bottled water for all of us. At this point they’ve won me over completely. The lift is a little walk from the lobby but it is clearly signed so you won’t get lost along the way. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and the beds are comfortable. We only spent a small amount of time here, I could have stayed here far longer. The buffet breakfast downstairs is sufficient, I feel in love with the waffle machine. The staff are nothing short of spectacular and even crossing them in the hallway they will stop and greet you. There is free wifi in all the rooms and it worked every single time I used it, another rarity in many hotels. I would absolutely come back and stay here, if only for the friendliest staff members.

With this hotel being sold out the night we were there (we asked why there was hardly any parking available) and they have a convention center thing, I am surprised no one has reviewed this place yet. The place looks on the smaller end when you are driving up, but when inside it is a lot bigger than you would think. They have a great lobby area with a fountain and plenty of seating to meet up with people.
Checking in was super fast, thanks to Sean the Sales Manager who was at the front desk as we walked in. When we set up the reservation we mentioned it was our 7 year wedding anniversary and it turns out he upgraded us to a suite and put chocolate covered strawberries and 2 glasses of wine on the living room table. This type of service is what will make me talk about this property for a long time to come.
On the way to the room everyone from the maids to the maintenance guys said «Good Afternoon» or «Thanks for staying with us» and even «Have a wonderful stay». This was all in one quick walk from the front desk to the room. The halls are long so we passed a bunch of people. GREAT SERVICE.
The suite was really nice. You walk in and you have a living area with a couch and love seat, large table and big flat screen TV. Then in a separate room you have the bedroom with another flat screen, another love seat and the Sleep Number bed (I will mention this a little later). The bathroom was probably the largest once I have been in at a hotel in a LONG time. So once we got our settled into the room, we met some friends for dinner at the hotel.
The dinner was in a banquet room and the food was prepared by the executive chef at the hotel. Everything we ate was just amazing and I was thinking about it all night. My favorite dish was the play on chicken and waffles. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the waffle had a touch of orange zest and blue cheese. To top it off he had something on the plate that I have never had before which was a chicken fried hard boiled egg. I didn’t know what to think at first, but once you crunch into it and then taste that egg, I think it is something everyone should try at least once. SUPER WONDERFUL DINNER. Thanks Chef !!!
From dinner we went to Cassidy’s (in the hotel and I will review separately) for drinks and a bunch-​o-​dancing. We ended up meeting Laura who is the Group Sales Manager for the hotel and she was wearing cowboy boots, which she mentioned she borrowed from a friend of hers. For not owning cowboy boots she was dancing pretty good.
Cut to 230am, my wife and I were the very last people to leave Cassidy’s. There in the lobby we saw Sean the sales manager again and he had a great idea. Since none of their food options were open that last, he mentioned the McDonald’s across the street is open 24 HOURS. I remember having a chicken sandwich and a salad, then we headed to the room after a while. We went back to the room and once we figured out the Sleep Number bed we went right to sleep. It was a great night and I will always remember this hotel from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel which I found out is only a few minutes from the Stockyards if you are in the area. If you see Sean or Laura at the hotel, tell them I say HI!!!

After waiting 20 minutes to check in, I finally was able to, only to discover I had to wait another 15 minutes to wait for one of the two elevators that was working in the entire hotel. The room looked decent, but upon a more detailed examination of it, I discovered it was filthy. There was a cigarette burn in the comforter. The coffee maker had packets of sugar, stirers and coffee grounds in the water reservoir. I bought a lean cusine from the front desk. When I attempted to heat it in the microwave I found someone’s leftovers in the microwave. They were half-​eaten and who knows how long they had been there. I almost got sick after this discovery. In the morning, I could not run fast enough from this hotel.
