Ruined a leather jacket that was passed down from family. Took a month turn around. Had to pay in full to get it back, non-​wearable now. I wouldn’t bring anything here.

The short version of my long story: On business in DFW from NYC. Busy schedule prevented me from getting my gown tailored for a wedding I was in. I left myself with what I thought was going to be four very stressful days to get this dress fitted, but Maricel in the alterations department absolutely killed it! She took in my rush order with a smile!
+ extremely friendly and professional staff
+ even though it was a rush order, she tailored the dress to the tee and delivered ahead of time
— a bit pricey, but it is my own fault as I got it done at the last minute

I’ve been going to Rays for about a year and a half now and love them. To start, I’m always greeted very promptly and the employees are very friendly. I usually go in there with mine and my husbands nice work clothes and dresses, which include silk blouses, light wool trousers, nice custom shirts, etc. They do great on everything that I bring in. Just yesterday I came in with a huge bag of items that need dry cleaned and pressed. All of it was done next day. I feel bad for the other posters, but I’m thinking these must have been random cases… definitely not a normal thing at Rays. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’m very picky with my dry cleaning.

I initially thought these guys were all about service until I arrived with 3 minutes to spare just to drop off and the woman was locking the door — I begged because I needed these clothes for travel, but she said, «um yeah, sorry, we’re closed.» And locked the door in my face. Wow. Thanks for caring about your loyal customers. Would a 2 minute drop off really have ruined your life? Burn in hell shitty cleaners.

I don’t know where to begin with how bad this place is. I took 3 dresses here to be cleaned. A day later I get a call from the manager saying they ruined my dress and it will cost $ 14 to fix. First thing dry cleaning is supposed to be gentle and not ruin clothes. Secondly why would I have to pay for something they ruined.
When I went to pick the clothes up they then informed me that there were 3 stains they couldn’t get out.
It cost me 48.50 for three dresses plus 14.00 to fix the one they ruined
I should have went to Upper West Cleaners like my wonderful husband suggested. He is always right :/

Absolutely awesome service! Especially compared to Momma’s Cleaners off Crockett St… word of advice– please do not go there. Take your business here; I’ve never had my clothes ruined and have always gotten amazing customer service. I’m coming back to you, Ray’s, after having clothes ruined at Momma’s.

I’m new to the area and figured I’d give Ray’s Custom Cleaners a try due to the good reviews here and convenience to my apartment. I only brought two shirts in as I always like to give a place a test run. One of the shirts had a good size stain on it so I had them mark it with their red tape when I dropped it off. I picked up my shirts a couple of days later and of course the stain was still there. I didn’t notice it until I got home as they had positioned it in the bag so I couldn’t see it, and of course the employee didn’t mention that they couldn’t get the stain out. Not a big deal as many cleaners can’t get stains out, but I want to go to the one that does. So if you’re ok with a somewhat expensive cleaner that leaves stains in your clothes, then I recommend this place. For me though, I’ll pass.

I’ve been to every dry cleaner up and down Camp Bowie and they are the only ones that will handle things right if you have an issue. Very prompt and friendly and organized. That and alterations are great. Highly reccomend.

I don’t use them for dry cleaning, just tailoring. The seamstress is great! She’s a tiny, sweet little Italian lady that tells you how it is! Love it. She is quick and her work is perfection. Give her a try :)

Ray’s is awesome! I had 6 – 7 items and they were ready the next day! Very fast and efficient. It was recommended to me by several coworkers. A pleasant dry cleaning experience you say? Yes, go to Ray’s.

This is, to my knowledge, the only eco-​friendly dry cleaners in fort worth. They use bio-​degradeable cleaning solution and my clothes feel nicer already! The staff is quick and friendly. I am really happy to have found Ray’s!
