UPDATE: I don’t know what happened to their staff, but I have very little confidence with them handling my valuable jewelry and will not be going there again.
That diamond pendent they helped me set — one of the prongs on the back broke making the diamond loose. Not ideal, so I took it back in and asked to have it fixed. They initially wanted to charge me $ 80 and after I explained that it’s been only a year since they last set it, they agreed to fix it for free.
A week goes by, and I go to pick up the pendant and it’s the exact same. The diamond is just as loose, it’s still missing a prong in the back, it’s just … cleaner looking. Not good.
So one of the staff members was able to pick out a «more secure» setting in a similar style and ordered it, free of charge.
Another week goes by, I go to pick it up and the diamond is actually secure. But now, my chain won’t fit through the setting and I explain this to two very apathetic staff members and they basically said «Oh, too bad» and offered no reasonable solution.
This is infuriating customer service. They have zero attention to detail and zero interest in being attentive to actually helping their customers fix a problem created from their own staff. This store does not stand behind their work — nor produce quality work and I would heavily advise to go somewhere else.

I took my ONE of a kind heavily engraved wedding ring in to be sized. It was hand made by a silversmith in San Angelo and was 1.5 sizes too big.
They fixed it up in a little over one week. It fits great now and they did a very good job not stretching or ruining the engraving minus what they have to take out to resize it. The part they did remove he tried to match up and recreate so it doesn’t look drastically different.
I’m really impressed. They were honest with me that speed bumps or a ridge inside wouldn’t work when the ring was that much too big.
It cost me 120 dollars but I think about what my husband paid for the ring and I can’t be upset. They did exactly what I needed without me having to mail it (um, no) outta town with a zillion dollar insurance policy. They called when it was ready and pick up was easy.
Replaced my watch battery on site with warranty and even fixed the band at no fee.

BUYER BEWARE. HEED THE LOW STAR WARNINGS
Last year I sold a watch to a man who said RIDGLEA informed him my original 1985 Rolex Ref. 16 800 Submariner bezel WAS NOT GENUINE. OH you bet it was genuine and original to 1985. What followed was me and paypal becoming embroiled in a $ 5,000 dispute which left me on the crap end of the deal. Why? A RESULT OF RIDGLEA’s either
1. Lack of knowledge
2. Ripping of an Ignorant customer to make a buck. (PROBABLY THIS)
So I contact Ridglea informing them that they replaced an AUTHENTIC VINTAGE ROLEX PART worth hundreds with a piece of crap ebay replica worth $ 20. I told them that I may pursue legal action and they IMMEDIATELY sent my Bezel back to me (OH BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS FAKE, WHY DID YOU KEEP IT… TO RESELL IT IM SURE)

We decided to purchase my husband’s wedding band at this jewelry store and since the ring would arrive two weeks after placing our order, we decided to leave two silver dishes for engraving with the jeweler as well. When we returned to pick up our orders, the dishes were filthy and the ring was too big because the store had admittedly ordered the wrong size. The store manager first insisted we must pay for a replacement ring, to which I politely but firmly refused, as our ticket clearly stated my husband and I had placed the order in the correct size. Next, before blaming the error on the manufacturer, she blamed the ring size on my husband’s «small knuckles» (he actually has rather large knuckles) and suggested that I «accept my man for who he is.» When the manufacturer finally agreed to remake the ring and return the order overnight and, after I had asked they advise when the ring had arrived, the store manager refused to call us because she, «would be busy with other clients.» Furthermore, when I asked for the dishes to be cleaned, the jeweler handed me a polishing cloth. The ring arrived three days later. I received two phone calls to alert me of the ring’s arrival but, when my husband went to pick it up at the store, the representatives working insisted the ring had not yet arrived because they could not find the package. After about 10 minutes, someone realized the mistake and we were married with the correctly sized ring.

I went there to find out about getting my engagement ring sized down from a 7.25 to 7.0. The woman told me it would be $ 120. It was all I could do not to let my jaw drop! Having never had anything resized before, I wasn’t sure what to expect but my gut told me that was way too much. I’ve since learned this is a really, really outrageous price for downsizing a white gold ring — literally multiple times more than you should pay! Zales is doing it instead for $ 40.
Really a shame because it’s always nice to support independent stores — if it were even in the ballpark of a chain store, I would’ve paid a bit more just to support a business in my community, but that’s just insane!
