The optical dept. is a hit or miss. I had prescriptions for far-sighted and near-sighted. I specifically asked the optometrist for two prescriptions as I didn’t want bifocals. Rob waited on me at the optometry dept. He convinced me that for the reading glasses, I needed to get progressives. He said it would be easier to go from close reading to reading the computer monitor. So, he should know, right? Since I bought two pair of glasses, one for driving and one for reading, I got the $ 40 discount on the second pair. Jump forward, I get the reading glasses and I can’t read close up OR the computer. The driving pair are just fine. Nancy waited on me when I picked up the pair and she said to try them to see if my eyes just needed to adjust to them, and if they didn’t work to bring them back in. They didn’t work at all. I brought them back in and Rob waited on me again. He kept trying to say my prescription was off but I said no, just give me the original prescription. He asked if I wanted bifocals, I said no, just reading glasses. Since I had received the discount before, I wasn’t eligible for it again and got a dollar back. The new reading glasses worked great, just as I had wanted. So beware, I’m sure Rob got his commission but I was very unhappy with his suggestion as to progressive lenses and the trouble I had with getting what I wanted. Nancy, on the other hand was very helpful and didn’t try to push anything on me. If you go, DON’T let Rob help you.

Worst experience ever! I asked for a membership for Christmas because I have always wanted one; which I did receive in the form of a groupon(which also had a $ 22 ‘membership value’ included). I go to to redeem it and also had an item to return that I also got for Christmas. I was told they do not sell that item at that store so they can not return it because ‘it is not in their system’. It was bought online so please advise me what you want me to do? So I had to bother the person who gave me the gift, who kindly forwarded me her order information. I was then told okay, they could refund that amount ONTO the credit card that bought it(meaning the customer just loses that gift?) No, it clearly says in your policy ‘without a receipt, you will receive a refund in the form of a shopping card’. She then said«Whatever, look I’m just following my job duties; it’s only 20 dollars». Yes it may have only been 20 dollars, but what if it was a 700 dollar tv?! She finally gave in and gave me a gift card after I voiced my opinions. On top of ALLOFTHAT I was then told I need to contact groupon to figure out what this 22 dollar ‘membership value’ is because they don’t honor that. At this point I was livid and done(and this was over a period of almost an hour). I really just wanted to cancel the membership altogether; but I am certain this lady wouldn’t even know how to do that and I had already wasted enough time listening to other employees openly discuss how their relief isn’t there yet and how management is cutting hours but aren’t capable of getting shifts covered. I’ll be on the lookout for another SAMs, and probably a way to cancel my membership! Good riddance.

I have a membership to both Sam’s club and Costco and really do prefer Costco. BUT if I find myself needing something from Sam’s this is the one I will go to. They usually have total steals on plants. I bought a gorgeous Japanese maple last year for 30 $. They have poinsettias at Christmas and beautiful wreaths. Other than that I find it hard to justify shopping here– even the gas pumps are a pain to get to!

I’ve been coming to this Sam’s Club since the day they opened. The service is always good and prices are about as good as you are gonna find around. Funny though, this Sam’s is consistently about 5 to 10 cents a gallon cheaper than the Sam’s on the Eastside near where I live.

All the Sams have less available checkout lines these days. Duncanville is impossible! I don’t mind the self check, except that it’s not good for employees. This location has the best gas prices, fill up while you’re there! I usually find what I need here,& yes, more than i need. Since the Chisholm trail pkwy opened up, It’s a breeze to get there & back. I like it better than the Burleson location. It’s kinda hard to beat the Waco loc, tho… Idk why, but the meats are better quality at Waco. Still, Bryant Irvin is my must stop when I’m out that way.

This store used to be one of my favorites but now it’s not they don’t have many check-stands to pay now u have to do self pay if u wanna leave the store whit out wait 30 minutes or more in line, customer service it’s not really friendly that’s why I switch to Costco better quality products, better prices and way better service .they only get 2 stars because the store it’s nice and clean

Prices here are what they are. Some items are exceptionally cheap others aren’t. Service is good here, btw don’t expect me to do self check out… ever. Other than that I shop here regularly.

This has always been one of my fav weekend happy sampling spots. Having a small household bulk doesn’t suit me as much as the free food does. Lol On the other hand during the holidays with family events and special parties I can always get such a better deal here. Their contacts are much cheaper. Today I even got a free hearing test. Daniel the examiner was so polite and informative. Nothing like knowing my luv for listening to hip hop hasn’t damaged my hearing… Renewing my membership today gave me an extra $ 15 and lots of bonus coupons towards my purchase. My special buy was a cases of Propel water for $ 9.01 each. Worth stocking up for those thirst quenching workout days…

Stopped for gas and it was cheap compared to the area. Been inside and well, its a Sam’s Club. Buy in bulk and load up, that’s the story.

The total bill came to $ 215.65, which was $ 28.43 cheaper than a comparable cart at Costco. I am big fan of wholesale shopping, especially at Sam’s Club. We found that the departments featured a wide assortment of items and brands, including the in-house Member’s Mark label. The delivery and installation services, extra year warranty, and 24⁄7 technical support on big-ticket items are big draws. We also dig the free tire repair and the big savings at the pharmacy; the free health screenings are an incomparable deal. You’d be hard-pressed to beat the store’s discounts and services.
