Silver Creek Ranch

I have dealt with many crappy barns since I moved to DFW 5 years ago, but this is the first (nonprivate) barn that I’m happy with. My horse isn’t exactly easily pleased, and can be a drama queen, but here she is happy and calm. She looks great and the feeders will feed any supplements you have without fuss. The owner is really accommodating and a very sweet lady. They are all so easy to work with! I travel quite a bit, and always feel comfortable leaving my horse while I’m gone, because horse care is their priority (which is more than I can say for a lot of other barns in the area). They keep the arena pretty well dragged, which is always a plus. I’ve been here about 6 months, and both my mare and I are very happy

We have had our horses at SCR for a few months now and are very happy. Amy, Mixon and the crew there are taking good care of them. I really like the arrangement they have with the farrier, it makes getting shoes so much easier with their scheduling. Good location and a nice arena.
