Spencer Gifts

I went in with a friend to pick up some accessories. She bought some lace gloves. They had a buy one, get one half off. Most of the items were moderately priced. The service however was lacking. They had one cashier working and so there was a few people in line ahead. The cashier was very slow and didn’t seem to be aware that he was talking a while. He was however very friendly to the customers. The store looked clean and well lit.

I’m not sure how places like Spencer Gifts stay in business sometimes.
The store isn’t bad or anything (I probably go into these stores every time I visit a mall), but I’ve rarely ever purchased anything from them (and I’ve hardly ever seen anyone else buying stuff there as well).
Spencer Gifts is good for a laugh, but the prices are pretty pricey so I’d rather just share the jokes (or riskay merchandise) with someone who’s with me at the store then display it at my house.
And I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, but have you ever seen anyone wearing the shirts /​accessories that they offer?
I guess there’s not much of a market of people that would be willing to shell out the prices they’re offering, and want to wear a shirt that has a hot dog cheating on a hot dog bun with a donut?
BTW, I prefer the newer style stores (like the one at Hulen Mall) then other locations.
