Really liked their food. I have tried Thai food at other places, but this by far is the best I have had. We had the bamboo shrimp which is shrimp wrapped in wonton wrappers and fried then served with a sweet and sour sauce. Also had the coconut soup. Really tasty. We also had the fried rice with chicken and shrimp and beef and broccoli. Really good food. We had the lunch portion and we sat and talked for a while and saw the dinner portions were really large.

Although there were domestic beer choices available, I chose a Thai beer, Chang. Only after I ordered did I notice it was the brand being advertised throughout the restaurant. Regardless, I did enjoy its taste. It was a pleasant surprise when my beer was poured in a glass at the table. I was looking at the variety of entrée choices. The description of the Pad Ped caught my eye. Although the scale for the other spicy dishes is 1 to 5, this one starts at 3. As I usually do with Thai dishes, I chose chicken as it does a great job absorbing the sauce’s flavor. The Pad Ped had plenty of flavor. At Level 3, there was sufficient kick to satisfy most. Although there was just enough white rice to eat with the sauce, I would recommend an extra bowl if used to extinguish the fire in the mouth. The staff was very quick when it came to taking my order and give my beer. I couldn’t say the same when it came to clear my table and give my check. It took two attempts to get someone to bring me my check.

This a very cool Thai restaurant, I like the name of it hahaha«Spice». Always friendly, not a huge place, which I like, but it does get busy during lunch time, you might wait even before u get seated. Ok, food. Food is really good, but sometimes you can ask them for example do not add to much of sweet sause in Pad Thai. Overall, I like it

Really enjoyed our food. I had the Massaman Curry and my hubby had the Panang Curry. Both dishes were really good!

Second favorite Thai place in DFW! My boyfriend found this restaurant on Unilocal, and we tried it for an early dinner today. We arrived at 4pm and the five of us were quickly seated. There were only two other tables of people when we were seated, and the waitstaff was incredibly attentive. I ordered the Pad Thai at a spice level of 2… fabulous! There is enough on the plate to feed two people, as you will see in my photos, with a healthy portion of chicken and tofu. This place does NOT skimp on the meat or the tofu! My boyfriend had the Green Curry with brown rice, spicy level 4, and that was just as flavorful and plentiful as my dish. One of my boyfriends’ sisters had the Drunken Noodles, spicy level 3, and she said it was terrific. I can’t remember what the other two people ordered, but I have photos of all. We ended dinner with dessert, a sticky rice combo with mangoes, and I can’t think of a better way to end a Thai meal. The next time we are in Ft. Worth we will be back to feast on this fabulous cuisine

We love love love. This is weird but… the best goose martini is to be found here. We love Lee. She tells you what is the best.

Pretty good food. We only shared some of their appetizers, but enjoyed what we had. We ordered the spring rolls, lettuce wraps, and I had a bowl of the tom kha Kai, which was super delicious! I am not a cilantro fan, and there is cilantro in the spring rolls. I asked for no cilantro, but they said it wasn’t possible since the spring rolls were pre-rolled. It ended up not being that strong in the spring rolls, so I was happy about that! I would definitely get that soup again, though, if I come back.

This place is great. This is my go to for Thai. I’ve had the duck curry, the massaman curry, and the crab fried rice. As far as appetizers I’ve had the calamari, egg rolls, bamboo shrimp and fish cakes. I really liked everything except for the fish cakes, which I think was due to the consistency that I was not expecting. After doing some research I’ve found that fish cakes/balls usually have the consistency that the ones at spice have. Overall great restaurant and customer service with quality food for a price that’s comparable to other Thai restaurants in town.

I got called basic for getting pad thai. I can’t help it. It’s one of those generic comfort foods for me. I’ve eaten at a few other Thai places around town, and Spice always satisfies consistently. I’m a take out regular and it seems when I tell anyone I’m going, I have about 5 other people giving me their take out order as well. Their lunch potions offer more variety but the portion is so tiny for the main course. At least you can order dinner anytime.

Came here for lunch on a Monday around 11:30am and it was packed! It’s not a big place so people were having to wait on their small entrance area. I really liked the food here and the atmosphere and interior is really nice. The same«industrial chic/contemporary feel» type stuff that has become super popular in recent times. Service is a little shoddy though, but it was busy so that could be why. We did wait 20 min for our cocktails though until getting another waiter to ask the bartender, and he ended up bringing our drinks for us. That was slightly irritating. I definitely enjoyed my lychee mojito though! I love lychee and thought it was a good mix. Lunch special was nice, everything was $ 10 and you get a salad, egg roll or veggie spring roll and the entrée size is pretty big. My friend and I also shared the big portion of Tom Kha soup($ 12) and it was a LOT! And super tasty! I always get this soup in every Thai restaurant I visit, and this one had plenty of chicken and mushrooms and didn’t disappoint. We split it and I took some home to go as well. Ended up taking half of my pad Thai home too because it was a big serving. The Pad Thai is good. Compares about the same to others I have tried at other Thai restaurants. Nothing extraordinary I would say. My friend said her Thai fried rice was also good, and the egg roll was nice, crispy and meaty(and a extra bit of grease too lol which I liked). One thing that was a tad bit upsetting is that they had a patio and since the inside was busy, my friend and I were hoping to enjoy another mojito on this nice beautiful spring day on the patio. The manager however stated that the patio was closed and we weren’t allowed in. I thought that was quite strange considering the weather was gorgeous and the fact that we were wanting to give them more business but we get turned down because they couldn’t simply open the patio. I’m not a restaurant owner though so there could be plenty of reasons why they couldn’t, I just found it upsetting. Overall the lychee mojito stood out, and I appreciated the portions but I’ve been to plenty of Thai restaurants and this one didn’t particularly stick out to me enough to care to come back. I know other Thai restaurants with better service and BYOB which I think I’d prefer since apparently I can’t even enjoy lunch other with drinks on the patio at this place.

Food is good. Service was subpar. and don’t even try the drinks. Came here with my friend. We sat right in front of the bar. We were busy catching up after the holidays so we weren’t exactly ready to order. The waiter man came by a couple of times to ask if we were ready and when we said not yet, we needed a few mins, he kind of had this impatient attitude. That really rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered the pad see eww and it was okay. Not great, just okay. I was able to eat it, how’s that. My friend seemed to like her dish which I believe was a lemongrass soup dish. I can’t remember. What disturbed me most, since I was sitting and facing the bar, was the way they made their drinks. I saw it all. A man sitting in the main dining area ordered two martinis. As the lady was making the drinks, She filled up glasses with ice water from a pitcher, and then added water into the martini glass. And touched up with the liquor and olive. At first I couldn’t believe my eyes. But 15 – 20 mins later she made the second martini and added water to it. I’m pretty sure martinis should be straight up vodka or gin. Maybe even a touch of vermouth. But definitely not a ¼ glass of water. So… Yea. Watered down drinks. No thanks! And to update: they were not chilling the glass. The liquor was added to the water into the cup. And second time. They topped off the martini with ice water AFTER the drink was made.

I was expecting more from this restaurant after reading their reviews but was sadly disappointed. We got the basil fried rice and tom kha soup. My friend who got the basil fried rice said it was bland and lackluster compared to other Thai places he preferred dining at. I ordered the tom kha. The menu listed the soup size options as either a bowl or a hot pot. Normally restaurants list soup sizes as a cup(if you want the soup as a side dish for a larger entrée) or a bowl(if you want the soup as your entrée) so I was confused. I tried to clarify when I ordered and the waitress told me the bowl was a good size for one person so I ordered that size. $ 8 for a bowl seemed pretty pricey for a tiny side dish of soup, plus the waitress said its fine for one person so I got that size. Sadly, it turned out to be the scrawny side dish size. I even got an addition of rice noodles(the soup doesn’t come with rice or noodles) and the waitress knew I wanted to add them to the soup so I thought she would’ve picked up on the fact that I was expecting the soup to be the size of a normal entrée. The side of noodles turned out to be bigger than the soup itself. Both flavor and value lacked in my experience at Spice, I won’t be coming back especially with all the other food places to try in Fort Worth.

So I decided to come back here again because I loved it so much the first time! However. This time was a different experience! This time was during a busy lunch service. We had to seat ourselves after waiting about 5 minutes of people walking back and forth even though there was a «please wait to be seated» sign in the doorway. After that, it took a while to be greeted which is understandable because they were pretty busy. We decided on something off the lunch menu and something off of the regular menu. We ordered the panang curry that came with a veggie spring roll which I loved! We ordered the Gai yang and som tum(Thai bbq chicken and papaya salad) which we were really excited about, off of the regular menu as well. I just have to say that the chicken was very dry before I drenched it in Thai chili sauce and the papaya salad was not good at all. We really didn’t know what to expect with the papaya salad but we didn’t expect it to be like this. It was basically was papaya drenched in a very sweet syrup. No other flavors were present besides sweet and a hint of sour. I would love to come back here again because I do enjoy the atmosphere and the service here. However. It could use some improvements.

So I ventured here for a first date type of thing and I found it to be the perfect spot to do so. It was a quaint little spot with modest décor and polite servers. I was saving room for my dinner at a friend’s later so I opted for the Tom Yung soup. I am in love with this soup by the way and their version does not disappoint. The soup wasn’t as spicy as I thought it should be but it was delicious nonetheless. My lunch date had beef fried rice and he said he enjoyed it. I will definitely be back here again!

This is definitely one of the better Thai places I’ve had in Fort Worth. Previously, I had only eaten at Kin Kin and Thailicious. I’m glad I tried this place though. Food — 4⁄5 1. Yellow curry w/chicken — they are SO generous with the chicken. There was more than 2x the chicken compared to the other Thai places in Fort Worth. The curry itself was also very flavorful. 2. Pad thai with chicken — This is the first time I’ve had pad thai in Fort Worth and actually liked it. The portion was also very large. I only ate half 3. Bamboo shrimp — These are shrimp wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and deep fried. It was tasty, but overpriced at 6 for $ 9. 4. Thai tea — It was cute and came in a mason jar. It was too sweet and had too much condensed milk. I barely tasted any tea. 5. Thai ice coffee — This tasted just like Vietnamese coffee jello to me. The food was good, and I’ll definitely be back.

Nice, modern, and clean little place. Cute ambiance with nice calming music. I don’t have any complaints about the service either. We had the mixed vegetables with tofu and brown rice and drunken noodles with chicken. They both came with an egg roll and a salad with your choice of dressing. I liked the peanut dressing. Our food was presently nicely, and I actually ended up having to take some of meal home in a doggie bag. It wasn’t like it was too much to where I couldn’t finish my food, but I didn’t want to go into a food coma: P I ordered a 1 on the spice scale, but everything was still wonderfully flavorful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Even though I like to try new restaurants, I’ll probably be back(:

I like this place. Another hood walkable. Spicy beef salad is delicious. Love the sauce. Tofu massaman is also good. Only complaint I have about the massaman was the last time I ordered it, I got 3 pieces of potatoes. 3. I’d expect more for a full entrée. So food is good. Why 3 stars? I always order to go then walk my dog over to pick it up. The two occasions I have picked up from them, they said 10 minutes. It takes me about 10 minutes to walk there. I always end up waiting another 10 – 15 minutes. Extra waiting is fine, I don’t have much of a problem with that. But I got to watch my dog, too. Don’t say a wait time and always over extend it by double. So will I order again? Of course. This place tastes great. But I’ve never had food on time and the staff is never that friendly.
