We met some friends out at Studio Eighty. It was a small building jam packed full of people. We stood at the bar for 15 min while being completely ignored only to have the bar back tell us there was another bartender on the other side. The staff seemed to not like their jobs. There were only 3 bar tenders in the whole building! On top of that the whole building was full of empty reserved tables. There was no where to sit or hardly walk because of all the tables. The music was good but that’s about it. This place might be ok if you reserve a table ahead of time and have a few drinks before you go, because you won’t get many there.

If you love 80s music, this is the place for you. The crowd skews a bit older but there are always plenty of people in their 20s, as well. The drinks are sort of pricey(I think beers are average– but not a beer drinker so not sure) but they always have $ 3 somethings @ the back bar– even on Saturday nights. It’s non smoking which is a HUGE plus in my book(with a patio smoking section outside that is always crowded). They have valet service, of course, and while the parking lot is tiny, we’ve never had to work too hard to find a parking spot. We’ve parked at the restaurant next door(Dickey’s???) a few times(as do many others) & never had any issues. There is always a cover for guys($ 5???) but ladies are free. The only complaint I have with this place is that the ladies’ room is not in great shape overall(clean but kinda borderline«am I in a truck stop?») & it’s also very small– only 2 stalls– so the line is almost always at least 8 – 10 women long. Be forewarned– don’t wait until the last minute!

My sister, girlfriend and I had a great time dancing the night away at this retro little club. They play a great selection of 80’s music only, complete with nostalgic music videos that accompany the songs on several flat screen TV’s that are put up the the corners of the club. a la sports bar style. Cool vintage décor, and wild neon lights, its definitely the place for a rowdy night. We went late on a Friday evening, and there was no time for gabbing. Its totally a place to get your drink on and shake your groove thing! There’s a a long bar area when you walk in to your left, and a lounge area close by to that. Further into the venue there is a small dance floor surrounded by bar top seating, and a little VIP bottle service lounge. We sat here at the few couches and had our own private dance floor. We haggled the price from the original $ 250 down to $ 150– but probably because we came in at 12:30 and the bar closed at 2. Prepare yourself for a great time, but to smell like smoke when you leave. And potentially have a headache from the crazy loud music and wild light effects. or perhaps thats just me and my 31 year old«old» self. …But I still can’t wait to go back!

Studio Eighty, yes! Classic 80s music makes for the best dancing, I tell ya. The energy here is fantastic and I’m loving the mixed demographics. People from all walks of life and ages are dancing and drinking and laughing together. Just being goofy, and that’s the best. Except for the couple who was making out against the back wall — that was gross. It looks like this place has been here since even before the 80s. I mean. It’s not some fancy updated club, it’s very low key and the décor and atmosphere are so casual and silly and fun. The Justin Bieber cardboard cutout at the door scared me, and all the flashing DJ lights might give you a headache, but it’s probably impossible to walk through the doors and not have fun. The bar is long and skinny and it’s pretty hard to maneuver around it when it’s crowded, but people seem to be pretty friendly overall so we didn’t have any issues saying«excuse me!» and squeezing through to the front. People are congregated everywhere and the dance floor is packed, so you’ve just gotta claim your own space and enjoy. On my last visit we were inspired to purchase the little VIP lounge which is set up on a small risen stage with a couple couches, a coffee table, and a tiny space for dancing. It typically is reserved for $ 250, but we were able to haggle with the manager and get it for $ 150, woohoo! He brought us a bottle of champagne and we had a serious blast dancing like idiots to magical forever-loved hits like Thriller, My Sharona, and Like A Virgin. They also have some great specials here, like drinks and burger for 88 cents… What?! I can’t prove it because I didn’t inquire, but that’s what the sign said out front! Can’t wait to come back here for more ridiculous dancing.

This place is a terrible mix of bad hair, 80’s music and ridiculously over priced drinks. After requesting an appropriate song from the DJ, he told me that Fort Worth was a terrible place for music and even he couldn’t stand the city he «sells the place out with **** music» every week. If you are 40+ and really hurting for a good time this bar may work for you.

Sadly, I went on the ONE night they don’t play 80’s music but have a DJ playing house and techno. Major disappointment. Need to return on the weekends when it is 80’s music.

Woah… talk about sticker shock. Good music but the drinks are expensive. I’m ok with paying money for drinks except when they are small and expensive. Even on 7th there are cheaper drinks.

Fun place! Great vibes, sweet staff, beautiful women and ridiculously cheap weekday drink specials!(80¢ Fireball shots anyone?) Caters to a mixed crowd of all ages, I always have a great time and never leave disappointed. The hookah lounge is a nice place to relax if you want to get away from the crowd, runs $ 4 Vegas bomb specials all night Friday and Saturday, and carries a wide variety of top notch shisha flavors. All areas of the club are tended to by cocktail waitresses, and there are four full bars you can choose from to ensure prompt service. Highly recommend!

It was great being in a club with music I still cherish from back in my 80’s days, but this is about the only thing I enjoyed. It would have been more pleasant if it didn’t have smoking regulations. It’s a bar for crying out loud! Drinks are priced way too high and we were charged for extra drinks that we didn’t even order. Will not return and will continue to listen to 80’s music on Pandora! lol

Excellent music and overall a decent time. However, the club is a lot smaller than expected with a very small dance floor so it was difficult to navigate around the club and to find room on the dance floor. They need to nix the awkward reserved bottle service section that only seats 4 people and the hookah bar section and make it a larger club.

Absolutely LOVE! Nothing bad to say about this club! Full bar, super friendly staff and great vibe throughout the club! Great drink prices, & even better specials! Multiple bars open on weekends for quick service! Dance floor, DJ, Valet and even a shuttle! *Recommend!*

I would have given a much lower rating if you asked me at 10:30 after I paid $ 5 to get in and ordered 2 beers for $ 9.50,where are the topless dancers? hehe. I don’t like to pay cover to go in a club w/o live entertainment. Our old spot(recently closed) was no cover,$ 3 dom. bottles along with a live band. After a few overpriced beers to mellow me out and some great 80s music it turned out to be a fun place. Me my wife and her friend hit the dance floor, small but adequate and did some people watching. Good for a change but still looking for that regular spot for Friday nights.

This bar and staff including the owner were completely rude hypocrites who ruined our New Years Eve outing after we had a whole room reserved I will never ever set foot in this place again and I don’t recommend anybody else ever go to this place

We have our annual high school mixers here and each time the management was very rude to us. They have too many managers and none of them seem to communicate with each other. We called and told them about our idea to have the reunion there and they offered to reserve every table in the place for us until a certain time which really surprised us and we were thrilled. Then once we got there, they acted like I was crazy to think they would reserve tables for us even though it was their idea. They were hateful and rude about me bringing over 100 people to their establishment. Two managers took me aside and scolded me like I was a child. When I told them it was the own’er’s idea, they asked me if he was drunk when I spoke with him. They also seem very prejudice our school was very diverse and the minorities were given a hard time. They also did not have change for a $ 100 bill and sent the person to the bar for his change and the bartender called him a liar and he payed $ 100 for 2 drinks. We will NEVER go back there again. The place is fun and has so much potential but the managers are bullies. I used to have my birthday parties and these reunions each year, never again. We found a brand new club, which holds 1000 people and has a huge dancefloor and plays 80’s music and hits from every decade who are bending over backwards for our yearly reunions. I’ve never seen a place scold a person for bringing them so many paying customers. Trust me it will NEVER happen again.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I guess its okay but 80’s music is like 50’s music when I was a teenager or in my early twenties. So having said that I don’t know why any young adults would ever come here. The median age is probably 40ish. I had fun here but would probably rather be at a different kind of dance club. I left the 80’s 20 years ago so Its time to move on. If you love 80’s music you may love it here. I suppose I am not very nostalgic.

This place isn’t so bad considering it’s in Fort Worth. We celebrated a friends birthday party and we had a good time. The dance floor is a good size the crowd was mix of all ages. Drinks are high for the small amount they give u. But hey they have to make their money. It was 5 at the door. Waitress was pretty good. However for some reason it took them a while to get us the drinks.

My friend and I love, love, love this place! Takes me back to simpler times for sure. The music is so good. The drinks are okay but I’m more into the dancing part of this place. I smile and get so happy when I think of how much fun I’m going to have.

We came here for our Miami Vice Party on a Saturday night. Drinks weren’t too expensive and came with a glow stick for a cocktail stirrer. The dance floor is smallish but I appreciated the railing that was a handy spot to set down a drink. I’m an 80’s kid, true, but I did not grow up with MTV as we did not have cable in our house growing up and were banned from even watching the Simpsons. Regardless, I’m not exactly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to 80’s pop culture so the music and theme were not really my thing. However the owner was a really nice, accommodating guy with flowing locks that made him look like«80’s Jesus», resurrected to save your soul from a bad drinking experience.

Once upon a time last night, we hit a new club, praying that it was going to be good. ATMOSPHERE: So I have to admit, my group of friends isn’t 22 anymore, and we don’t leave to go out to the club at 10:30PM, or we would all be yawning. However, we pulled up to this place and I will tell you it was empty, but heck it was 8:00PM, we had to check this place out to make sure we wanted to stay. So we saw the flash-dancer out front and then the legwarmers. We were asked if we had a reservation, and I said no, and wanted to freak out. Apparently reservations have been booked for the next couple Saturday. Definitely a good sign! So we went in… We were greeted by several folks, probably because we were the only ones to greet. Jeff, who owns this rocking joint, told us that they had a shuttle for FREE. So at the end of the night, he will take you within 5 miles of the club. I jumped for joy because we drove 2.1 miles in a stupid cab and it was $ 14.25. HIGHWAYROBBERY. So we went in and they had $ 1.00 wells till 9.(yes we were there before 9 — quit judging) So I old-schooled it and had a cherry vodka sour. Jeff said he could get us a table if the reservation people didn’t show by 9. In the meantime, he put us in a corner with a leather couch to kick back. The waitress, Vickie, was killer good. She came around often, and always had our drink order correct. We also learned several things, there are great happy hours all week long. Tuesday they have karaōke, so you know I will be back for that. Plus there is a bikini contest that I am sure my friend Nancy could win 5th place in! Yes! So then as 9:00 approached, they moved us to 4 tables that gave us more room and had us in the back, but easy accessible to the dance floor. Bonus. We got a new waitress, Katy. It was her second night, but I would keep her. I went to find her later in the night and ordered 5 Alabama slammers(Nancy is from Alabama) and 2 waters next to a bumping speaker and she totally got it right. Bravo Katy! The dance floor isn’t huge, but you can get out there even with Beat It playing, so the size is fine for me. I did not have to throw my elbow up as weapons to get to the dance floor to find my peeps. MUSIC I cannot lie. The music from the moment I got in was GREATNESS. All excellent 80’s hit. Plus you can NEVER go wrong playing Dirty Diana for someone named Diana who is at your club! They played Wham, Bön Jovi, Journey, Madonna, Duran Duran, and later in the night they threw in some 90’s, which is cool with me. By 12:30AM, Jeff said they throw in some mainstream for the folks who don’t remember the 80’s but should. Overall — I think this place is killer good. ***Bonus*** You come out of this place not smelling like an ash tray AND they actually use the air conditioner. If I am going to footloose, I am going to need some cool air blowing on me. There are several fans and it’s not like a humid mess in there.
