I recently started a teaching job at a museum and need books for the students to read. The librarians here are AWESOME!!! Everyone is sincerely helpful. I brought my 7 and 9 year old girls and they helped them with as much enthusiasm and care that I expect from anyone working with children. I highly recommend this library.

We decided to get my daughter her first library card this weekend. After researching the local libraries, we decided we would start off at Summerglen. We walked in and were waiting at the front desk for several minutes. The two staff members didn’t acknowledge we were there so we went over to the information desk and she quickly helped us sign up for our cards. The selection of books is not the greatest and the only activity it seemed that they have for preschool kids is on Monday mornings at 1030. I was hoping they would have something at least twice a week. The neat thing about Fort Worth Public Libraries is that you can check out books at any location and return them to any location as well. So, I think we would probably prefer a library with a bigger selection — especially for children and early readers. The selection is very slim. Nice that this location is close by though so we can return our books here if needed. The staff could use a little more pep in the customer service department — but oh well, such is life! ENJOY!

Our old library. Not the best hours but I found the staff to be super helpful and being able to search the catalog and request materials on-line makes the whole process painless.
