Saw this place on my drive this morning and decided to try it out. The family that runs the place is extremely friendly and were very patient as i decided what I wanted. The donuts were hot and fresh and superb! I had original, glazed, chocolate, and some donut holes and destroyed them all. The person in front of me said the kolaches were great too, definitely be going back to try them out!

First visit to donut shop near by our place in Texas It’s hard to find 24hr donut shops in Texas whereas all donut shops in CA are 24hrs. Anyway I really enjoyed their maple bacon, this was something new but tasted very good. My kids enjoyed marshmallow donut, also I enjoyed jalapeño big sausage roll. Definitely will stop by again when we come back next year!

Sausage kolaches were pretty good, but I didn’t like the donuts. Donut holes had a weird taste and the apple fritters had no apples.

They never dissappoint, everything’s made fresh daily. Jumbo jalapeño sausage roll is amazing not too spicy just right amount of jalapeño to kick in and wake you up in the morning. They have 3 different type of donut holes: glaze, chocolate, and chocolate sprinkles. Service is excellent

they reheat the sausage rolls that were not sold from they day before, same with the donuts. the donuts have a gross oily taste and the old man will rip you off and charge you extra for donuts that you did not buy, then throw in a few donut holes to make up for it. one day i went in here and the old lady had a horrible cold and was sneezing all over the counter and wiping snot on her sleeve. i left once i saw that. this place has gone down hill.

From my house to the highway, I am faced with the daily temptation of passing 10 different donut shops. It is really hard. Given this situation, I needed to justify a way to eat more donuts. Here it is. I am going to review them all. lucky me. Each shop will be judged in the following areas: Freshness, Sweetness, Glaze Apportionment, After-taste, Mouth Film, Hold-upableness. A 1 – 5 rating(1 being crappy and 5 being awesome) will be assigned. Let us begin. Freshness: 5: these badboys were hot outta the oven at 5:45 am as they should be and the sweet owner made sure to pull the fresh ones from the back… not the less fresh display donuts. Sweetness: 4 pretty great sweet to cake-y ratio in both cake and glazed varieties Glaze Apportionment: 2. Not enough glaze covering with some dry spots. After-taste: 3 there was definitely a bit of a strange oily aftertaste Mouth Film: 4, not a significant amount of the mouth coating that plagues so many donuts and my hard palate after the glazed or cake donuts. Hold-upableness: 3. at 1pm when I passed the box again, I had another, of course. I am only so strong. It was still a good donut hours after the freshness and heat was gone.
