My wife and i stopped in for lunch to use a groupon before it expired. Our server could not have been nicer or more attentive. I ordered the tomato basil soup and ground beef kabobs, both of which were quite good. My wife had the Mediterranean fish, but was not impressed. We had bread pudding and baklava with coffee for dessert. All in all it was a good experience. I’ll go back if I can convince my wife to go with me.

This place has survived longer than most at this location so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately the only thing better than last time was the service, the service was prompt and courteous. Actually it was a little too fast; I would expect freshly made pasta to take longer than the approximately 8 minutes it took to get to our table. Which brings me to quality… my daughter ordered the vegetarian stuffed cannelloni, it was awful. Obviously reheated, cold in the middle, and the spinach had a lingering metallic taste that rendered the dish pretty much inedible. I had the meat version of the same fish and it wasn’t bad, although the pasta looked more like a thin pizza dough and had a strange consistency. My son had fettuccine alfredo and liked it, but he’s a teenager so if the food is warm and plentiful he’s happy. I thought the sauce was thin and bland, not bad but not good either. We won’t be going back, overpriced plus poor quality makes it a no for us.

They have yummy fresh Mediterranean food. It’s especially nice when you have a coupon because it can be a bit pricey. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is open and relaxing. LOVE the baklava dessert! I’ve been twice and had a good experience both times.

The décor on the inside was really cute and the music in the background was nice. The waiter seated us immediately and had a friendly attitude. We were the only ones in the bistro so it was nice. The appetizer pies were flaky, small but yummy. I got the Greek salad it was pretty yummy and I’m not a huge salad person. The mixed meat was nice, the beef was a bit salty but the chicken was pretty good. Overall the place is worth checking out, I wish the menu had a larger selection though.

Awesome hummus(even better than the local Greek place) and service! Try this place out. Owners are very hands on. Another little hole in the wall place to add to my list!

My husband choose this place for his birthday as we saw it while driving through the neighborhood. We arrived a little before 6 and were the only table but a storm was coming so we attribute it to that. Several people picked up to go orders. The restaurant is situated across from the high school so BYOB. Really nice décor, very classy. Andrew waited on us and was attentive but not intrusive. We had the brushette. It was excellent. My husband had pizza carnivore and said it was really tasty. I had the Greek salad add chicken. Lots of feta, red onion, sun dried tomatoes cucumbers and really fresh lettuce. Chicken was marinated and not dry. I love hummus and saw it on the menu. Andrew said it came with pita bread. Yummy. Next time for sure. We will definately be back with our own wine. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed. Just remember to bring your own wine.

Wow! What an INCREDIBLYCLASSY restaurant! Everyone was so incredibly friendly… even when I came in wearing a baseball cap and hoodie on a Friday night. There was only one party of 6 when I came in and I was a bit hesitant. Two and a half hours later I was a believer and a changed woman! I had found the BEST local restaurants for food, ambiance and style. The food was delicious and generous portions. The couple who sang American Standards were a beautiful pair of songbirds! My friend and I even got up and danced to a Frank Sinatra song! Our waiter kept us well taken care of, without intruding on our dinner flow. I can’t say enough about this restaurant! GREAT for dates! GREAT for family celebrations! GREAT for a casual evening to sit around and enjoy dinner and a nice bottle of wine! I will be returning soon with my family to celebrate a milestone birthday!

I got a shawarma plate today at lunch — $ 17 for it. Wow, ridiculous. The beef was not very good, and it only came with a little bit of hummus which also wasn’t super great. My parents recommended this place because they did a groupon lunch deal for it. If you’re going to try, I recommend getting that and going during lunch Mon-Fri, maybe price-wise it’s worth it then. But as of today, I’m not thrilled. The girl who took my order was nice enough, but when I went to pay she didn’t even tell me how much it was — and I should’ve asked but I just didn’t think about it. I certainly didn’t think it would be that much. She did offer me a to go drink for free, which was nice. I plan on talking to the manager, because it’s just not right to raise the price that much for non weekday lunch. It definitely won’t keep them in business, and they already have trouble with that anyway it seems. It’s very nice inside, but based on mine and my parent’s visit, generally a ghost town.

We tried this place for the first time tonight. We’d heard mixed reviews so we thought we’d check it out. We got there at 6:00 on a Saturday night. We were the only diners there. No one else came in while we were there. The staff was very nice and friendly. There was a sweet old man singing and playing sax in the corner. The atmosphere was very nice and our food was served reasonably quickly. That’s all the positives I can report. The food was average. I ordered the cannelloni. It tasted OK but it was just room temperature. My husband ordered the mixed grill that was basically two skewers of chicken and beef, that was more like hamburger meat than steak. We really want to see this restaurant make it. It needs to raise the quality of their dishes and increase their marketing. The location does not help so they really need to be more visible. We’ll give them another chance. And we’ll remember to bring a bottle of wine. It is BYOB.

Came here while I was visiting family. Being from Vegas I’m used to seeing copious amounts of food for a pretty fair price, I expected the same from Texas. Apparently I was wrong, the food is sub-par, and the prices are inflated. I’m also quite baffled by the menu… it claims to be Tuscan, but it’s Mediterranean with some Italian dishes, and nothing Israeli at all? They are trying to incorporate too many different types of food and pass it off as one generalized thing. I’ve tried better, too expensive for what you are getting.

I tried this place the other day. Ordered it to-go. The mixed grill. The description states it has vegetables. As you can see in the picture, there were none. The menu also states it was $ 19. I was charged $ 20($ 21.65 with tax) I know it’s only a buck. but sheesh! I was most excited about the vegetables! For that price, I was really optimistic there’d be some good ones. Maybe the raisins and almonds on top of the rice(that I scraped off) counted as such?! For that price, we could have eaten for two at Café Medi, and it would’ve been tastier too. I hate to leave such a review because the owner is SO nice. and the high school gal who works there was so very personable. But this place really needs to lower their prices or they’ll get the kiss of death that this particular location usually experiences.

Wanted to like it. Owner is a nice guy… Super average food and a bit pricey relative to what you get. We were the only patrons and meal took 35 mins.

Incredibly overpriced! I cannot believe how expensive this little hole in the wall restaurant is. The food tasted good, but considering how long you have to wait for your meal to come out(25 minutes), and then factor in dinner entreé prices, it is NOT worth it. My Fettuchinne Alfredo came with only 4 little strips of chicken and was a ridiculous $ 19.00/plate. My curiosity in trying this place definitely got the best of me and I feel completely jipped like my wallet was stolen by choosing to dine here. Definitely will not be returning and there is no way this restaurant will stay in business with these highway robbery prices.

Quiet and relaxing atmosphere! The owner engages his customers which personalizes the experience. We enjoyed calamari as our appetizer. Very good! We had Angel Hair Pasta with fresh Pesto & grilled chicken and Chicken Fettuccine for our entrees. Very Good! Fresh ingredients! For dessert we had Flan & Bread Pudding — both were the Best we’ve tasted! We would highly recommend this restaurant!

Okay so normally I wait to write a review until after I’ve left, but it’s impossible. We are here for the Grand Opening and the owner has been visiting us and making sure that we are taken care of. Our complimentary appetizers were AMAZING! The pastries were off the charts! The service has been awesome and we already know we will be back! You need to come here! They have a patio which I’m sure on a cooler evening would be a nice option. It’s BYOB so make the most of it! They take care of the glasses!

I am baffled at the good reviews here. I love family owned restaurants and prefer to go to them over any chain. I typically give a new restaurant many chances to get it right as well but not this one. We arrived at about 6 so we were one of the only parties in the restaurant. The server who greeted us was unkempt. She was wrinkled from head to toe and her white button up shirt was untucked in places. She yells at us from the counter to sit anywhere. They advertise themselves as fine dining or that wouldn’t bother me. I felt like I was in a pizza place(which is what was in this location prior). She comes over to take our order for drinks after we were there for about 10 minutes. Then she brings them out literally almost one at a time. We had 6 people in our party so this took a while. In the meantime a few other diners had come in. We ordered the combo appetizer and it took about 20 minutes to come out. The other, newer diners had their appetizers by now The owner talked to them as well but never to us. I ordered a $ 22 salmon dinner that was advertised to be roasted salmon with risotto, roasted cauliflower and pineapple relish. The rest of my party ordered a combination of dishes to include kabobs, pizza and cannelloni. They brought our food out at different times which meant that someone had to eat after others had finished. When mine finally arrived, it consisted of(posting picture with only one bite of salmon eaten) very over done salmon that was almost white, two pieces of cauliflower that looked almost burned and warm, canned pineapple rings. I kid you not. Canned pineapple! No risotto anywhere on the plate. I wasn’t about to ask about it because it would take forever. During the time we were eating, the very uncomfortable server would fill our drinks one at a time with no ice. Tea in Texas in the summer with no ice isn’t much fun. She just glanced at us with a puzzled look every time we asked for something basic like a fork. It took 5 minutes to get a fork! They definitely need to understand that to run a restaurant you need good food AND someone great people skills to run the front of the house to make sure that the dining experience is a good one. We had neither. Like I said, I am so forgiving. I am also very careful about negative feedback online about any restaurant unless it was really bad and this was. I spent $ 100 on the worst meal I’ve had in years. My kids wouldn’t even eat the pizza. They need to scope out the amazing competition close to them like DiVivvo Brothers and Café Medi,. We frequent each one about once a week or so and they have a long way to go to get to their level.

We absolutely love this place. Authentic privately owned mediterranean food. We got to chat with the owner for awhile, he was so sweet to us and our little girl. He let us try out some new items for free and brought our little girl free hummus since she loved it so much. Their hummus is amazing, he said it was his mother’s recipe. We both ordered the beef shawarma and they were accommodating to our gluten free needs. Not a fast food restaurant — food is cooked to order so come sit, relax, get a glass of wine and enjoy an afternoon or evening here. This place is a must!

So excited to see a Mediterranean restaurant pop up on the neighborhood. This is their 10th day open and we loved it! I had the Mixed Grill which is a chicken and beef kabob… it was excellent especially with the provided sauces. The rice was also excellent and was a little sweet with raisins and almonds… very tasty. My wife tried the Shawarma plate. The beef was flavored very nicely. We also tried the Mediterranean platter and the Green salad to start with. They were both tasty. We will definitely be back again.
