Very few times do I feel that a restaurant has done either a good enough job or a poor enough job to warrant me pulling out my phone during the meal to leave a review. This unfortunately is one of those times. First let me start by saying I love Waffle House and always have. It’s been a staple of my childhood for as long as I can remember. It’s almost always been a great experience except for tonight. I came to this particular Waffle House on a whim with a friend who offered to buy in celebration of my birthday. We were greeted by a puff of smoke from one of the employees smoking just to the right of the entrance. He held the door open and was polite enough when we entered the establishment, and that was the last time he acknowledged that we existed. After looking over menus we had to find ourselves for twenty plus minutes one of the other wait staff came over and asked if we had been helped. I told her that we hadn’t even gotten so much as a look, to which she apologized and asked us what we were having. Drinks came out and food followed semi quickly afterword. It was during this time that I noticed that two other groups of people who had entered after us had already gotten their food. A bit frustrating but I can over look situations most of the time. When the food came out it was prepared in typical Waffle House fashion, which is to say well. My friends Texas bacon patty melt however was missing one of the patties he ordered because«we ran out». The food tasted well hence the second star. Then for the last 15 – 20 minutes we were in the restaurant we were ignored again. As was another gentleman in a different booth who apparently didn’t have the patience my friend and I did because he left after 10 minutes of being ignored and made it quite clear what he thought of it as he stormed out. We finally got our check and left. Now I feel the need to also add, we arrived at about 1230am on a Tuesday night. Not exactly peak hours for customers. The place only had about 4 groups of people in it at its busiest point and even then the groups weren’t large. The quality of service doesn’t live up to the standards I’ve come to expect from Waffle House and honestly I’m quite disappointed that the staff here is so neglectful of the customers. I can’t speak for the day shift of course but if I could leave you with one piece of advice it would be this. Avoid this Waffle House at all costs if your hungry in the middle of the night.

Went to get a waffle and ended up getting lunch instead. The Philly steak sandwich was delicious. I was iffy because everything is old, including the note pads the orders are written on. But had to stop by a Waffle House, they are every where. Hopefully next time I’ll order a waffle.

Good coffee, good company! I work at nights and get off hungry sometimes. This place makes the cut. This Waffle House is far cleaner than most that I’ve been to in DFW…

If you wan’t uncooked eggs or burnt coffee this is the place to get it. Also they have burnt or uncooked bacon. This a terrible place. The waffles have the extra raw sides. They also mess up my order. You should save your money cause this is not worth it.

I love breakfast. This Waffle House has set the standard for good, quick and inexpensive food. Even at their busiest the food is as it pictured. I recommend this Waffle House. Sit at the counter for top service.

I always love waffle house from my memory. During this trip, i visited them again. They were open on July 4th morning and people are really niceand warm feeling, kept my coffee refilled, which helps me to keep awake due to the time difference. The waffle is of course good, I ordered pecan with blueberry filling. When it’s served, it smells so good. It’s stuffing too: D that i tried hard and only finished 3 quarters. I hope they’ll have it soon in LA.
