i’ve done most of my grocery shopping here ever since it opened some time last year. it’s not that the place is good or better than other grocery stores in the area, but just that it’s cheap. The customer service/friendliness of the clerks at this Walmart is just like the customer service/friendliness at pretty much any Walmart – aloof and blah. Eh, but what can you do, it’s Walmart. I kind of wish they had more registers open during peak hours. The parking is fine, the inside is clean and well-stocked. Its produce isn’t great, but that’s what Fiesta’s for. Go here if you’re looking for easy-to-find grocery items because they’re cheapest. And that’s pretty much the only reason to come here.

Do I love walmart? No. But this Walmart is clean, has everything you need, is well laid out, and the fruit/veggie selection rocks. This place is super close to my house and I find myself running in 3 – 4 times a week to pick up various items. The lines are a little long sometimes, but when I asked for help locating a price on a pineapple the produce man was so friendly, nice and helpful! When do you get experiences like that in Walmart? Woohoo!

Clean and still shiny and new, but small selection of everything and like every other Wal-Mart, long lines with few registers open. As a neighborhood Wal-Mart it’s mainly food products and very few household items.

A Walmart without most of the soul-crushing evil and despair that’s usually at Walmart? …Seems like a trap. Here’s how I could see myself going: They have hummus, which doesn’t seem to exist within the confines of nearby Fiesta(which is my grocery go-to at the moment), and decent beer, which also doesn’t really exist at Fiesta. Other than that, it’s certainly not an average Walmart, but it still has the Walmart warehouse feel and the employees who are there and kind of half-care. They’re trying and all, but there’s no mistaking where you are. But as for its grocery store bona fides, the nuts and bolts of it are A-OK: The produce seemed really fresh, prices were low, and there was a pretty good variety of everything. Ninja edit: they won’t accept returns from other Walmarts if they don’t stock the exact item that you’re trying to return, which I found out today from cold hard experience. One-star for the completely unnecessary frustration, stupid policy, useless /utterly incompetent employees, being routinely understaffed on top of that, and in conclusion I hate them.
