crazy amount of beer. if you can’t find a beer you like something is wrong with you. Surprisingly the food is pretty damn good. I have tried a lot of their menu choices and I would have to say this place nails it on food and beer.

Awesome beer selection. The bartender was helpful and pleasant. We also had the wings which were fantastic and the pretzel with mustard and beer cheese. I look forward to going back soon.

Wide selection of beers. Food was great, except the mac & cheese was bland(in my opinion). The golden ale shrimp was nice though! Would definitely come again :)

My experience was very inconsistent. Started off terrible service, switched waiters, good food, good service We received slow and terrible service to start. Our server was very slow to begin almost as if he forgot about us. When we let him know it has been over 20 mins and we still did not have water or our beers… He was very sarcastic and overall just not concerned. We considered walking out bc we felt disrespected and unappreciated. He told us «look around the place is busy» then walked away… Still no drinks. Not exactly his you should treat your customers. Took another 10 mins to get our waters. So next thing we know we get a new server who apologized and took over. Josue, too care of us. He was on top of things and even fixed a mistake the other server made. We came to WOB and had previously been spreading the word about their good food and beer selection. We come at least once a week but honestly the service will cut down how much I visit. There was no reason to tql 30 mins to get the ball rolling and then be rude.

Chill atmosphere, outstanding service! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about all kinds of brews. Food is GREAT! Must try the Artisan Sausage Board and Black & Blue Flatbreads! Parking usually isn’t too bad. We came on a slow night both times. We plan on making visits here more regular for us!

World of Beer is definitely a fun place. The staff is very congenial when you walk in, and the waiters make sure to serve your beer connoisseur requests as good as they can. There’s a nice selection of atypical beers on tap; the selection rotates whenever a beer runs out, so there’s always something new to try. But in the unlikely event that there’s nothing on tap that can tickle your fancy, World of Beer also has a very good selection of bottled beer. The great variety of available beer and their trademark pretzels make the bar a nice spot for a special conversation and your required dose of malt and hops.

WoB is fun, loud, several TV’s and they offed to change the channel for me if I did not see the game I wanted. On Saturday & Sunday they have a BEERunch that goes until 3pm but since I came in 10 till they gave me the regular menu. That was fine because I picked out several items I wanted to try. Today I had the French Onion soup and it was delicious! OM! Came out hot and was a good temp to the last drop. The melted Gruyère cheese was yummy! Gave the broth a new flavor ½ through when it was melting, and being stored in. The servers are all friendly and helpful. Neal was the one who helped me the most today. I do not remember the name of the server the other day when I came, but he too was great! They sure make you feel welcome. I like that you can sample. I sampled a few new beers today and found another one I liked. A lot of beer choices here so you are bound to find one or more that you like. Plus they have a full bar so you are set if are not a beer drinker.

If you like beer and bar food this place is perfect! My friends and I are members of their beer club where you get a point for every different beer you try and every Tuesday they have 25% of bottles. Their happy hour is also awesome because they have $ 5-$ 6 flatbreads, wings, Mac and cheese fried pickles… I’ve had em all and they don’t disappoint! My favorite thing to get here are the loaded tots… Order them once and I promise you’ll be back for more. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is sometimes when they get busy their service can get a little shoddy…

I hung out at this place while I was waiting for my interview to start across the street! I was a tad nervous so I went to to grab a beer and a lite snack. I had a beer selection at the suggestion of my waiter AJ. He was a sweet kid and very attentive. I can’t remember the name of the beer(I was too jittery I guess), but it was similar to a Blue Moon. It wasn’t my favorite. a little light. I think I would have liked something a bit more flavorful. BUTHELLO, THISISTHEWORLDOFBEER! So surely next time I will be able to find something that i’d like! I ordered the German pretzel, which the waiter loving referred to as «the big ass pretzel». Holy Hell. It was the largest pretzel i’ve ever seen in my life. I didn’t even finish a third of it! But it was scrumptious, served warm and with a side of hot mustard with a tad of sweetness to it! 4 bucks for the beer and 8 for the pretzel. The restaurant is huge, long and slender in set up, very clean and bright. Lots of bar table tops, a long bar area and a few booths along the edges. There is also a giant patio area with tons of comfy looking couches and fire pits. I got a kick out of their cute little fall decorations… a hay bale and a few pumpkins. Harvest décor at a bar? SOCUTE! I’m headed back here in a few weeks for a Christmas party of my sister’s, where I shall drink A WORLDOFBEER! #huzzah

Pros: Good place, good selection of brew and chill atmosphere, polite staff. Cons: Very difficult to locate unless you’ve been to this place before. For example, If you’re slowly driving by and trying to spot any kind of sign that clearly says«World of Beer», then you’ll never spot it, the entire view of the storefront is completely obstructed and covered up. Whoever decorated this location decided it was a great idea to plant an entire Forrest of tree’s directly in front of this location.

Their patio and huge doors that are kept open on nice nights makes this place a more calm alternative to the bustle of west 7th. On the Friday night that I stopped by they had two dudes playing covers of various famous songs but their take on them was so dreary and slow that it kind of dampened the mood of the place. It was also surprisingly slow for a Friday night. They have a nice couch sitting area in the corner if you’re into that while the small table we were at got a little cramped for 3 people even though it was seated for 4. Our server was an awesome guy, chatting us up and even playing a hand of cards with us. His humor and beer suggestions were on point making it a good experience.

Beers were all great and the staff was very helpful in explaining the differing offers. As an example they were out of Guinness but the waiter was very quick to recommend a different beer that was very similar. Food was awesome tater tots with super fresh jalapeños. Also you have to get the soft pretzel. I don’t even like jalapeños or soft pretzels that often but these were awesome and perfect combo with a good bit of beer drinking. TVs everywhere. Great place to watch any sporting events. Tables aren’t huge though so be weary of bringing a larger group over 8.

Large and spacious, this place was pretty empty for a Saturday night. It seems a bit removed from the rest of West 7th bars, but is definitely worth a stop by. As you would expect, there was a large list of beers, both bottled and draft. Those adverse to beer have no need to fret, cocktails and wine were also available. Overwhelmed with choice, I defaulted to a Revolver Blood & Honey and then tried the white peach sangria to close my night. A bit on the sweet side, but light and refreshing. Our group enjoyed a few of the beer flights, which are an excellent way of sampling new-to-you brews. The brunch menu seems intriguing for a future visit!

Service is great! My husband and I first went to World of Beer in arlington. This location is bigger and nicer. This location also seems to attract the younger crowd. Conveniently located across UNTHSC medical school. ;) We tried the Guinness brat sliders– probably one of our most disliked item. the bread was a bit hard and there was too much bitter mustard on it. I usually love mustard. But this was wayyyy different. I was the only one to try it at our table and it was not good. So it went untouched. These apps were the normal, can’t screw it up too bad. wings– good onion rings– good pickle chips — okay golden ale shrimp — good. pretzel– pretty awesome! fresh, hot and soft! although no one liked the mustard dipping sauces. we saw several other items being brought out and it skipped our table. so I would say on the food part… eh… I would not order food here unless I was super starving. Beer flights– the servers told us anything we wanted to know about the beer! They seem pretty knowledgeable. I would be a terrible waitress as I do not know anything about beer! hahah We have been here before and definitely don’t mind coming back. TX definitely needs more craft beer pubs. I do very much wish for more cider options. I usually don’t drink beer, but I enjoy ciders.

Even I’m a big fan of World of Beer and I can’t drink beer. So there you have it, that should tell you something. And that something is that this location has a lot going for it: It’s in a great up-and-coming location on West 7th, the interior is really quite beautifully designed(it comes across as playful and cool while maintaining sophistication), it has a killer patio space with tons of umbrellas, the Happy Hour menu has awesome deals(including super affordable apps), and the«world of beer» here is really impressive. They even have a world of cider! Maybe not a world but definitely a land. Okay an island. Whatever, plenty of options. I can’t imagine anyone coming here and not being able to find multitudes of fantastic brews that suit their taste. I found the staff here to be incredibly attentive and truly knowledgable about their menus. I only came across one or two waitresses who didn’t seem too cheery, but maybe that’s because they were working the patio so I don’t blame them. It’s so damn hot and humid. The menu here is really admirable and covers most of your bar food bases, but with a refined twist and beer pairing suggestions listed in plain sight. I’ve had the sausage sampler which was delicious — love the stone ground mustard and little pickles/peppers on the side. Most of these apps I cannot eat, but I was able to see and smell their beautiful aromas… that German style pretzel is literally bigger than my head, the cheesy tavern tater tots looked so ooey-gooey delicious, and the flatbreads were beautifully presented. Don’t worry(I know you were), they do have gluten free options, like crab cakes. Very interesting. I thought they seemed a bit overpriced at $ 16 so I didn’t order them, but maybe in the future! I think the food prices overall are too high, but you can’t beat the Happy Hour menu.

Every time I come to WOB, they do not disappoint. I’ve been here and the one in Arlington, and they both are great. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, and welcoming. The food is great, with a lot of options. And, of course, they have a killer beer beer selection. If you’re into beer, you will love this place, and you will find MANY beers here that you’ll be hard pressed to find elsewhere. But, their selection of non-beer drinks is pretty good as well. For someone, like me, who can’t drink beer anymore, I was very pleased with my drinks. They have a great selection of cocktails and even wines. Everyone in your party can find what they want. This location also has a great patio and is located in a great location. As for the employees here, they are friendly and want you to have a good time! Each employee is very attentive, and management cares that you have a great experience. All in all, if you’re in the area, this is a great spot.

Beer, beer, beer, beer. You know I love beeeerr. Put this beer on my coasta, cause I would like to drink ya, holla at me when I’m out of beer. And thank the beer lords that they never leave me empty or hating a beer. They have something for everyone. The staff is so nice too. My annoying, non beer drinking cousin asked for like 6 samples and the server was so nice about it. They’re always refilling waters and making sure you’re perfect. The food isn’t bad either. It’s always fresh and tastes great. I’m a bit obsessed with their tots. If you get the chance to sit on their fancy chairs outside, do it. WOB staff — please get an outside system. Yall are always jamming inside and there’s nothing but air to jam out to outside :(

We finally got to try out WOB! Yay! My boyfriend is obsessed with trying out new beer so we’ve had this place on our go to list for awhile. We decided to go around 4 pm so when we arrived it was pretty empty and we got to sit wherever. It took a few minutes to get a server to come over, he brought us menus and got our drink orders. He was nice and could recommend some awesome beer but wasn’t too attentive. It was kind of hard to track him down during our meal so that’s the reason I only gave 4 stars. We decided to just get a few appetizers and I wasn’t drinking so Connor was the only one ordering alcohol. We ended up ordering the Pale Ale Shrimp and 10 pc garlic parm wings. Our food was awesomeeeee. Especially the shrimp, yummyyyy! The bf tried a few different beers and he liked them all. There’s a huge selection, I think any beer lover would absolutely like this place. I already can’t wait to come back!

We went to World of Beer twice on soft opening week. The first time was the 2nd night, and we couldn’t get any indoor seat at all. They have outdoor seating as well with a nice fire pit. I definitely want to try it out when it is above 40 degrees. The have open seating, so basically you can sit anywhere you like. We came back again later in the week for a late lunch around 2:30pm and finally got a table. This place is very popular and seems crowded at all times of the day. We got the Ace Apple Cider and the Community Witbier. The Ace Apple Cider was not too sweet and the Community Wibier was easy to drink. We ordered the hanging German pretzel, golden ale shrimp, black & blue flatbread, and BBQ Bacon burger. All were very good. Our waitress was courteous and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. According to her, the popular food items include the pretzel, ale shrimp, classic reuben, and the flat-iron steak sandwich. So we have to go back and try the rest of the items on the menu. Happy hour is from 4 to 7pm M-F with discounts on drinks and $ 5 for the pretzel and flatbreads. There is live music on weekends. Multiple TV’s(at least 15) line the bar and dining area, so it’s a big-time sports bar. The only drawback about this location is parking, especially when WOB customers are competing with neighboring restaurant customers for coveted parking spots. It can be hard to find parking with the limited parking spaces alongside 7th St and the small parking lot down the street. The parking garage provides more parking, though. Overall, WOB will thrive at this location.
