Lookout Motel

I’ve stayed at this place half a dozen times. I thought I would go ahead and write a review on it because I have spent quite some time there. I would like to start off by saying, this place provides a bare minimum of what a person needs to sleep and visit with some family members.
Ive mainly used it as a meeting place to take my son to visit with his dad and avoid the outside interruptions of our families.
The hotel is a lot fresher than it used to be. I think this place is like a gazillion years old, but they have done a good job of painting it up, so it looks a lot better than it used to.
The price still seems to be the cheapest in the area. The location is great because you can just walk where ever you need to go OR you could catch a bus, but I’m guessing most of us will have a car for going out to supper. You can also order takeout from many of the restaurants in the area.
Like I said, it is not the best place to stay, but it certainly serves a purpose for meeting up in a neutral location. I have photos of a couple of my visits, but they do not show the rooms, they just show a couple of family members sitting in a chair.
You may have to ask for extra towels because our room did not have enough for us. But dont worry, they can fix you up with the necessities.
I would not hesitate to stay at this motel again in the future. If there are any reviewers whov’e stayed in this place over different decades, I’m sure you would agree that the place is a bit nicer than it used to be. But then again, it is hard to tell how one individuals experience is going to pan out. It will depend on their mood, expectations, and the extent of the customer care rep’s willingness to make it a top notch experience.
With this motel, I was not looking for high price and classy experience — I was looking for a place to meet my minimal needs, and it did that very well.
