Great place to live! I lived here for three years and really enjoyed the location as well as amenities. The office staff was just the very best and never hesitated to assist with anything.

I lived at Wright’s Point for one year when I relocated from California to go work in Northern KY. I found out I was being relocated three weeks before I had to vacate my apartment in California and move 2400 miles to the Cincinnati area. Three weeks meant that I had no time to actually visit anything in this area to see apartments face-to-face. I based my choice of Wright’s Point based on a coworker’s friend who enjoyed his time renting there, a Google Earth satellite image of the area, and a nice conversation with the leasing agents of Towne Properties. I totally lucked out because despite blindly choosing a random apartment complex in a town I’ve never heard of… I ended up choosing well! Wright’s Point’s floor plans are great — wide open greatrooms, good-sized kitchens, fireplaces, balconies, and wooded views. The price for my 1 bedroom 1 bathroom partment(with balcony, fireplace, washer-dryer hookups) was $ 710/month. During the winter I rented a carport for an additional fee(which slips my mind at the moment). The complex is extremely well-maintained, which was a relief. I had a fly issue, a wasp issue, a plumbing issue, and a gigantic freaking moth issue and the maintenance staff tended to everything within 24 hours. Snow-removal was impeccable as well. There is an awesome, awesome clubhouse that has pool tables, a bar(yes, a real bar!), a pool, laundry facilities(4 washers, 4 dryers), a pretty awesome gym and… get this… a tanning bed!(I never used it, as I’m blessed with naturally-active melanin, but it was used frequently and I’ve never heard of an apartment complex that had a tanning bed to use for free!) Packages are delivered to the clubhouse and they will hold them for you until you pick them up. The leasing agents are absolutely fantastic and so so friendly. The general demographic of the tennants here are young professionals; I rarely saw anyone older than early-30s. There are two things that prevent this complex from getting 5 stars: 1) No cell phone service if you have AT&T or Sprint. I had the former and ended up getting a landline phone because I couldn’t make or receive calls at all. My friends who had Verizon said when they visited they would lose a few bars, but they were still able to make calls. 2) The area. Wright’s Point is off of Highland Ave — a very wooded, dark road that bends around blind curves… possibly the least pedestrian-friendly road I’ve ever seen. The only street light at this part of Highland Ave is for a swimming club down the street from the Wrights Point entrance. If you want to go for a jog or a walk, you can’t because there are no other lights, lots of fast drivers(it’s a fairly busy road that feeds right into Covington), lots of deer, and no shoulder or sidewalk. If I wanted to go for a run, I’d drive 10 minutes to park at Wal-Mart and go for a run along Kyles Lane(which has a sidewalk). I’d still recommend this complex for anyone ages 18 – 35 who wants to live within a 10 minute drive of Covington/Newport/Cincinnati but still have a rural or suburban feel.
