I’ve been here a few times, good size park with room to run. Would be much nicer with more grass and less gravel. No trees for shade on a sunny day, there are a few little trees planted in the play area but they are years away from providing shade. A shade awning of some sort would make it a really nice park. The only real downside unfortunately is other dog owners who don’t control their dog when necessary. We don’t all want your spastic puppy jumping on us when we’re there to spend some time with our four legged friend. Try some obedience training, both for puppy and their human!(

Great place to take your dog! Alot of the time its very mello theres water on sight and its fully enclosed! Be aware this place os still being worked on so not alot of grass or trees. but it is coming along well! Parking lot seems to be sufficient for its needs and you could always park in the lot next to it! Come down and let your puppys play i do recommend this park!

We stayed nearby at a hotel that accepted dogs. We were so happy to have found this dog park so close to where we were staying. We visited it 3 times a day while we were in the area. Our pup was happy and able to run around and do some good sniffing. Unfortunately, there were no other dogs there most of the time. Our girl likes to socialize.

Great stop right of highways 101 on put road trip. The park had obstacles and fresh water hose. We didn’t encounter any other dogs while there. Good location next to a feed store, grabbed some bones for the pups right after

A very nice dog park for the area. Fortuna has the best dog litter bags I have ever seen at a public dog park. The park itself is well kept although can be a bit muddy after rain. Dog parks are interesting places or should I clarify dog owners are interesting. If you don’t want your precious little pooch around other dogs stay home and save yourself the stress of other dogs sniffing your prudish pups ass. Its a dog thing stupid…

Stopped by while we were out and about during our last trip. Our pup absolutely LOVED the agility type of equipment they had at the dog park. He loved going up and down the ramps and the tubes. It is a great dog park in a great location. Very enjoyable!

Stopped here while on a road trip through Northern California. Gravel, spacious lot conveniently located off the highway and next door to a pet supplies store, perfect for us! Our girls made friends with the crowd here on Saturday, running and playing with the friendly locals. Doggie bags, fresh water, chairs, and dog toys available for visitors. CAUTION: No people potty here, unless you’re cool with popping a squat… when in Rome, right?

More of a doggy rest stop than a real dog park. Rocky ground with weeds interspersed, but right off the freeway and easy to access if you’re passing by. No trees or shade, so bring a hat and sunglasses.

A great place to take your best friend! A scenic park right off highway 101 in Fortuna. Close to the hotels and right next door to Fortuna Feed and Garden Center, so you can pick up a treat for your pups after a nice visit! Bring your dogs and meet some friendly people!

The park is right off highway 101 at the 12th street exit in Fortuna, right next to Fortuna Feed and Garden Center. The whole area is fully fenced, it has a separate area for small dogs as well as running water and watse stations. Every time we’ve been there people are friendly and the dogs have so much fun playing with other dogs in a safe, off leash area. It is becoming a fast favorite for locals and tourists!
