this place has totally deteriorated over the last 6 months Avoid at all costs, find another provider for your care

If I would have written this review the first time we were seen at ²⁰⁄₂₀ in March of 2014 I would agree to the reviews posted and would have given them a 5 star. But upon our return visit in March of 2015 everything possible went wrong. Our VSP insurance was read incorrectly and wrong information and billing was done. We were told our glasses we had repaired were in only to find after we tried to pick them up and they were not in yet. They then asked us to return our broken glasses after they gave them back to us which caused another trip to the office. Messages were left on their answering machine that were not returned. We then found out that they let go their entire office staff and hired an entire new staff. So, we decided to look beyond these small communication problems and have our annual eye appointment. Wrong move! Again, everything went wrong. After allowing them to try two different prescriptions I still could not obtain a pair of lenses to be able to see with. I had to go to another eye doctor to be rechecked only to find out my prescription was wrong and the sunglasses they ordered for me didn’t fit my face. Now after 3 months of going thru getting new lenses I was finally able to return to them my glasses and sunglasses for credit. It was a long process that was very costly. Even though I received credit for my lenses, the list of other expenses have been ignored. Dr Carmolli you should have stayed with your original staff who cared about your patients.

First time here earlier today. I have VSP insurance and in need of new glasses. I wanted to find something close to me here in town or N Scottsdale, and am very happy I tried ²⁰⁄₂₀.
Amber helped me find shapes of frames which was flattering for my face type by trying a lot of samples within the store. She also dug some more to try in her office. When that wasn’t as fruitful (I’m very picky), she browsed online for me! I had a few that she found online and she has ordered samples to try in 2 days.
I will be sticking w/​them due to the extra help, as I had my mind made that I would try Costco, etc.
That, to me, is great customer service and a great experience for me.

Cody at the front desk was so wonderful! He was quick with a hello when I walked in and was so kind to my family. He fixed my glasses with a smile and a quick joke. Would love to have him again.

Cody was so wonderful and nice over the phone. He squeezed me in for the day since my week was booked! Love this place.

Dr Carmolli is great with people of all ages. Took his time for each person. All the staff is very helpful with picking out glasses and knowing what is the best fit!

Staff was attentive and friendly and most of all they were knowledgeable! Definitely the best experience I’ve had in a long time!

I recently moved to Mesa, and this place was recommended by a friend. A little bit of a drive but completely worth it! Theresa was so wonderful. I’d definitely be back for any future needs, and would gladly tell everyone that this is the place to go!

Dr. Carmoli is a great eye doctor.

Dr. Carmolli and staff are very patient and take the time to respond to all questions. Have been going to 2020 for a number of years and have always been treated professionally. Well trained staff.

I didn’t realize that I needed glasses until I had to sign a document and couldn’t read the small print. It was urgent that I see an eye doctor. A friend recommended ²⁰⁄₂₀ Image Eye Centers. They got me in the same day I called. The doctor (Gino) was extremely efficient and answered all of my questions. He told me that once I got my glasses, I would feel better, experience less anxiety, and feel more rested. Apparently, the readers I had were ½ of the power that I actually needed. Once the doctor was finished with the exam, I was assisted by Cameron, who was amazing. His attention to detail, and help in picking out the right frames, lenses, etc., made the whole experience a pleasure. Once I picked up my new glasses, Cameron made sure the fit was perfect. I haven’t taken them off since. What a difference it has made in my life. From the doctor, to Cameron, the excellent staff, I would highly recommend ²⁰⁄₂₀ in Fountain Hills to anyone seeking glasses or an eye exam. You will not be disappointed.
